Sydney Justice speeds down I-40 West, tells officers she was late picking up her son

26-year-old Sydney Lane Justice was speeding on I-40 West in the afternoon hours of April 23rd, 2023. Officers observed her going 91 mph in a 70 mph zone and conducted a traffic stop. Justice told officers she was late picking up her son. Officers cited her for the incident that day. Then, Justice failed to appear in court on August 18th, 2023. Justice was booked on the citation of speeding over 75 mph on April 25th, 2024.

Tracy Rudolph speeds down I-40 West at 91mph

30-year-old Tracy Deandre Rudolph was speeding on I-40 West in the early hours of May 22nd, 2023. Officers observed Rudolph going 91 mph in a 70-mph-zone, conducted a traffic stop, and then cited him for the incident. He failed to appear in court or pay the fine by September 29th,2023, so a warrant was issued for his arrest. Rudolph was taken into custody on March 19th.

Lamonica Sims continues to harass her ex-boyfriend; makes threats to his life

21-year-old Lamonica Sims threatened her ex-boyfriend, Rashun Bates, numerous times between December 26th and January 9th. Officers were dispatched to Shurgard Way and spoke with Bates, who advised them Sims called and texted him, saying she was going to kill him or have her family kill him. He told them she continued to text and call him after he asked her not to. Bates reported that she has called his roommate, family, friends, and his job to harass them too. He said he blocked her number, but she still finds ways to reach him. Sims was taken into custody for harassment.  

Tom Randall charged with driving too slow in the fast lane

23-year-old Tom Warren Randall violated the laned roadway law on I-65 S on June 3rd. The law states that the left lane of the interstate is for traveling at a higher rate of speed to pass vehicles in the right lane. Officers noticed Randall continued his travel in the left lane in his 2014 Mazda CX5, conducted a traffic stop, and cited him for the violation. Randall failed to appear in court in September and was booked on the citation on November 30th.  

Shane Shown fails to show up for court over expired registration; bench warrant issued

31-year-old Shane Ramon Shown was driving on I-65 with expired tags on January 5th. Officers observed the tags, which expired in October 2022, conducted a traffic stop, and cited him for the violation. Shown failed to appear in court, and his bond was forfeited in May. A capias was issued from the bench for his arrest. Six months later, he was taken into custody and booked on November 29th.

Isaiah Waitkus booked after failing to appear for speeding citation, 93 mph in a 70 mph zone

20-year-old Isaiah Waitkus was booked this week after failing to appear for a court date regarding a January citation for speeding and driving without a license. When he failed to appear, a simple citation turned into a bench warrant for his arrest. The original citation charges Waitkus with traveling at 93 mph in a 70 mph zone in his 2016 Honda Civic on January 14. The traffic stop also revealed he was driving without a license.
