46-year-old Shawn Allen Warren was lying near the cement bench area at The Walk of Fame Park on 4th Avenue South in the early hours of February 2nd. Officers patrolled the area and observed him looking down and shuffling through items. Then, when Warren saw the police, he moved his hand underneath a blanket he had wrapped around him. Officers approached and asked him what he had in his hands, to which he replied, “Nothing.” Officers then had Warren stand up, during which two small rocks, later identified as crack cocaine, fell from his lap. Warren was cited for the incident. Warren was booked on the citation of simple possession and criminal trespassing on April 22nd.
Shawn Allen Warren of Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on April 24th, charged with simple possession and criminal trespassing. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,500, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave him pre-trial release from their facility.
