59-year-old Roxanna Anspach Devlin tried to steal merchandise from Nordstrom on March 28th. Nguyen Nguyen, a Nordstrom asset protection employee, alerted the authorities, advising them he had Devlin detained for stealing. When officers arrived, they spoke with Nguyen, who reported that he observed Devlin enter the establishment, select two bottles of eye cream totaling $505, and conceal them in her purse. The incident was captured on security cameras. Nordstrom wished to prosecute Devlin for the shoplifting, so she was cited for the incident. Later, Devlin was booked on the citation of theft on April 22nd.

Shawn Warren caught with crack cocaine at Walk of Fame Park

46-year-old Shawn Allen Warren was lying near the cement bench area at The Walk of Fame Park on 4th Avenue South in the early hours of February 2nd. Officers patrolled the area and observed him looking down and shuffling through items. Then, when Warren saw the police, he moved his hand underneath a blanket he had wrapped around him. Officers approached and asked him what he had in his hands, to which he replied, “Nothing.” Officers then had Warren stand up, during which two small rocks, later identified as crack cocaine, fell from his lap. Warren was cited for the incident. Warren was booked on the citation of simple possession and criminal trespassing on April 22nd.

Nicholas Barrett attempts to steal $153 worth of cologne from Nordstrom

18-year-old Nicholas Barrett tried to steal merchandise from Nordstrom on March 26th. Joey Rodriguez Jr., a Nordstrom loss prevention officer, alerted the authorities. Rodriguez Jr. advised officers that he observed Barrett enter the establishment and attempt to conceal a $153 box of cologne before exiting the store. When he walked out, Rodriguez Jr. detained him and waited for the police. Then, Barrett was cited for the occurrence. Barrett was booked on the citation of theft on April 22nd.

Nicole Rowland charged with harassment after banging on ex-boyfriend’s door for several hours

45-year-old Nicole Rowland was taken into custody for harassment on April 23rd. Officers were called to Trevecca Towers I on Lester Avenue regarding a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, they observed Rowland leaning and banging on the door. She told officers she was banging on her ex-boyfriend, Mahdi Abbas’s, door because he did it to her. Then, officers spoke with Abbas, who provided footage showing her banging on his door several times over a couple of hours, during which she called his phone repeatedly, even after he blocked her. He stated he felt he was fearful of her actions and wished to prosecute for the incident. Rowland was then detained for the incident.

Wanda Moores steals $200 worth of items from Walgreens, tells police it was “spur of the moment” thing

41-year-old Wanda Moores stole from the Gallatin Pike Walgreens around 9:26 p.m. on March 2nd. Officers observed Moores running away from the establishment with a cart full of merchandise before loading it into a car with a male, later identified as Heath Lee Parker. Deborah Carter Lunsford, a Walgreens employee, ran outside and filmed them driving off. The police got behind the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop near a Shelton Avenue residence, where they identified Moores as the driver. During their investigation, they were advised that about $200 of items were stolen from the location. Moores was detained and Mirandized, under which she stated they had stolen the merchandise because they could not afford it. Moores added that it was a “spur of the moment” thing and not a planned theft. Despite this, officers located a written list detailing what items to steal which matched the recovered goods inside the vehicle. She was then cited for the occurrence. She failed to book by March 27th, so a bench warrant was issued on April 4th. Moores was booked on the citation of theft on April 10th.

Christian Villafuerte throws dog bowl at ex-girlfriend after dog urinates on floor

28-year-old Christian Allen Villafuerte had a domestic incident with his roommate and ex-girlfriend, Iris Anguiano, at their Club Parkway apartment on April 25th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Anguiano, who told them she and Villafuerte argued about their dog urinating on the floor. She said during the argument, Villafuerte threw a $30 dog bowl at her and damaged it. Then, Anguiano stated he punched the mirror in her room, valued at $40, and caused it to shatter. Additionally, Villafuerte broke a dog food storage bin, which was worth $20. When officers spoke with Villafuerte, he told them he had punched a mirror and cut himself. He also admitted to throwing the dog bowl. Villafuerte was taken into custody for vandalism.

DUI: Andres Bohorquez-Guevara drives without headlights, tells police he is “currently high”

24-year-old Andres Bohorquez-Guevara drove without headlights near Nolensville Pike and Morton Avenue around 8:54 p.m. on April 24th. Officers observed this, conducted a traffic stop, and noticed a strong odor of marijuana as they approached the driver’s side. Officers asked him if he had smoked anything, to which he replied, “Yes.” Bohorquez-Guevara consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, and agreed to provide a blood sample after being read implied consent. Then, unprompted, he told officers he was “currently high” and would have THC in his system. Bohorquez was transported to Nashville General Hospital and then was taken into custody for driving under the influence on April 25th.

Shannon Bellflower-Mustin assaults husband with cane during argument

39-year-old Shannon Bellflower-Mustin had a domestic altercation with her husband, Christopher Siracuse, at their Scruggs Lane unit on the night of April 24th. Officers spoke with Siracuse, who stated that he and Bellflower-Mustin argued over their son’s nutrition. During the dispute, he tried to leave through the front door. However, Bellflower-Mustin blocked it with her back, preventing him from leaving. Then, Siracuse realized he had forgotten some items inside, so he went to retrieve them. As he did this, she struck him in the back with her cane, leaving a visible mark. Siracuse refused medical treatment and advised officers that he wished to prosecute for the incident. Bellflower-Mustin was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Matthew Rainey strangles 12-year-old stepson for not flushing toilet

27-year-old Matthew Rainey had a domestic incident with his 12-year-old stepson at his wife’s Club Parkway apartment late March 25th. When officers arrived, they were advised that Rainey had come to retrieve his belongings. As Rainey did this, he started to lecture his stepson about not flushing the toilet or cleaning his room. Rainey then slapped the child on the left side of his face, grabbed him by the throat, and lifted him off the ground. Rainey reportedly applied pressure, making it hard for the child to breathe until his wife spoke through the Ring camera. Rainey then left before the police got to the scene. Officers noticed redness on the 12-year-old’s neck, and he added that he had difficulty eating afterward. Officers observed surveillance from the Ring camera, which only showed Rainey slapping the child. A warrant was issued for Rainey’s arrest. Later, Rainey was taken into custody for domestic assault on April 24th.

18-Year-Old Lamontez Nolan accidentally stabs twin brother during argument

18-year-old Lamontez Nolan had a domestic altercation with his twin brother, Lamontay Nolan, at their Sycamore Road residence late April 24th. Lamontay told officers that they had an argument, which escalated when Lamontez grabbed a knife from the kitchen and shoved him, causing an injury to his left forearm. Lamontay told officers that he did not try to stab him, adding it was an accident.

Then, Lamontez spoke with officers and advised them that he grabbed the knife because his left arm was fractured, and he did not want to fight Lamontay. Lamontez said he was holding the knife when Lamontay tried to knock it out of his hand. When Lamontay swung his arm down, he struck the knife, leaving an injury. Nolan was then taken into custody for aggravated assault.
