Richard Douglas violates conditions of release after refusing to leave his mother’s house

50-year-old Richard Douglas was seen violating his conditions of release on May 6th near Packard Drive. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Peggy Jackson, his mother, who stated that he was not supposed to be there and that she had an order of protection against Douglas. Jackson also claimed that he would not leave and that Douglass had already been served. Officers took Douglas into custody, and he was charged with a restraining order violation.

Paul Clarke bites ex-girlfriend on neck during argument, tells her “I feel like I want to kill you”

32-year-old Paul Clarke had a domestic incident with his ex-girlfriend, Tahirah Hensley, at her Wallace Road apartment around 6:10 p.m. on May 4th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Hensley, who stated that she and Clarke had an altercation over their two children. During the argument, he grabbed her left hand and pulled her off the couch, leaving bruising. Then, Hensley said they started yelling at each other, and Clarke “bearhugged” her, squeezing tightly. Hensley said she bit him on the left side of his chest, trying to get away, and he responded by biting her on the left side of her throat, leaving a visible bite mark. Hensley stated he let her go, and she went to her bedroom, where Clarke followed her. When he entered the bedroom, Hensley grabbed a plastic coat hanger and continued arguing until Clarke “bearhugged” her again, forcing her to scratch his arm with the hanger. Hensley said that before the incident, Clarke had told her, “I feel like I want to kill you,” before saying he was just joking. Clarke provided a similar statement to Hensley, advising officers that he was just frustrated and did not mean what he said. Clarke was deemed the primary aggressor and then was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Oscar Avila taken to the ground by police after kicking cousin in stomach

21-year-old Oscar Avila was involved in a domestic incident with his cousin Susan Garcia-Myorga at a Piccadilly Row apartment residence. When police officers arrived, they spoke with Garcia, who was standing outside of the apartment crying hysterically. She stated that Avila had bitten her on the arm and kicked her in the stomach. Garcia was then transported to the hospital for her stomach pain. Officers made contact with Avila and observed another man on top of a bed holding him down. Officers noticed Avila was intoxicated and crying. As officers were escorting Avila to the police vehicle, he tried to pull away and was restrained on the ground. Avila was then taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.

Israel Ayala-Roman calls officers “F*ggots”, tells them to take his cuffs off to fight him

39-year-old Israel Ayala-Roman was one of many individuals drinking beer, standing outside Klean Kutz Barbershop and Linbar Laundromat on Linbar Drive around 4:00 p.m. on March 31st. Officers observed this and told the individuals to leave the location. Ayala-Roman stood up, almost fell over, then bent over to pick up a box of beer, which officers told him not to. Officers noticed Ayala-Roman was visibly impaired and reeked of alcohol as he tried to walk away, so they asked him for his identification. Then, he stopped, shook his head, walked into the business, and sat in a seat, refusing to provide his information. Officers had a Spanish-speaking officer tell Ayala-Roman to leave the location, but he still refused. Officers deemed him a danger to himself or others and detained him. While at booking, Ayala-Roman started yelling at officers, calling them “f*ggots” repeatedly and telling them to take his cuffs off to fight him. Ayala-Roman was taken into custody for criminal trespass, public intoxication, and disorderly conduct.

Jose Romero threatens man who owes him $3,000 with knife, demands they go to bank

24-year-old Jose Romero had an altercation with Nicolas Garcia-Perez at his Tusculum Road residence late March 23rd. Garcia-Perez spoke with officers when they arrived, advising that he owed Romero $3,000. Garcia-Perez advised that Romero showed up at his house with his girlfriend and mother and started to be verbally aggressive with him. Romero said he wanted Garcia-Perez to pay the money he owed him. Romero then pulled out a knife, demanding Garcia-Perez take him to the bank to get the money. Officers spoke with a witness, who stated they observed Romero pulling out the knife and throwing it in the back of Garcia-Perez’s car when he heard that the police were on the way. Garcia-Perez told them where it was, and officers found the 8-inch kitchen knife. Romero was taken into custody for aggravated assault on March 24th.

Luther Hatten calls Brookridge employee a “N*gger” for not letting him use cell phone

27-year-old Luther Hatten caused a disturbance at Brookridge on the afternoon of March 18th. James Houston Stevenson called the police, advising them that Hatten was trespassing and refusing to leave. Stevenson further explained that Hatten came into the office asking to use a cell phone, which he declined, then asked him to leave. Hatten, however, refused to leave and called him a “N*gger” repeatedly, staying on the premises even after he alerted the authorities. When officers arrived, they located Hatten, who was visibly upset and yelling outside the office, refusing to answer questions. Officers noticed he was highly intoxicated and became angrier as they asked him about the incident. Hatten was taken into custody for criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, and public intoxication. While being transported to booking, Hatten started kicking the window, roof, and door of the patrol car, causing damage to the camera mount, so he was additionally charged with vandalism.
