DUI: Taylor Johnson calls police for domestic incident with boyfriend, jailed after blowing .144% BAC

24-year-old Taylor Johnson had a domestic incident with her boyfriend in the afternoon hours of April 28th. When officers arrived, they located Johnson in her driver’s seat, distraught from the domestic occurrence. Johnson then admitted splitting a Margarita Pitcher with her boyfriend at Soho for her birthday. During their interaction, officers noticed an open alcohol container in her car. Officers prompted Johnson to perform sobriety tests, which she consented to and performed poorly. After being informed of implied consent, Johnson agreed to a breath sample, resulting in 0.144% BAC. Johnson was taken into custody for driving under the influence.

Chester Allen aggressively grabs clothes from girlfriend during argument, charged with assault

27-year-old Chester Allen had a domestic disturbance with his girlfriend, Emma O’Connell, at their residence on January 27th. O’Connell spoke with officers, advising them that she and Allen argued over him owing her money. O’Connell grabbed his clothes from the closet and asked him to leave. Then, Allen grabbed the clothes aggressively from her, causing her to fall, hit her head, and twist her knee. She told officers that Allen tried to assist her after the accident. Officers observed the injuries she sustained and spoke with Allen, who admitted to accidentally bumping into her, causing the fall. Allen was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Fox17 Meteorologist Greg Bobos jailed for DUI after late-night crash

35-year-old Fox17 television meteorologist Greg Bobos told police he consumed “a couple of mimosas” before crashing his car at the Kroger on Monroe Street on Christmas Eve. There were no injuries, only property damage, but the other involved individual observed that Bobos may have been impaired. Officers made contact with Bobos and immediately noticed alcohol coming from his breath, along with extremely watery eyes. He admitted to drinking the champagne mimosas and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Bobos refused a breathalyzer and was taken into custody and transported to booking.

Damon Hodge leaves Buchanan Street brawl to retrieve handgun

24-year-old Damon Hodge Jr. was arrested in the early morning hours of October 16th, following a police call of a large group of 10-12 people fighting with weapons near 1002 Buchanan Street. After arriving and being told that no one was on the scene, Hodge was seen approaching with a handgun and became combative with another group of individuals. When officers made contact with Hodge, they had to tell him multiple times to drop his handgun. Security stated that he was a member of the brawl they were called out for, and officers noticed he reeked of alcohol. When questioned, Hodge said that he was returning to defend himself from others who had attacked him. 

Rodrequa Spikner breaks into husband’s home, smears Mircale Whip on walls to spell out “H-O-E”

Police say 32-year-old Rodrequa Spikner destroyed her ex-husband’s bedroom by treating out a window air conditioner, covering the room with broken eggs, covering the walls with mustard, and using Miracle Whip to spell out “HOE” on his wall. Officers responded to the incident on June 30 and made contact with Johnathan Spiker. He showed the forced entry into his home shortly after he had left to run errands. She had also cut the wires to the internet. Further investigation revealed multiple items missing from the house, including a PS 5, a MacBook, and his ring doorbell. She reportedly called him later and stated, “I did it, and I’ll do it again!” The couple had been separated for eight months. A warrant was issued for her arrest, and she was booked into jail this week.
