Jordana Vander Eyk booked after failing to appear in court for expired registration

24-year-old Jordana Louise Vander Eyk drove her Nissan Rogue with expired tags on Highway 100 near Collins Drive on May 3rd, 2023. Officers observed this and conducted a traffic stop. During the stop officers discovered that Vander Eyk had a 30-day residency license issued to her in 2021. Then, officers cited Vander Eyk for the incident. She did not pay the fine or appear in court by June 23rd, 2023. So, a warrant was issued for Vander Eyk’s arrest. Vander Eyk was booked on the citations of expired registration and failing to update her address with the state from 2021-2024 on March 28th.

Devanne Burnett breaks into ex-boyfriend’s home, assaults him during dispute

28-year-old Devanne Burnett had a domestic incident with her ex-boyfriend, Carlos Hall, at his Hickory Manor apartment on Hamilton Church Road in the early hours of February 16th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Hall, who stated he was asleep when Burnett parked outside his building, honked her car horn and started texting him to come outside to talk with her. Hall repeatedly refused via text, which was when Burnett came to his door, knocking loudly for several minutes. Hall then opened his door to stop his neighbors from waking up. After he answered the door, Burnett started yelling and entered his unit without consent. Hall stated Burnett began to strike him in the face with a closed fist. Hall and the witness, Ms. Ghoulston, told her multiple times that she could not enter their home. Hall said that Ghoulston called the police, and Burnett fled the scene. Hall did not have any visible injuries. Officers reviewed camera footage, which showed Burnett yelling at Hall, pushing his door open, entering his home, and lunging toward him. Burnett was taken into custody for aggravated burglary on March 25th.

Fiona Rust pulls mother’s hair, assaults aunt during altercation

24-year-old Fiona Rust had a domestic altercation with her mother, Kelly Hoskins, and her aunt at a Stafford Drive Residence on March 21st. Officers arrived and then spoke with Hoskins, who stated that Rust attacked her after a verbal argument that led to them pulling each other’s hair. Hoskins added that Rust dug her fingernail into her left ear, causing it to bleed. Officers observed that Hoskins had missing hair and blood coming from her ear. Then, her aunt said she tried to separate them, during which Rust pushed her. Rust’s aunt told officers that Rust and Hoskins have a history of domestic disputes. Officers verified this via bond conditions from a previous incident in August 2023. Rust was deemed as the primary aggressor and then was placed into custody for domestic assault.

Brandon Ramirez threatens step-siblings with gun during family argument

19-year-old Brandon Ramirez was seen threatening his step-siblings at his father’s Sunshine Court residence on March 25th. When officers arrived at the mentioned location, they contacted Ramirez’s step-siblings. They stated that their stepfather was arguing with their mother, and he started to get aggressive. In fear for their mother’s safety, they began to throw punches at their stepfather. Ramierez, seeing this, went upstairs and returned with a pistol. After pointing the gun at his step-siblings, he told them to get out of the house. Later, officers made contact with Ramirez’s father. He stated that he and his wife got into an argument, and her children got involved. Ramirez’s father added that his stepkids were attempting to assault him. While dealing with that situation, he saw Ramirez making his way upstairs. Once Ramirez was back downstairs, he pointed the pistol at his step-siblings and told them to get out. Shortly after, officers made contact with Ramirez. Ramirez stated that he saw his step-siblings getting aggressive with his father, who was talking about kicking them and their mom out. His step-siblings began to assault his father, so he went upstairs and grabbed his gun. Ramirez came downstairs, started banging the gun on the wall, and told them to leave. He also informed law enforcement that the pistol was not loaded and that he only grabbed it to scare them. However, Brandon Ramirez was still taken into custody and charged with two counts of aggravated assault.

Thomas Turner Jr. assaults girlfriend, breaks her windshield during dispute over Instagram comment

21-year-old Thomas Turner Jr. had a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Kiyona Browne, at his mother’s Richards Road residence on March 24th. Browne was at the Walgreens on Antioch Pike when she alerted the authorities. When officers arrived, she explained that she and Turner Jr. had argued over a social media post that she felt was disrespectful to their relationship. Then, after a while, Browne decided to leave because she had to take her niece somewhere the next day. However, she could not leave because Turner Jr. still had her key fob. Browne said she still went out to her car and locked the door, but Turner Jr. followed her outside, unlocked the door, and got in the backseat. While in the backseat, he started punching the interior of the car, causing injury to his hands. Browne took Turner Jr. back inside so they could clean up the injuries and he could calm down, which he did. Shortly after, Turner Jr. became angry again, and when Browne got her key fob and returned to her car, he followed her again. Turner Jr. got into the passenger seat before Browne could lock the car. Then, Browne told him to get out repeatedly, but he refused, asking if she was going to cheat on him. When Browne did not reply, Turner Jr. threw his phone at the windshield, leaving a crack. Browne said he kept pulling her back in when she tried to exit the vehicle. When Browne got out to walk away, Turner Jr. kept trying to block her from leaving, grabbed her arm, and pulled her towards the car. When they returned to the car, Browne got inside and locked Turner Jr. out of it. Turner Jr. kicked Browne’s car as she drove away to Walgreens, where she called the police. Officers observed the cracked windshield and blood inside the car. Officers contacted Turner Jr., who agreed to speak with them at his mother’s apartment. When officers arrived, he told them that his injuries were not caused by Browne, adding that she never assaulted him. Then, Turner Jr. admitted to throwing his phone at the windshield and cracking it. Officers went to detain him, but he attempted to flee and resist. Turner Jr. was transported to General Hospital for medical treatment to his hands and was later taken into custody for domestic assault, vandalism, resisting arrest, and false imprisonment on March 25th.

David Zamojski shoots ex-girlfriend with BB gun during altercation, gets tased in return

35-year-old David Zamojski was involved in a domestic altercation with his ex-girlfriend, Taylor Elliott, at his Lenox Creekside Drive apartment on March 24th. When officers arrived at the mentioned location, they contacted Zamojski. Zamojski told them Elliott showed up at his apartment and started an altercation. He added that Elliot pushed her way into the apartment and tried to shock him with a cattle prod-like taser. Zamojski did not have any visible injuries. Officers noticed that a neighbor across the hall had a Ring doorbell camera. While watching the footage, officers saw Zamojski screaming at Elliott to leave. Elliott responded by saying that Zamojski “fucked with her family.” After leaving the apartment, Elliott asked Zamojski for her keys, but he told her he didn’t have them. Once Elliott told him that she would wait, Zamojski went inside, came back out, and threw her keys down the stairs. Zamojski returned inside, grabbed two dumbbells, and threw them at Elliott’s feet. Elliott proceeded to tell Zamojski to give her BB gun back as well. After entering his apartment a third time, Zamojski came back outside with what looked like a black handgun pointed at Elliott. Elliott said, “Do it,” and Zamojski pulled the trigger, effectively shooting her in the leg with a BB. Zamojski then tossed the BB gun at Elliott’s feet. Elliott retaliated by rushing him with a taser. Zamojski attempted to grab it but failed and ended up backing into a door. After recovering, Zamojski grabbed a broom and stuck Elliott in the face with the handle. This led to a fight inside the apartment where the taser could be heard sparking 4-5 times. Elliott was seen leaving the apartment and kicking her belongings down the stairs. Zamojski exited the apartment and followed her down the stairs, asking, “What is wrong with you?” Elliott left the scene before the officers’ arrival. David Zamojski was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.

DUI: Joshua Martin nearly hits two pedestrians after drinking “two beers” before driving

35-year-old Joshua Henry Martin drove through a red light and almost struck two pedestrians near the 3rd Avenue North and Broadway intersection in the early hours of March 24th. An APS Security employee, William Fenton, observed this, demanded Martin to stop, and notified officers. Officers told Martin to turn off and exit his vehicle when they arrived. Officers then asked if he had been drinking, to which Martin admitted to having “two beers,” adding he was on his way home. He consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, and then refused to provide a sample after being explained implied consent. Martin was taken into custody for driving under the influence and implied consent.

Stanley Tallman attempts to fight random bystanders outside of Wild Beaver Saloon

40-year-old Stanley Tallman was disorderly at Wild Beaver Saloon on Commerce Street in the early hours of March 25th. When officers arrived, security for the establishment advised them that Tallman was outside trying to pick fights with random people. Security stated that when they approached him, he reeked of alcohol. They explained that they told Tallman to leave several times, but he refused, causing a disturbance. Officers asked Tallman if he had a place he could go to, but he gave blank responses to them. Officers deemed him a danger to himself and others, so they detained him. Tallman was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Zelmon Hause steals $260 gray Ksubi pants by wearing them under his pajamas at Nordstrom

22-year-old Zelmon Hause, Cornell Jamaine Robinson, and an unknown individual assisted each other in shoplifting from Nordstrom on Abbott Martin Road on the afternoon of March 23rd. Hause was observed on camera picking up $260.00 gray Ksubi pants and walking into the fitting room. Hause then put the pants on underneath the pajamas he entered the store with and left the fitting room. While inside the loss prevention office, Hause admitted to concealing the pants and having no intention of paying for them. Hause was taken into custody for theft.

Cornell Robinson assaults Nordstrom employee after being confronted for shoplifting

21-year-old Cornell Jamaine Robinson, Zelmon Hause, and an unknown individual assisted each other in shoplifting from Nordstrom on Abbott Martin Road on the afternoon of March 23rd. Randy Paul Brown, an employee, observed this and confronted Robinson, who became irate and shoved him. Robinson was then detained and searched. During the search, officers located a white pill that was cut, divided, and crushed into several pieces that Robinson claimed was Xanax under Miranda. Since Robinson was not a resident of Tennessee, he was taken into custody for assault and simple possession.
