On September 6th, officers responded to Walmart on N. Gallatin Pike regarding a report of shoplifters that had been detained by loss prevention officers. Officers spoke with loss prevention officers, and they stated that 20-year-old Hope McCann had taken $47 worth of merchandise and confronted them outside before bringing them back inside to wait for the arrival of the police. McCann admitted to stealing the items and committed delinquency of a minor by having two juveniles involved, who were given citations for shoplifting.

Hope McCann of Charlotte Ave in Nashville, TN, was booked on the citation of theft and contributing to the delinquency of a minor on October 3.
