Shane Shown fails to show up for court over expired registration; bench warrant issued

31-year-old Shane Ramon Shown was driving on I-65 with expired tags on January 5th. Officers observed the tags, which expired in October 2022, conducted a traffic stop, and cited him for the violation. Shown failed to appear in court, and his bond was forfeited in May. A capias was issued from the bench for his arrest. Six months later, he was taken into custody and booked on November 29th.

Shane Shown of 56th Ave N in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on November 29th, charged with expired registration. He was released on his own recognizance.
