18-year-old Lamontez Nolan had a domestic altercation with his twin brother, Lamontay Nolan, at their Sycamore Road residence late April 24th. Lamontay told officers that they had an argument, which escalated when Lamontez grabbed a knife from the kitchen and shoved him, causing an injury to his left forearm. Lamontay told officers that he did not try to stab him, adding it was an accident.
Then, Lamontez spoke with officers and advised them that he grabbed the knife because his left arm was fractured, and he did not want to fight Lamontay. Lamontez said he was holding the knife when Lamontay tried to knock it out of his hand. When Lamontay swung his arm down, he struck the knife, leaving an injury. Nolan was then taken into custody for aggravated assault.
Lamontez Nolan of Sycamore Road in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on April 25th, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He is free on a $2,000.
