Colton Crawford drunkenly yells at officers, argues with family

27-year-old Colton Crawford was yelling at his family members in the late hours of November 11th in the middle of the intersection on Representative John Lewis Way. Crawford complied as officers asked him to exit the intersection, but he continued arguing with his family. Officers attempted to separate Crawford from the rest of the group, but he insisted on yelling at them. Officers chose to take Crawford into custody as he was visibly intoxicated and would potentially escalate the situation if he was allowed to continue arguing. Crawford was then charged with disorderly conduct.

Man says Filip Cukic brutally beat him in downtown Nashville

23-year-old Murfreesboro man Filip Cukic and another man were in a verbal altercation with a third person near 3rd & Broadway just before 3 a.m. Saturday. Officers are flagged down as the altercation turned physical. Corbin Felts and Nathaniel O’Neill both witnessed the escalating fight, as the pair began to brutally beat the victim, Eugene Buckley. The two witnesses pulled the two assailants away from the victim as they punched and kicked him in the head. The victim, who had a major injury to his face, stated he had confronted two men who were harassing a woman, and they brutally attacked him. The victim declined to press charges, and Filip was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct.

Luis Aguilar-Mejia brutally assaults citizen in downtown Nashville

Gary Verrill jailed after urinating in parking lot in downtown Nashville

28-year-old Gary Verrill was jailed late Friday night after police observed him urinating in the middle of a parking lot near 4th & Broadway in downtown Nashville. He finished his business and was walking away when police intercepted him at 11:10 p.m. Verrill told officers, “Because no one was around, that makes it ok.” It was explained it was still a crime and that, combined with his level of intoxication, would land him in jail for the night.

Andy Rein jailed after being deemed too drunk for downtown Nashville

41-year-old Andrew Rein was jailed early Thursday morning after he was found yelling about nothing in particular while sprawled out on the middle lane of 4th Ave North near Commerce Street in downtown Nashville. He was visibly intoxicated and was unable to care for himself. He was generally confused and angered at the presence of police. He was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Patrick Glenn McFarland – Too drunk to fly at Nashville International Airport

31-year-old Patrick Glenn McFarland was impaired at the Nashville International Airport on November 8 as deputies were dispatched to assist him. Officers observed McFarland to be visibly intoxicated as he advised them that he had been drinking and insisted that he was in Cleveland or Kansas City. McFarland was informed that he had missed his flight, and officers helped him rebook a flight and escorted him to get a taxi. Officers noticed McFarland was on the unsecured side of security, and when they approached him, he still was unaware of his whereabouts and could not communicate properly. McFarland was taken into custody for public intoxication.

John Matt Blair smashes girlfriend’s iPhone on nightstand

35-year-old John Matt Blair was involved in a domestic disturbance with his girlfriend, Courvoisier Edwards, on Denson Avenue in the early hours of November 8th. Edwards spoke with officers as they arrived and advised them that she and Blair were in a scuffle when he grabbed her iPhone 13 and smashed it against their nightstand. Blair admitted to officers that he broke her phone and was taken into custody for vandalism.

Devin Gardner drives carelessly; charged with possession

20-year-old Devin Gardner was found carelessly driving on the road by local law enforcement on October 12. When officers made contact with Gardner, they smelt a strong odor of marijuana. Gardner told them that he had smoked in the vehicle the night prior. This statement was probable cause to search Gardner’s car. Officers found a plastic bag full of marijuana as well as a joint rolling tool, scale, and tray with marijuana residue on it, which Gardner also admitted was his. Gardner was taken into custody and charged with possession of controlled substance.

Leslie Glasgow spends $700 on roommate’s credit card, “You said I could I buy cigarettes”

60-year-old Leslie Glasgow reportedly used her roommate, James Redicker’s, credit card without his permission for transactions dating between October 26th and November 2nd. Officers were dispatched to Lester Ave. on November 3rd regarding a domestic report and spoke with Redicker as they arrived. Redicker advised officers that he was transported to a Mental Health facility on October 26th, left his wallet at his apartment, and came back to $794.00 worth of purchases made with his card. He stated that when he asked Glasgow about it, she replied, “You said I could buy cigarettes.” Redicker called the customer helpline for his credit card as the officers listened to them list off the unauthorized purchases. Officers spoke with Glasgow, who provided receipts correlating with the purchases that the helpline listed and admitted to using Redicker’s card for them. Glasgow was taken into custody for fraudulent use of a credit card on November 4th.
