Montana Culver pulls boyfriend by hair, punches him in face during argument

23-year-old Montana Sky Culver was involved in a domestic disturbance with her boyfriend, Anakin Yance Jones, at their shared residence on Lincoya Bay Drive late December 31st. He returned to the apartment and locked her out, so she grabbed a cinder block and threw it through the back sliding door to get inside. This caused him to run to his room and lock the door. He said he could hear her destroying items in the house when he called the police. Officers observed a laceration to the left side of his face and hair pulled from his head as they were advised he wished to prosecute. Culver was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Steven Tigue throws drink at girlfriend after she prevents him from drunk driving

39-year-old Steven Tigue was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Neacie Keeling, on January 1st. The situation began with an argument over Tigue wanting to drive while he was intoxicated. Keeling took his keys to prevent him from driving, which upset Tigue. Tigue retaliated by grabbing her neck and then throwing a drink at her. Witnesses on the scene corroborated that the assault happened. When officers approached Tigue, he admitted that there was a verbal altercation but denied that anything physical had occurred. Tigue was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.

Charlie Masingo assaults woman after friend pours drink on her during altercation

21-year-old Charlie Masingo was involved in an altercation at Merchants Restaurant on December 31st with her friend Savannah Mcclellan. When officers arrived at the location, they found Masingo detained and inebriated. Officers learned that Savannah Mcclellan had poured a drink on the victim and that Masingo assaulted the victim afterwards. While speaking with the victim of the altercation, officers observed lacerations on her face stemming from the fight. Officers also located a witness who confirmed that Masingo was involved in the altercation. Masingo was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication and assault.

Savannah Mcclellan pours drink on woman during altercation

20-year-old Savannah Mcclellan was involved in an altercation at Merchants Restaurant on December 31st with her friend Charlie Masingo. When officers came into contact with the victim, she told them that Mcclellan poured a drink on her, and then Masingo assaulted her afterward. Mcclellan admitted to pouring a drink on the victim. A witness also came forward and said that she observed Mcclellan pour the drink on the victim. Mcclellan was taken into custody and charged with assault.

Musician Russell Garner assaults wife with door during argument

37-year-old Musician Russell Garner had a domestic dispute with his wife, Kelly Macfarlane, at their shared residence on Lady Nashville Drive on December 30th. Officers spoke to Macfarlane, who advised them that she barricaded her and her son in the room in fear of Garner. She told them that he had recently been physically and mentally abusive to her. She said nothing physical happened that day, but he threatened to take their son away from her. Macfarlane then explained that Gartner assaulted her a few days prior when they argued on Christmas morning. She stated that she went to their spare bedroom, and he followed, standing outside the door. Macfarlane told him she would be sleeping in the room and that he needed to leave her alone. The couple continued to argue because Garner did not want Macfarlane to sleep in the room with his work things. 21-year-old Jatoria Sawyers had a domestic dispute with her girlfriend, Timisha Lawrence, at the apartments on East Nocturne Drive early December 31st. Officers arrived and observed the living space in disarray as Lawrence advised them that she woke up to messages from Sawyers accusing her of messaging another woman. Lawrence went to the bathroom, and then Sawyers barged in yelling, grabbed a bottle of Mousse, and threw it at her forehead. Lawrence exited the bathroom and went to the bedroom to diffuse the situation. Sawyers then picked up a glass bottle and hit Lawrence on the head with it. Officers observed a bloody patch on Lawrence’s head. Jatoria Sawyers was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Richard Grams drunk and disorderly at Hilton Nashville Airport

56-year-old Richard Grams was causing a disturbance at the Hilton Nashville Airport Hotel late January 3rd. Grams was being disorderly in the hotel lobby, visibly intoxicated, as officers told him he could either go to the hospital or go to jail. He refused medical treatment but was unable to take care of himself or provide an answer to whether someone would be able to care for him. When they tried to detain Grams, he pulled his arms away from them repeatedly, so they had to bring him to the ground in a controlled manner. Richard Grams was taken into custody for resisting arrest and public intoxication.

Tourist William McGuane jailed after fight at Kid Rock’s Bar in downtown Nashville

51-year-old tourist William McGuane was jailed late December 30th after fighting at Kid Rock’s Bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville. Security staff say they separated all involved parties, and McGuane continued to be confrontational with security. Officers arrived to find him detained and took him into custody. Officers also noted he attempted to fight officers while he was handcuffed.

Mahdi Abbas drunkenly assaults neighbor with bible for no reason

32-year-old Mahdi Abbas had an altercation with his neighbor, Tommie Pearson, at the apartments on Lester Avenue in the early hours of December 30th. Pearson reported that a loud banging on his door woke him up, and when he opened it, Abbas confronted him, shouting angrily. He said he didn’t know why Abbas was upset and closed the door. Then, shortly after, Abbas banged on the door again and threw a bible at Pearson’s head once Pearson opened the door. Pearson said his face was sore but uninjured and refused medical assistance. Pearson noted that Abbas had acted like this towards other residents in the building before and was frightened at the possibility of a further assault, so he called the police. Officers spoke with both parties when they arrived and observed Abbas to be visibly intoxicated. They were unable to get a clear statement from him regarding the incident. Pearson advised that he wished to prosecute, and Mahdi Abbas was taken into custody for assault.
