26-year-old Jimeco Lightbourne had a domestic incident with his girlfriend, Shabrell Francis, at her Picadilly Row apartment around 7 p.m. on May 2nd. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Francis, who stated she and Lightbourne argued over their past relationships, during which she started yelling at him, causing him to become angry, grabbing her, and throwing her around the bedroom. He pushed her against the glass closet door and table, knocking it over onto her before shoving her against the window and pulling the curtains down to the bed. Francis added that he smacked her multiple times and punched her one time on the right side of her face. When officers spoke with Lightbourne, he stated Francis initiated the argument by poking him in the face and smacking him on the chest while they were riding home. He said she continued hitting him, and then he admitted to smacking her and throwing her around the apartment. Lightbourne was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.
Jimeco Lightborne was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on May 2nd, charged with domestic assault. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,500.
