Officer Brookshaw responded to Wallace Rd. regarding an intoxicated person on October 5th. Upon arrival, Officer Brookshaw observed that MNPD Lieutenant Vaughn had 57-year-old Leonard Johnson detained for an investigation of driving under the influence of alcohol. Through investigation, it was discovered that Johnson had been operating a vehicle in a motel parking lot and showed visible signs of intoxication. Johnson claimed due to arthritis, he was not able to do certain tasks from the sobriety test before performing poorly on the majority of them, resulting in being taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence.

Keldasha Blaylock douses boyfriend with Tabasco sauce
19-year-old Keldasha Blaylock was arrested following a domestic assault incident where it’s alleged that she threatened the victim, Malik Buchanan’s, children before dousing him with Tabasco hot sauce. According to Buchanan, an argument started because Blaylock was upset there was nothing around and that she was not getting adequate help with their two kids. After the argument began, the victim left the property but allegedly witnessed Blaylock placing his son on the sidewalk before walking away, at which point he had to walk him back to the home.
At this point, Buchanan began receiving threatening text messages from Blaylock that threatened the children’s safety. He was concerned about a text message threatening the daughter’s safety. He pushed the air conditioning unit out of the house because of a threatening message, and the defendant allegedly began throwing Tabasco on him, of which he has partial footage.
Ryan Taugher pulled from Nashville home, to be extradited on stalking & gun charges in Utah
Nashville police raided the home of Ryan Taugher on October 5 after detectives were notified of multiple full extradition warrants out of Salt Lake City, Utah. Taugher initially refused to come outside, and more than a dozen specialized team members approached the door, eventually entering and throwing what appeared to be a flash-bang as a distraction to take him into custody. Taugher faced recent charges in Nashville, which we covered in July after he was charged with the felony aggravated assault of his influencer girlfriend, McKinli Hatch. He pleaded those charges down from a felony to a misdemeanor last month and received a probated sentence.
Police say on September 28th, Taugher flew from Nashville to Salt Lake City after texting Mckinli asking where she was and repeatedly being told to leave her alone. Eventually, Mckinli stopped responding, and Taugher reportedly dressed in all black and set out to find her. While Mckinli was upstairs, she heard banging on her front door and began receiving calls from Taugher. Mckinli went to the basement to hide and saw Taugher climb through a basement window. She safely escaped through a window as soon as she had the chance. Once inside Mckini’s home, Taugher grabbed a steak knife and searched the house for her. He left when he couldn’t find her and was found near her house with the steak knife.
The Utah warrants note that Taugher’s actions put the community and Mckinli at great risk. A lethality assessment was conducted with Mckinli, to which she scored high risk, reporting that this is not the first time he has used weapons against her; he has also strangled her, and she believes he will try to kill her. It was additionally noted that Traugher is violently jealous of Mckinli, controls her daily activities, follows her, and leaves threatening messages for her. Mckinli stated that she is terrified that he may commit murder or suicide. Taugher was booked into Salt Lake County jail on September 28th and released on September 29th, prior to the state having the opportunity to review the submitted case, and he then returned to Nashville. His Utah warrants include felony burglary, stalking, illegal possession of a firearm, and theft.
Lissandra Menu Lopez charged with selling alcohol to a minor
On September 15th, the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TBAC) conducted a compliance check at El Aguaje restaurant on N. Gallatin Pike. 22-year-old server Lissandra Menu Lopez sold a Corona to an underage undercover informant. The ID of the person served showed as underage, and they were still served after Menu Lopez checked the ID.
Hope McCann charged with shoplifting $47 from Walmart with two juvenile co-defendants
On September 6th, officers responded to Walmart on N. Gallatin Pike regarding a report of shoplifters that had been detained by loss prevention officers. Officers spoke with loss prevention officers, and they stated that 20-year-old Hope McCann had taken $47 worth of merchandise and confronted them outside before bringing them back inside to wait for the arrival of the police. McCann admitted to stealing the items and committed delinquency of a minor by having two juveniles involved, who were given citations for shoplifting.
Bryanna Allen charged with serving alcohol to a minor at Outback Steakhouse
The TABC conducted a minor compliance check at Outback Steakhouse on N. Gallatin Rd. on September 11th. The server, 24-year-old Bryanna Allen, served a 12oz Corona to an underage undercover informant. The minor’s DOB is 5-30-2003, and Allen checked the license before serving her. She was issued a citation for the charge, and was booked this week.
Tameka Stewart-Ackerman arrested at Alamo Car Rental after berating employees
46-year-old Tameka Stewart-Ackerman was jailed Wednesday night after verbally abusing the employees at Alamo Rental. Police responded to Nashville airport and observed Tameka being loud and disruptive. One of the employees told officers that they were afraid she was going to come around the counter and harm them because she was very animated, throwing her hands around and putting her finger in their faces. She stated that unless they rented her a car, they would have to take her to jail because she would not be leaving. Leaving, she did, in handcuffs.
Kanette Campbell jailed after spitting blood on a woman during nightclub fight
37-year-old Kanette Campbell was jailed early Wednesday morning after fighting at a nightclub. She followed Demetria Stuart out of a nightclub and began to fight others. Suddenly, Campbell turned toward Demetria and spat blood on her, which was not the first time she spat on her, according to the victim. Campbell was taken into custody and charged with assault.
Shyanne Hoffman assaults woman over rented scooter outside of Titans Stadium
Officers were dispatched to a fight that occurred at Titans Way on September 9. Officers spoke with the victim, who stated she was approached by 19-year-old Shyanne Hoffman, who she did not know, and a fight ensued over a rentable scooter. Officers observed visible injuries to the victim’s face and knees. Surveillance footage provided to Officers by Titans Stadium shows Hoffman actively fighting the victim. She was issued a citation for assault and was booked this week.
Phillip Hathaway admits to strangling his mother after she turned off a baseball game
Officer Pellissier was dispatched to Herman St. in response to a domestic disturbance on October 3rd. Upon arrival Veronica Falls, the caller, stated that her son, 31-year-old Phillip Hathaway, tried to strangle her. Pellissier observed abrasions on the left side of Falls’s neck. When asked about the incident, Hathaway stated, “I was watching the baseball game, and when she turned it off, I choked her.” Hathaway was then taken into custody.
