When officers arrived, they investigated and noticed she had a slight alcoholic odor. Bryden consented to sobriety tests in the parking lot and admitted to having two vodka sodas at Ole Red before driving. She showed impairment during two tests, adding that she was a yoga teacher, explaining her balance on the third test, where she showed no signs. Bryden agreed to provide a chemical sample after being read implied consent, and then she was Mirandized. Officers reported that she was argumentative but non-combative while constantly apologizing for her actions. Then, after her blood draws, Bryden told officers that she did not realize she had “lost that much weight.” Paige was taken into custody for driving under the influence on April 26th.

DUI: Alexander Salyers crashes car on Old Hickory Boulevard after having 3-4 drinks

23-year-old Alexander Salyers had a single-vehicle accident near Old Hickory Boulevard on April 20th. Officers were advised about the crash via a third-party caller. When officers arrived, they located Salyers, who appeared confused, staring at the damage to his vehicle. Then, he told officers he was unaware of how the accident occurred and admitted to having three to four alcoholic drinks before driving. Salyers consented to sobriety tests and then performed poorly. Officers searched his vehicle and located a loaded Sig Sauer pistol and an open 12-ounce Miller Lite. Salyers was taken into custody for driving under the influence and an open container violation.

DUI: Kaitlin Bamford has 4-5 drinks at Scoreboards before crashing Nissan Altima into ditch

26-year-old Kaitlin Bamford crashed her black Nissan Altima into a ditch on Whites Creek Pike near Haynes Garden Apartments in the early hours of March 1st. NFD personnel spoke with officers as they arrived, advising them that Bamford was sleeping in the driver’s seat when they got there, showing signs of intoxication. Officers talked to Bamford, who admitted to driving after she had 4-5 drinks at Scoreboards. Bamford was transported to Skyline Hospital, where she refused to take sobriety tests but agreed to provide a blood sample. Bamford was taken into custody for driving under the influence-2nd.

Cody Kluge — drunk and disorderly at WannaB’s karaoke bar in downtown Nashville #CMAFest

28-year-old Cody Kluge from Wisconsin was kicked out of WannaB’s karaoke bar on Broadway Thursday night in downtown Nashville after being drunk and disorderly with security. As he was being escorted out of the venue, he was staggering and had trouble standing. As officers attempted to speak to him as he was coming out, Kluge attempted to push one of the bouncers and was taken into custody for disorderly conduct.

Cassie Plair found passed out behind wheel of SUV with small bag of white powdery substance

33-year-old Cassie Maria Plair was found by first responders passed out behind the wheel of her vehicle at exit 92 on I-65 in the very early hours of Monday Morning. She was described as “slumped over with her mouth open” by callers to 911, and when officers arrived, they couldn’t wake her despite many minutes of attempts. As the vehicle was still in drive, first responders had to carefully secure the vehicle from moving and then used a bright strobing light which eventually worked as Plair opened her eyes. When asked where she was, she explained that she had just been pulled over for a traffic stop, as if everything was perfectly normal, and she had no concept of the lost time. She then became verbally combative and argumentative, according to officers on the scene. She even stated, “Do you realize the people driving past are more drunk than I am? She admitted to having one vodka drink earlier and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. As she was being booked into DCSO, she surrendered a small baggie containing a white powdery substance to officers.
