Baca Cayetano strangles wife after she tries escaping him via their outhouse bathroom

43-year-old Baca Aguirre Cayetano was involved in a domestic dispute with his wife, Yazmin Rivera, at their Garwood Drive residence in the early hours of May 19th. When the officers arrived, they spoke with Rivera, who stated that Cayetano had come home from a party and got in her face arguing with her. Rivera stated he then began pushing her and grabbing her wrist. Then, she said she convinced Cayetano to let her use their outhouse bathroom, where she snuck out the window, trying to run for safety. Rivera stated this was when Cayetano dragged her back into the house. Rivera said he threw her onto the bed and started yelling at her while he strangled her. She sustained visible injuries on her arms from the incident. Cayetano was taken into custody for domestic assault on May 20th.

Canceled: Morgan Wallen’s bar can’t open — no beer permit granted

Fans of Morgan Wallen will have to wait even longer to drink at his new “This Bar and Tennessee Kitchen,” which was scheduled to open during this Memorial Day Weekend in downtown Nashville. Though the social media for the bar was still advertising the grand opening as of Friday afternoon, a representative from the restaurant group confirmed to Scoop: Nashville an opening would not happen. In recent weeks, the Nashville Beer Board denied both a catering permit and a temporary permit for the location, as Fire & Codes had also not issued any approvals. In addition to the loss of their sign, which was not approved by Metro Council, it’s been a rocky start for the chair-throwing musician. Approval of permits from multiple departments could delay the opening by several more weeks.

Sade Griffin throws water bottle at boyfriend, during altercation about him moving out

35-year-old Sade Griffin had a domestic altercation with her boyfriend, Brandon Humphrey, at their Dellway Villa Road home on the night of May 17th. Humphrey told responding officers that when Griffin returned to the residence after being “out all day,” Griffin randomly “snapped” at him, telling him he needed to move out. He said she threw multiple items at him, including an aluminum water bottle, leaving a small cut on the left side of his face near his ear. Then, Humphrey said Griffin called an unknown friend over, who arrived, telling him to leave before pointing a gun in his face and fleeing. When officers spoke with Griffin, she corroborated that she was trying to get Humphrey to move out and threw a water bottle, but not in his direction. Then, she admitted having a friend come over to tell him to leave. However, Griffin said her friend never aimed a gun at Humphrey. Griffin was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Jaylin Woods breaks into ex-girlfriend’s home after she breaks up with him.

19-year-old Jaylin Martese Woods was taken into custody for aggravated assault and aggravated burglary on May 21st. On May 18th, deputies were called to a Brentwood Oaks Drive apartment, where they spoke with the residents, Woods’ ex-girlfriend, Olivia Grasman, Kenzie Trojan, and an unidentified juvenile male, who were involved in the incident. Grasman advised them that she had broken up with Woods earlier that morning and that he showed up at her residence with two of his friends, “Vel” and an unknown male, causing a disturbance. The men banged loudly on the door before kicking it in and taking it off the hinges, causing Grasman to fall onto the ground. When Woods was inside their unit, he started chasing after the juvenile male, who told officers that while he held the bathroom door shut, Woods punched a hole through it. As Woods did this, he attempted to strike the juvenile male, leaving a scrape on his left arm. Then, Grasman said, “Vel,” and Woods reentered the living room, refusing to leave, so she punched Woods in the head. Woods immediately responded by slapping her in the face, which knocked her to the ground. Woods then punched her as she tried to stand up. Trojan told the police that she picked up a piece of the wooden doorframe and chased Woods out of their home, trying to hit him. However, Woods took the wooden piece from Trojan and started hitting her repeatedly on her head and face, which she was bleeding from. Then, a witness, Julio Guzman, stated he overheard the sounds of Woods breaking into the apartment and observed him hitting Trojan outside in the apartment lot. A warrant was issued for Woods’ arrest, and he was later detained for the occurrence.

Bianca Rogers booked after threatening man’s life via text messages

34-year-old Bianca Rogers was taken into custody for stalking on May 24th, 2024. On May 23rd, 2024, Thomas Sweeney advised officers that between August 2nd, 2023, and November 16th, 2023, Bianca Rogers sent text messages to his phone. In these messages, Bianca threatened his life, which frightened him. Additionally, Bianca was involved with Brianna Rogers, who also sent Sweeney messages, threatening bodily harm to his two minor children and their mother on August 2nd, 2023. A warrant was issued for Bianca’s arrest, and she was later detained for the incident.

Terence Liff bangs on neighbor’s door, keys his truck in the middle of the night

47-year-old Terence Liff caused a disturbance at his neighbor, Taylor Limsky’s, Horner Avenue residence late on May 23rd. Limsky spoke with responding officers, telling them that Liff started banging on his door and mumbling incoherently. Then, Limsky said Liff went outside and keyed his truck, resulting in over $2,500 in damage. Officers went to Liff’s residence, where Liff’s brother answered the door. Liff’s brother then helped officers reach him. Officers tried to detain Liff, during which he became resistive, so they had to perform a “controlled takedown” to arrest him. Liff was taken into custody for vandalism on May 24th.

Amari Christian steals ex-girlfriend’s Chevy Malibu after she drops him off at Super 8 Motel

19-year-old Amari Orlando Christian stole his ex-girlfriend Raeanna Jackson’s silver Chevy Malibu near the Murfreesboro Pike Super 8 on April 13th. On May 10th, Jackson called the police, advising them she gave Christian a ride. However, when they got close to where Christian wanted to be dropped off, she parked down the road at a Super 8 motel parking lot for her safety. Then, Jackson stated Christian had become irate, grabbed the keys from the ignition, and exited the car. Christian then pulled Jackson from the driver’s seat onto the ground by her hair before leaving in her vehicle. A warrant was issued for his arrest that day. Christian was later taken into custody for carjacking on May 23rd.

Britt Libera punches girlfriend in face during altercation at Wendell Smith’s Liquors

41-year-old Britt Libera had a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Amanda Neisz, at Wendell Smith’s Liquors on Charlotte Pike late May 22nd. When officers arrived, they spoke with Neisz, who stated that Libera had become upset after an argument. Neisz stated Libera punched her on the back of her neck and in her face, leaving cuts on her nose and above her right eyebrow. Then, officers tried to speak with Libera, but he did not say anything to them. Libera was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault on May 23rd.

Keshay Lewis jailed after stealing $40 pair of shoes from Fifty East Shoes in 2019

23-year-old Keshay Lewis and Armoni Eddings stole merchandise from Fifty East Shoes in Opry Mills Mall on May 22nd, 2019. On July 24th, 2019, Emily Summers, an employee at the establishment who observed the incident, advised officers that Lewis and Eddings left the store without paying for a $40 pair of shoes. A warrant was issued for her arrest. Then, Lewis was taken into custody for theft on May 23rd, 2024.

Breanna Morrison jailed after mother tells man she’s stalking him

24-year-old Breanna Morrison was taken into custody for stalking on May 23rd. On March 24th, Corey Jordan called authorities to Amalie Meadows, where he advised them that he and Morrison had only hung out to have sex. Jordan added that before contacting the police, Breanna’s Mother, “Queen,” texted him regarding her concern for him due to Morrison’s behavior. This is when she informed Jordan that Breanna was stalking him and sent him screenshots of their text thread, which included pictures of his residence and vehicles. Jordan said he called Breanna attempting to address her actions, but she wanted to come over to retrieve her undergarments. When Jordan told Breanna not to show up, he did not realize she was already sitting outside of his home. A warrant was issued for her arrest and she was later detained for the occurrence.
