DUI: John Imaniriho drinks 1 bottle of Stella Artois before nearly colliding with multiple vehicles

24-year-old John Imaniriho was seen swerving in his white Nissan Sentra and nearly collided with multiple vehicles on Lafayette Road near Lewis Street on the afternoon of February 15th. Officers observed this, initiated a traffic stop, and noticed a half-empty, open bottle of Stella Artois in the center cup holder as they approached the driver’s side. Imaniriho was asked to step out of his car and showed numerous signs of impairment, stumbling as he exited and reeking of alcohol. Imaniriho admitted to drinking “one bottle” before consenting to sobriety tests, where he performed poorly. Officers ran his information through NCIC and were notified that he had no valid driver’s license. Then, Imaniriho failed to provide insurance for his Sentra. Imaniriho was taken into custody for driving under the influence, failing to comply with financial responsibility, an open container violation, and not having a driver’s license.

Andre Satterlund brutally assaults girlfriend on Valentine’s Day, tells police they had been “Having problems”

30-year-old Andre Satterlund was jailed on February 14th after reports of him assaulting a woman on 6th Avenue and Mulberry Street. Two separate calls were placed stating that a male and female were outside of a vehicle, physically fighting under a nearby bridge. Both complainants noted that the female was bleeding from her face. The callers gave officers the license plate number of a tan Lincoln sedan. The officers didn’t find the vehicle under the bridge, but it was spotted near Carrol Street and 5th Avenue South. When the vehicle driver noticed the officers, they abruptly drove away. Officers searched the area and located the vehicle in a parking lot at 9th Avenue South and Gleaves Street. There was blood on the hood and passenger door, along with strands of the woman’s hair. Officers then identified Satterlund as the driver and asked him to step out of the vehicle. Santia Zamora was in the passenger’s seat, with extreme swelling to her jaw and eyes. Her nose was bleeding, and her arms were scraped. Officers observed blood everywhere on the passenger’s side of the vehicle and immediately called for an ambulance. Both parties stated that they were in a relationship, and Zamora had gotten into a fight with strangers at Hustler Strip Club. Satterlund initially stated that his girlfriend had gotten into a fight with another woman inside the club. Later, he changed his story to his girlfriend getting into a fight with three women outside the club. Satterlund admitted that he and Zamora had been “having problems” all day. Officers then went to Hustler Strip Club, where two witnesses stated they saw Satterlund kicking and kneeing his girlfriend in the face outside of the club. Officers located an area where there were several items thrown from inside Satterlund’s vehicle and blood on the ground. Officers noticed Satterlund had blood on his pants, and his knuckles were swollen. Zamora was transported to Vanderbilt Hospital for her injuries. While in the ambulance, Zamora admitted that Satterlund punched her, kicked her, and threw her into the side of the car. The severity of Zamora’s injuries is unknown, pending a CT scan. During the search of the vehicle, officers located an open alcoholic beverage within reach of the driver’s side. Officers also learned that Satterlund did not have a valid driver’s license. Zamora did not wish to prosecute. Satterlund was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault, open container violation, and driving without a license on February 14th.

18-Year-Old Jakeria Rucker drives into oncoming traffic to evade police in Ford Fusion

18-year-old Jakeria Rucker drove through a stop sign with a brake light out near Deford Bailey Avenue and 12th Avenue South late February 10th. Officers were in the area and overheard approximately 20-30 gunshots from the Edgehill Housing Community. Officers went to the area and observed four occupants, one of which being Rucker, in a black Ford Fusion cross into oncoming traffic to flee from them. The Fusion was later involved in an accident on 2nd Avenue South and Chestnut Street, where officers confirmed the plate number matched the vehicle at large. Rucker, the driver, was detained as she told them she did not know they were trying to pull her over when she saw the blue lights behind her. Further investigation revealed that she did not have a valid driver’s license and was taken into custody for evading arrest by motor vehicle and not having a driver’s license.

DUI: Divanny Jaimes Lara drinks 8-12 beers, does multiple drugs before crashing car

25-year-old Divanny Gabriel Jaimes Lara had a car accident on Thompson Lane and Nolensville Pike on the morning of February 11th. Jaimes Lara was visibly intoxicated when officers arrived to speak with him, and then he refused to take sobriety tests. Jaimes Lara was informed of implied consent and agreed to provide a blood sample. Under Miranda, he told officers he consumed 8-12 beers, smoked marijuana, and snorted crystal meth. Officers discovered through ARMS that he also did not have a valid driver’s license. Divanny Jaimes Lara was taken into custody for driving under the influence and not having a driver’s license.

DUI: Isaac Longinos drinks several Modelo beers before nearly rear-ending vehicle

24-year-old Isaac Angel Longinos traveled 20 mph in a 45-mph zone on Murfreesboro Pike near Ransom Place on February 6th. Officers observed this as he swerved and overcorrected before nearly rear-ending another vehicle while approaching a red light. They conducted a traffic stop and noticed he was visibly intoxicated when they approached the driver’s side. There were several open cans of Modelo beer on the floorboard. Longinos exited the vehicle as they requested and consented to sobriety tests. Longinos could not complete the sobriety tests due to his level of intoxication. Officers detained him and performed a records check, which showed that he did not have a valid driver’s license. Further investigation led to them discovering Longinos had a fake temporary tag affixed to the rear of his vehicle that was later turned in as evidence. They transported him to booking, where he urinated on himself while sleeping. Longinos was taken into custody for driving under the influence, not having a driver’s license, and having a fraudulent title.

Porsha Leggs found in stolen vehicle with cocaine, chore boy, Oxycodone

32-year-old Porsha Leggs was in a stolen Kia Sorento at the Discount Tobacco Center on Jenkins Street on January 22nd. Officers followed the vehicle to the alley near Rosa L Parks Boulevard and Garfield Street, where they observed Leggs exiting it. They detained her immediately, found that she had no valid driver’s license, and located the keys to the Sorento. A subsequent search led to them discovering two pipes, a chore boy scrubbing pad commonly used in smoking crack cocaine, some cocaine wrapped in paper, and four Oxycodone pills in a paper towel. Leggs was taken into custody for unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, two counts of simple possession, theft, and driving without a valid driver’s license.

DUI: Andrew Mannella drives into head shop, high on Whippets

When police found 29-year-old Andrew Manella on Tuesday afternoon, he had crashed into the side of a head shop on Gallatin Road with a Whippet canister in his hand. He initially claimed his brakes failed as he pulled into the parking lot; however, security video showed him sitting in the parking lot for twenty minutes before pulling over the curb and driving into the building. He admitted to “doing Whippets” but claimed it was several hours ago. A search of the vehicle yielded a large Nitrous Oxide tank, and a total of four canisters, totaling 4.35 liters of the gas.

DUI: Sebastian Cova runs man over after crashing into his car

22-year-old Sebastian Cova was jailed on January 1st after police responded to 4th Avenue North for a vehicle crash. Elijah Zeisloft told police that Cova crashed into his parked vehicle. When Elijah approached Cova to get his information, Cova attempted to flee the scene and struck his car a second time. Elijah was in front of Cova’s vehicle at this point, walking toward the driver’s seat. According to Elijah, Cova revved his engine before accelerating forward toward him and struck him in the leg before crashing into a gate. Officers smelled alcohol mixed with cologne as they spoke with Cova. He was unsteady on his feet and had watery eyes and dilated pupils. Cova performed poorly on sobriety tests and was taken into custody. Cova was charged with driving under the influence, aggravated assault, reckless driving, and driving without a license.

DUI: Cordero Moree smokes marijuana before driving through red light

29-year-old Cordero Moree drove through a red light on December 21st as officers patrolled Representative John Lewis Way South and Lafayette Street. They observed this, initiated a traffic stop, approached the driver’s side door, and noticed Moree fumbling with his belongings. He responded slowly to officers, advising them he had no license, and initially provided an unverifiable name and date of birth. He admitted to smoking marijuana in the morning and told them he was a painter who paints indoors without filtration, explaining why there was paint on him. Moree consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, and was taken into custody for driving without a license and driving under the influence.
