Phillip Hathaway admits to strangling his mother after she turned off a baseball game

Officer Pellissier was dispatched to Herman St. in response to a domestic disturbance on October 3rd. Upon arrival, Veronica Falls, the caller, stated that her son, 31-year-old Phillip Hathaway, tried to strangle her. Pellissier observed abrasions on the left side of Falls’s neck. When asked about the incident, Hathaway stated, “I was watching the baseball game, and when she turned it off, I choked her.” Hathaway was then taken into custody.

Phillip Hathaway was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on October 3rd, charged with aggravated assault. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $7,500.
