Jacqueline Mccowan pushes security guard at Elizabeth Duff Transit Center

57-year-old Jacqueline Michelle Mccowan pushed a security guard, Jonathon Cortez Henderson, at the Elizabeth Duff Transit Center at WeGo Central on Martin Luther King Boulevard in the late hours of January 31st. When officers arrived, Mccowan was yelling at the transit center’s security officers and getting in their faces. Officers tried to get her to stop, but she continued as she walked to another location employee. Mccowan began interfering with officers attempting to detain another individual in an unrelated incident. She was visibly intoxicated and deemed a danger to herself, so they detained her. Officers were told that Henderson attempted to get her to leave repeatedly and stop interfering with the police. Then, she walked up and pushed him, causing him to stumble backward. The incident was caught on camera, so officers reviewed it and were told that Henderson wanted to prosecute. Mccowan was taken into custody for assault, disorderly conduct, and public intoxication.

Avery Martin drunkenly yells at strangers after police tell him to go home

23-year-old Avery Shane Martin was being rowdy near 3rd Avenue South and Molloy Street late January 28th. Officers contacted Martin, whom they recognized from an incident earlier in the night, and attempted to get him to go home. After walking away from the officers, Martin immediately started yelling at a group of people nearby. Officers observed Martin to be visibly intoxicated and determined his aggressive behavior would continue, so they detained him. Martin was taken into custody for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Jacob Andrews drunkenly causes over $2,000 in damage at Mellow Mushroom

25-year-old Jacob Aaron Andrews was rowdy at the Mellow Mushroom in Downtown Nashville on January 28th. Security advised police that Andrews had become hostile over an argument about the band. Security then asked him to leave, which he refused. Andrews repeatedly attempted to pull away from security as they escorted him outside the establishment. Andrews slammed himself into the door during the scuffle, causing $2,000 in damage. Andrews also kicked over the business sign in front of the Mellow Mushroom, which cost $50 in damage. Andrews remained belligerent as security from a neighboring business assisted in detaining him. Officers observed him visibly inebriated, lunging at the Mellow Mushroom staff, and determined he was dangerous to himself and others. Andrews was taken into custody for public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and vandalism.

David Porter & friends fire guns into East Nashville neighborhood from minivan

19-year-old David Porter rode as a passenger in a blue Dodge Caravan suspected of having individuals shoot their firearms into the air near Joy Circle on December 28th. Officers located the blue Caravan and conducted a traffic stop on Edwin Street. Porter and the other occupants, Isaiah Foster, and Joshua Smith, were asked to exit the vehicle. Under Miranda, Porter claimed the silver Smith and Wesson pistol under his seat belonged to him and admitted to shooting it in the air. He was booked on the citations of disorderly conduct and weapon possession on January 24th.

Stephanie Manley urinates in men’s room at Kid Rock’s bar; slips handcuffs, resists arrest

41-year-old South Carolina tourist Stephanie Stone Manley urinated in the men’s restroom at Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk in the early hours of January 14th. The security at Kid Rock’s alerted the officers, and when they arrived, they spoke with Manley, who was still in the men’s restroom, refusing to leave. Manley became aggressive and started yelling at officers and security, walking towards them in a fighting stance. Officers escorted her out of the establishment and guided her to sit down outside, but she slipped her left hand out of the handcuffs. She was resistive and refused to put her hands behind her back, kicking at officers as they tried to detain her. Manley was taken into custody for criminal trespassing, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.

Kelsey Nolan jailed after fight in downtown Nashville

28-year-old Kelsey Nolan was involved in a fight outside Honky Tonk Central on Broadway in downtown Nashville early Sunday morning. Officers arrived and separated the two individuals, and neither wanted to press charges. Both were told to leave the area; however, Nolan began swinging her arms while yelling and confronting another person. Nolan was yelling that someone from that group had attacked her friend, and she was continuing to agitate a fight. She was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct.

“Where are my joints?” asks Roderick Frazier to Metro Nashville Police

26-year-old Roderick Frazier reportedly assaulted a woman and stole her iPhone, according to the victim and security staff at Luke’s 32 Bridge bar in downtown Nashville late Friday night. Security flagged down nearby officers, who attempted to detain Frazier for further investigation. He initially allowed a search of his bag, which quickly yielded a knife, but then became hostile and combative. As officers attempted to place him into handcuffs, he resisted and had to be taken to the ground, where he continued to resist. It took several officers to get him into a patrol car. A search incident to arrest revealed three marijuana joints in his backpack, which he specifically asked for several times on the way to booking.

Kaden Blanco fights security at Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk after allegedly attempting to use fake ID

22-year-old Kaden Blanco was jailed on January 11th after allegedly giving a fake ID at Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk. Officers were working at the door when Blanco handed them an Ohio driver’s license they believed to be fake. Blanco did not want to leave and informed officers that his ID was real and valid. The officer then touched Mr. Blanco’s elbow to motion him out of the establishment after he refused to leave, at which point he shoved the officers. The officer then began to fight with Blanco and scraped his knee in the process. With the help of the other security guards, the officer was able to detain Blanco until on-duty officers reported to the scene to begin their investigation. Kaden Blanco was taken into custody for assault and disorderly conduct.

Ryan McNeill jailed after urinating in front of Centennial Hospital

45-year-old Ryan McNeill was jailed on January 9th after police caught him urinating outside of Centennial Hospital on Patterson Street. McNeill then went inside the hospital and began to cause a disturbance. He refused treatment but also refused to leave the hospital. McNeil was yelling and being so disruptive that the hospital staff could not conduct regular business. When the police asked McNeill to identify himself, he refused to give any information. Due to this, Ryan McNeill was taken into custody and charged with criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.

English tourist Charlotte Standen resists arrest during Broadway Brawl

37-year-old Hampshire, England, tourist Charlotte Standen was part of a Broadway brawl late Friday night, which included her partner. As she attempted to remove her partner from the fight, officers arrived and attempted to separate everyone and remove Standen from the brawl. Her partner then began to walk away, and when officers told him to stop, she got between him and officers in an attempt to prevent him from being detained. She was advised to step aside and not interfere, but she refused and would not place her hands behind her back. She was eventually taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
