28-year-old Darwin Alvarado was jailed Saturday morning after punching a woman in the face on Baby Ruth Lane. Yandery Lindinger told police that Alvarado arrived at the apartment, and they got into an argument about the apartment about the cleanliness of the apartment. The argument escalated when Alvarado punched Lindinger in the chest and the face. Police observed a red and swollen lip. Erlinda Lindinger was a witness to the incident.

Judah Todd’s acid trip sidetracked by Metro Nashville Police

19-year-old Judah Todd was found mid-morning Tuesday wandering the streets of North Nashville near Rowan & Revels Drive. Metro Police responded to the area after neighbors reported a ‘suspicious person’ walking in the roadway. He was talking to himself and acting erratically, according to first responders. The more they spoke to him, the more he walked in the roadway and ignored them. Officers eventually coaxed him into the back of a patrol car to keep him safe until medical arrived. When asked about his behavior, he disclosed he was tripping on ‘acid’/LSD. He refused all medical treatment multiple times and was eventually transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

Chad Banks says girlfriend must have “tripped over his boot” — says he didn’t assault her

37-year-old tourist Chad Banks was jailed after beating up his girlfriend on Friday night at the Holiday Inn Express. Haley Anderson tells police that she and Banks got into an argument when she wanted to leave the bar and return to their hotel room. Banks pushed her to the ground outside the bar, and she busted her lip when she fell. She stated that when she was pushed outside the bar, she returned to the hotel room, and Chad followed her. Anderson told police, “It got physical.” but wouldn’t go further into detail because she did not want him to get in trouble. Officers observed Anderson’s busted lip as well as blood on the floor and on a towel in the bathroom. Chad was outside hiding behind his black diesel ford truck. when police approached him. During the investigation, Chad was extremely intoxicated, slurring his speech, ad unsteady on his feet. Chad told police that he did not touch Haley and that she tripped over his boot and fell onto the table.

DUI: Michael McDowell crashes into utility pole; tells police another car hit him

When Metro Nashville police responded to a vehicle accident on Woodland St in the early hours of Saturday morning, 42-year-old Michael McDowell explained that a car pulled out in front of him, causing him to crash and his airbags to deploy. He says the car then fled the scene. Officers quickly noticed a debris field from his wrecked vehicle going back to a utility pole that had been crashed into. It was determined he hit the pole, and no other vehicle was involved. He admitted to drinking prior to driving and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. He refused a breathalyzer and was taken into custody.

Emily Hamilton attacks boyfriend when he refuses to take her to strip club

24-year-old Emily Hamilton was jailed after attacking her boyfriend during the ride home on March 24. On I-24, police responded to a possible car accident, but when they arrived, her boyfriend, David Slater, advised that she was just changing a flat tire. Emily was banging on the window from inside the car and was put in the ambulance to be medically examined and to check on her welfare. Slater told police that he and Hamilton were driving back from a karaoke bar downtown. She became very drunk at the bar and then wanted to go to a strip club, but Slater told her he wasn’t going to take her, so they got into an argument, and Hamilton became aggressive and started attacking him. There were visible scratch marks on his neck. When officers questioned Hamilton, she was so drunk all she could remember was being at the bar, crashing, and then being in the ambulance.

Roy Matlock Jr saves son, Harrison Matlock, from DUI after hit & run crash

Metro Nashville Police say 25-year-old Harrison Matlock drove his silver Lexus Coupe into another vehicle that was stopped at a traffic light on Nolensville pike coming from 440 East late Monday night. Matlock fled the scene and drove toward his residence on Carter Street. The victim, Showan Ibrahim, followed Matlock and pulled in behind him at his apartment complex. They had a brief interaction until the victim stated he was going to contact the police, causing Matlock to flee into his apartment. The victim, who still had Matlock’s ID from the interaction, stated that Matlock appeared extremely intoxicated. Officers arrived and were unable to locate Matlock by that time, but they did locate a phone number for him.

His father, Nashville financial radio host Roy Matlock, Jr., and TerraWealth Founder, answered the phone call and claimed his son feared for his safety, so he picked him up. When they stated his son needed to return to the scene, Roy refused, stating they were not actual police officers. Officers searched the abandoned vehicle and located an open alcoholic beverage in the front and a partial case of alcoholic beverages in the back. Multiple warrants were issued for Matlock’s arrest, and he was booked on them a day later. He was not charged with DUI due to not being on the scene and being rescued by his father, who refused to return him to the scene.

Timothy Stanfield, 56, charged in rape and sexual battery of minor

56-year-old Timothy Stanfield was jailed this week on an outstanding warrant from June 2022, charging him with the rape and sexual battery of a minor. The 17-year-old victim disclosed that she’s been living with Stanfield since she was 12 years old, and that’s when he started touching her over her clothing on her private parts. The Juvenile disclosed that she had been raped by Stanfield since she was 13 and that he had penetrated her more than once. The victim is now 17 and disclosed that Stanfield came home earlier on the day of the report and inserted his fingers inside her. When Stanfield saw her on the phone, he told her she better not tell anyone what he was doing because he would go to jail for the rest of his life and run out the back door.

Andrew Rainey charged with disorderly conduct after childish temper tantrum

18-year-old Andrew Rainey was jailed early Sunday morning after becoming aggressive with police when he was told to leave someone’s property on Hampton Court. Lee’a Garnett told Rainey that he could only come back to her house to grab all of his belongings at once and wasn’t to return. He told Lee’a that he had a truck to get all of his things, but when he got there, he was on foot and ended up throwing things into the yard and cursing her out. Lee’a said this behavior went on for hours. When police arrived, they told Rainey to grab his things and leave the property, and that’s when he became aggressive and slammed a box on the ground in Infront of onlookers. He was taken to booking.

Richard Deeb to TSA: “bend over and cough!”

41-year-old Richard Deeb was at the TSA Security Checkpoint at the Nashville International Airport late Sunday afternoon when he was denied boarding by American Airlines due to his level of intoxication. At the checkpoint, he was screaming, “bend over and cough!” and creating a disturbance for other passengers. He was offered the opportunity to rebook his flight for the next day but refused. He also refused any arranged rides to a hotel but stated he wasn’t leaving the airport. Leave, he did, in handcuffs, charged with public intoxication.

DUIL: Cielo Sweatt tosses beer cans out of car after crash

Police say 22-year-old Cielo Sweatt crashed her blue Chrysler 300 on Harding Place Sunday evening. Officers were told she might be trying to flee the scene and had pulled into the gas station nearby, where she was located. Store employees told police she had pulled up and tossed beer cans out of her car, which was captured on video. She told officers she had not consumed any alcohol, despite reeking of it. She was taken into custody and charged with DUI.
