Joshua Peyton tries to leave Redneck Riviera after not paying $17 tab, tells police “Y’all should just arrest me then.”

42-year-old local musician Joshua Peyton tried to exit Redneck Riviera without paying for their services around 2:00 a.m. on April 5th. When officers arrived, they located him and spoke with Calla Carpenter, a bartender for the establishment that witnessed this, about a resolution for him to pay his tab. Before their arrival, Peyton ran up a $17.18 tab, so officers tried to get him to pay it, during which they noticed he showed numerous signs of intoxication. Officers gave him multiple chances to call a friend or his wife to pick him up, but Peyton never called anyone. Peyton told officers, “No one needs to pick me up because I am going to get in my truck and drive home.” When officers told Peyton that he would not be getting in his vehicle and needed someone to pick him up, he stated, “Y’all should just arrest me then.” Peyton was then deemed a danger to himself and taken into custody for theft of services and public intoxication.

Christopher Sanchez too drunk for Redneck Riviera in downtown Nashville

46-year-old Christopher Sanchez was removed from the Redneck Riviera just before 1 a.m. Saturday due to his disorderly and disruptive behavior. As security was attempting to escort him outside, he began to swing at the bouncers and fought with them. Nearby Metro Nashville Police officers observed the incident and took Sanchez into custody. Security declined to prosecute for the assault, but Sanchez was charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

Chase Irvin, 18, charged with underage drinking, resisting arrest in downtown Nashville

18-year-old Chase Irvin attempted to enter Redneck Riviera late Saturday night, but was denied entry due to his level of intoxication. Irvin then attempted to charge past the bounces. After failing to do so, he began to throw the signs outside the bar and was detained by security. As officers arrived to take him into custody for public intoxication and disorderly conduct, Irvin attempted to flee while being detained. He was additionally charged with underage drinking and resisting arrest.

Bounced from Redneck Riviera, Jason Arwood climbs onto ‘Hell on Wheels’ military party bus

43-year-old Jason Arwood was being kicked out of Redneck Riviera on Broadway just after 7:30 p.m. Saturday in downtown Nashville. Officers were patrolling the area when they observed him just outside the bar, where he picked up food and began to throw it around as various things. Still in a rage, Arwood then ran up to the “Hell on Wheels” military party bus, climbing onto the side of it. Officers took control of the man and took him into custody for public intoxication.

Jennifer Kendrick too rowdy for Redneck Riviera in downtown Nashville

Metro Nashville Police were called to Redneck Riviera after bar staff reported that 38-year-old Jennifer Lynn Kendrick was being unruly and needed to be removed from the property. Officers arrived to find her extremely intoxicated and spoke to her on the sidewalk after escorting her from the venue. She was unable to stand on her own and dropped her phone, and she swayed back and forth. Kendrick was transported to booking and charged with DUI.

Tourist too drunk for Redneck Riviera; refused a ride by Uber — Jeremy Hency arrested

Early Sunday morning, Metro Nashville police responded to Redneck Riviera in downtown Nashville where they found 45-year-old tourist Jeremy Hency in the process of taking his shirt off and yelling obscenities as security staff at the location. He had been kicked out of the location for being too intoxicated and escorted to the door. Hency was with his son, who agreed to arrange an Uber ride to avoid his father being arrested, and officers began to walk away. Moments later they turned to see Hency laying flat on the sidewalk blocking the path of pedestrians. His son attempted to get off the ground, stating the Uber was nearby, and officers even assisted him to the Uber once it arrived. The Uber driver, however, refused service due to his level of intoxication. Left with no other options, Hency was charged with public intoxication and transported to booking.

Woman throws drink on officer who is escorting her out of Redneck Riviera— Jessica Gonzales

Jessica Gonzales, a 27-year-old tourist from Houston, Texas, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail after she threw a drink on Officer Charles Wakefield when he asked her to leave the Redneck Riviera bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville.

The officer was attempting to get her off the property as management asked she be trespassed and was no longer welcome due to causing issues with other patrons. She was charged with disorderly conduct and is free on pre-trial release.
