Amilya Green breaks into cousin’s home, robs her after learning she’s home alone

23-year-old Amilya Lane Green and three unidentified individuals forced their way into Marissa Green’s, her second cousin, home on Crutcher Street in the early hours of March 16th. Marissa alerted the authorities and provided them with a vehicle description, stating that they had fled before they arrived in a red, early 2010s Nissan Altima missing a driver’s side mirror. She further explained that Amilya and the three others had dropped her off, one being a female and two being male. Marissa said she had received a text from Amilya, which was when Marissa told her she was home alone. Moments later, Marissa heard a knock on her door and answered it to find Amilya and the other three. Amilya and the other individuals rushed through the door and ransacked Marissa’s house. Marissa told officers that one of the males grabbed her PlayStation 4 from her bedroom, so she tried to stop him. The man grabbed Marissa by the neck and pinned her to the ground. When Marissa broke free, she called the police. Marissa said that they stole her PlayStation 4 and various prescription medications, adding that they were there for about 10 minutes. Marissa told officers that the males had handguns during the burglary and advised that she wanted to prosecute all four of them but could only identify Amilya, her second cousin. Amilya Green was taken into custody for aggravated burglary and aggravated robbery on March 19th.

Darren McDonald fights security after card declines at Nudie’s Honky Tonk

26-year-old Darren McDonald was disorderly at Nudies Honky Tonk on Broadway late March 16th. Security for the establishment flagged officers down, advising that McDonald tried to walk out without paying his tab after his card declined, so they stopped him from leaving, which is when he became uncooperative and wanted to fight them. After this, security detained him, hindering him from exiting, where he was resistive, and ended up hitting one of the security guards. He was visibly intoxicated, making statements about wanting to drive home, so officers tried to find him a ride but were not able to. McDonald was taken into custody for disorderly conduct.

18-year-old Brayan Figueroa Hernandez flees after police find his Glock

18-year-old Brayan Jose Figueroa-Hernandez was involved in a car accident near Nolensville Pike and Haywood Lane in the early hours of March 17th. When officers arrived, they located several others who were inside an involved vehicle and were advised by NFD personnel that they found a hard case for a Glock firearm in the back seat. Officers noticed the gun case, so they searched Hernandez and the others, during which officers felt what they believed was a magazine for a gun on Hernandez. Hernandez then tried to flee from officers but was detained following a brief pursuit. Hernandez was transported to the General Hospital for the injuries he sustained. Then, Hernandez was taken into custody for evading arrest and resisting arrest.

Demayo Partee strangles man unconscious at The Stillery Midtown

33-year-old Demayo Partee had an altercation with Tobia Burdette Jr. on Broadway at The Stillery Midtown late March 16th. When officers arrived, they located Burdette, who had lost consciousness after being strangled by an unidentified male. Burdett was out with Partee and his girlfriend when they started to argue, so he tried to intervene. When Burdette attempted to step in between them, Partee grabbed him by the neck and strangled him until he was unconscious, collapsing to the ground. Burdette was then transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center. Detectives could not locate Partee, but they reviewed security footage of the scuffle and then spoke with witnesses, who helped identify Partee. Partee was taken into custody for aggravated assault on March 18th.

DUI: David Robles blows .127% BAC after crashing into parked car

23-year-old David Robles was booked on March 17th for causing an accident on Edmondson Pike. An off-duty officer witnessed Robles crash into a parked car that was beside him. The witness stated that he saw multiple open beer cans in Robles’ vehicle. Officials could smell alcohol coming from Robles breath as he spoke and asked him to consent to sobriety tests, which he performed poorly, and he was taken into custody. Robles later blew a .127% BAC on a breathalyzer at booking.

Kyle Bassett indicted by Grand Jury for rape

The Davidson County Grand Jury indicted 25-year-old Kyle Bassett on March 6th after being charged with four counts of rape, a count of aggravated assault, and a count of sexual battery. The indictment alleges that on December 11th, 2023, Kyle Bassett engaged in unlawful sexual penetration by force and strangulation. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $150,000.

Jerson Calderon-Lopez flees police in Infiniti Q50 after being stopped for illegal tint

20-year-old Jerson Calderon-Lopez was booked on March 16th when officers pulled him over in a white Infiniti Q50 with illegal windshield tint. There were reports of a suspicious vehicle with occupants pulling on car door handles in a parking lot on Premier Drive, and Calderon’s Infinity matched the description. The car sped off when police initially tried to conduct a traffic stop. Aviation followed the vehicle and observed four passengers flee on foot onto the railroad tracks near Briley Pike North. Aviation was able to give specific locations and advised that Calderon was hiding on a rockface in the thick brush behind Centennial Boulevard. Police found Calderon and placed him into custody. He admitted to being the driver and not possessing a driver’s license. Calderon also stated that two of the passengers were under 18. Calderon was then transported to General Hospital for a medical clearance before being transported to booking.

Kyle Paisley booked on Kentucky warrant after shoplifting at JCPenney

31-year-old Kyle Paisley was booked on March 15th for shoplifting from JCPenney at the Rivergate Mall. When officers arrived, they observed Kyle outside the store with multiple stolen items. Officers located a black dress priced at $69, another black dress priced at $89, and a black shirt priced at $44. The officers reviewed camera footage that revealed Kyle grabbed the items from the shelf and went behind a wall to put them in his backpack before leaving the store. The items stolen totaled $202. When officers ran Kyle’s information, they discovered an outstanding arrest warrant for stolen property out of Paducah, Kentucky. Paducah stated they would extradite Paisley for the warrant. Paisley was taken into custody on March 15th and charged with theft and fugitive from justice.
