Intoxicated teen William Burke threatens to kill police officers at Steeplechase in Nashville

19-year-old William Burke of Chickering Circle in Nashville wandered onto the restricted area of the horse racing track at the Iroquois Steeplechase Saturday. He was approached by event security along with Metro Nashville Police officers, and as they moved closer, he ran from both. Burke was detained a short distance away. As they inquired as to why he was on the track, he screamed, “fuck you!” at the officers, along with other repeated vulgar language. He was visibly intoxicated and admitted to drinking, despite being 19 years old. As he was taken into custody for his disorderly behavior he told Officer Richardson, “I’m going to kill y’all.”

Melissa Bublitz would like to speak to the manager of baseball; she’s a nurse and her boyfriend is a player

23-year-old St. Thomas Midtown nurse Melissa Bublitz was determined to bring her oversized purse into the Nashville Sounds Stadium Saturday night, so much so that Metro Nashville Police noted she attempted to use her position as a nurse, and that her boyfriend was a baseball player, in an effort to have the rules not apply to her. Not once, not twice, but three times she caused a scene at the stadium after security denied her entry with the oversized purse, which is disallowed in the stadium security rules. Unhappy with being told no, she demanded the Assistant Manager, who also told her no.

Police then got involved as the situation escalated, and she was equally as disappointed in being taken to jail over her behavior. Officers say she was given multiple opportunities to walk away with her friends, who were able to care for her in her extreme state of intoxication, but she refused and repeated she was a St. Thomas Nurse and her boyfriend was playing on the field, so she should be allowed in.

DUI: Corey ‘Bow Wow’ Bean crashes into house on way to visit female in North Nashville at 4 AM #BecauseIGotHigh

37-year-old Corey Bean told police he was on his way to “visit a female” in North Nashville when he somehow crashed into a mailbox and a house on LaGrange Drive at 4 a.m. Wednesday, though he wasn’t sure how it happened. Though he admitted to drinking two shots of tequila around 11 p.m. the night before, officers say he and the vehicle reeked of marijuana and note he had red, droopy, bloodshot eyes upon their arrival. Officers located a roach and a bag of “Gusher” edibles inside the vehicle. Bean struggled to stay away on the way to the hospital, during the blood draw, and on the way to booking.
