Chattanooga teen Everett Driver uses fake ID at Jason Aldean’s; tosses dink from the rooftop

18-year-old Everett Driver from Chattanooga threw a cup of ice from the rooftop of Jason Aldean’s Bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville, according to police who were working in the district late Friday night. The cup nearly struck an officer on the ground. Security identified Driver as the person who threw the cup using recorded video. Upon identifying Driver, it was discovered he was only 18 years old and had two fake TN IDs in his possession, each with different birthdays, making him over the age of 21.

Kimberly Fields too drunk and disorderly for Top Golf

45-year-old Kimberly Fields was annoying patrons at the Top Golf on Cowen Street on December 7th. A witness advised officers that before they arrived, Fields was sitting on the “ball coffin,” that machine that distributes golf balls to players, initially refusing to get off it when staff members asked her to. Fields eventually got off the machine and headed to the bar area. There, she ordered a meal with an alcoholic beverage but complained loudly about the service. The food servers promptly cut her off from further orders of alcoholic beverages. However, Fields brought her own and consumed it. Fields then pushed Todd McCann, another witness, while yelling and recording the incident. Top Golf staff members asked her to leave repeatedly, and she refused. Officers arrived and spoke with the staff members and Fields. They asked Fields to leave, but she did not comply, so they detained her. Officers observed her to be visibly intoxicated, and Top Golf staff did not wish to prosecute. Fields was taken into custody for disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and criminal trespassing.

Shawn Lockhart ignores federal marshals, charged with criminal trespassing

44-year-old Shawn Lockhart was at the federal courthouse on November 8th, where federal marshals detained him for being unruly. Lockhart arrived at the courthouse seeking authorities regarding a federal case but refused to cooperate with them regarding going through the security checkpoint. Lockhart then attempted to walk through the metal detector without being searched and was restrained by marshals and put into handcuffs. When officers arrived, Lockhart also refused to cooperate with them. Lockhart was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing.

Nathan Rich told police he would fight them rather than be arrested

46-year-old Nathan Rich was aggressive, refusing to get out of the roadway of Murfreesboro Pike on December 5th. Officers arrived and asked Rich to leave the road again, but he insisted on not leaving the street. Rich advised officers that he would fight before he got arrested, so they detained him. He actively resisted, kicking and tensing his muscles, refusing to put his hands behind his back. While conducting a search, officers located a glass pipe containing a white powdery substance. Rich was taken into custody for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Christopher Murphy charged with drunk and disorderly in downtown Nashville

24-year-old Christopher Murphy was disorderly in Downtown Nashville this past weekend. Officers were flagged down by security at Kid Rock’s bar regarding a female, accompanied by Murphy, who was bleeding from the head. Murphy and the injured female were visibly intoxicated as medics were called due to the severity of the laceration. Officers attempted to render aid as they waited, but Murphy pushed Officer Ferrari’s arm away. Murphy was held away from the area where the female was being treated and told to stop interfering but would constantly attempt to get in the way, so he was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

Former NFL player Evan Mathis jailed after drunken incident at Blind Barber

42-year-old former NFL guard turned entrepreneur Evan Mathis was at the Blind Barber in the Gulch just before 1 a.m. Saturday, when staff called police to report he became disorderly, refused to leave the location, and pushed employees several times while making threats to “knock people out.” The 6’4”, 240 pounds, long-haired, and bearded former NFL player was immediately identified by police as they arrived, stating he was a “male, large in stature, compared to other individuals in the area.” The staff of the Blind Barner declined to press assault charges and only wanted Mathis to go home. He refused and would not tell officers where he lived or if anyone could retrieve him. He would only say, “I have many homes.” Mathis then reportedly closed the distance between himself and the officers and began to ball his fists. He then moved closer and poked officers in the chest while yelling. With no remaining options, Mathis was taken into custody and transported to booking. During the ride to jail, Mathis “expressed a roller coaster of extreme emotions from cursing at officers in anger, to crying, to laughing,” according to a report from police.  

Reached for comment Sunday, Mathis told Scoop: Nashville “he got too drunk” and apologized to all involved for taking up time and resources. He noted how cordial both the responding officers and the staff of Blind Barber were, acknowledging he was given every opportunity to avoid jail.

Toledo Tourist Antonio Cervantes swings at police after brawl at Kid Rock’s bar

25-year-old Antonio Robert Cervantes was involved in a fight at Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk on November 26th. Officers arrived, witnessed multiple individuals fighting, and tried to place Cervantes in handcuffs as they attempted to break up the fight. He began to run southbound on 3rd Avenue and tried to swing at officers as they were able to grab control of him and place him in custody. Cervantes was visibly intoxicated and determined a danger to himself, so he was charged with public intoxication, assault on an officer, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.

Bailie Sutter jailed after interfering with police when her boyfriend got into a fight in downtown Nashville. 

23-year-old Bailie Sutter and her boyfriend were outside of Kid Rock’s bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville early Sunday morning when her boyfriend became involved in a fight with other individuals. Officers arrived and attempted to separate everyone. Bailie was told to back away so the situation could be calmed, but she refused and pushed past police multiple times in an attempt to get to her boyfriend, who was being detained. Officers attempted to explain what was happening with her boyfriend, but she refused to listen and pushed past them again. She was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct.

Canadian Robert Farrington jailed after “poking” Nashville Firefighter in downtown Nashville

39-year-old Canadian Robert Farrington was “poking a firefighter” at Rippy’s bar in downtown Nashville late Saturday night, causing them to alert nearby police. The firefighter told officers that Farrington was previously fighting two other individuals as they approached him and ended the altercation. He continued to “poke” the firefighter and was extremely intoxicated throughout the interaction. Unable to provide information about his friends or hotel, he was taken into custody and transported to booking. He pulled away and became combative during his arrest and was additionally charged with resisting arrest.
