Christopher Nelson refuses to stop sleeping in Burnham Apartments parking garage

47-year-old Christopher Nelson was sleeping in the parking garage and refusing to leave the Burnham Apartments on Representative John Lewis Way South in the early hours of April 9th. When officers arrived, they spoke with security at the apartments and located Nelson. Officers told him to leave, which he did as they informed him he was not allowed to return. After this, Nelson sat on a bench nearby, and officers left the scene. Then, after receiving an unrelated call, about 15 to 20 minutes later, they patrolled the Burnham Apartments again and noticed Nelson was sleeping in the garage between two vehicles. Nelson was taken into custody for criminal trespass.

31-year-old Kessler Sandoval-Villela jailed after having child with 15-year-old minor

31-year-old Kessler Rene Sandoval-Villela was taken into custody for two counts of aggravated statutory rape on April 6th. On January 26th, the staff at St. Thomas Midtown made a DCS referral because Sandoval-Villela signed a birth certificate claiming to be the father of the child birthed by a 15-year-old minor female. When officers arrived, Sandoval-Villela told them the sex was consensual and that he believed she was 18 years old, adding that they had sex at his home in Goodlettsville, Tennessee. During a forensic interview, the 15-year-old disclosed that she had met him at a friend’s house in July 2022, when their relationship began. Their relationship has been ongoing since July 2022. Sandoval-Villela was 30 years old at the time of the child’s conception, and the minor victim was 14 years old. Sandoval-Villela was taken into custody on April 5th.

Rochdi Benaissa jailed after stealing single can of beer

44-year-old Rochdi Benaissa stole from the Shell Gas Station on Fessler’s Lane in the early hours of March 9th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Laquita Holt, a Shell employee, who advised them that he entered the store, picked up a $2.99 can of beer, and then exited without paying. Benaissa told the police he went to the store for beer and was refused service when he tried to pay because he did not have a shirt on, so he took the beer to his car and fell asleep in the parking lot. He was cited for the incident. Then, Benaissa was booked on the citation of theft on April 4th.

Matthew Harmon goes to Walmart to get food despite being banned for stealing

40-year-old Matthew Harmon was taken into custody for burglary on April 6th. Officers were dispatched to Walmart on Nolensville Pike and spoke with Loss Prevention employees, who advised them that Harmon had been banned from the location in March. Harmon stole about $100 worth of merchandise from the store. Harmon told the police he knew he was not supposed to be there, adding he was there to get food. After officers investigated, he was detained for the incident.

Demonte McGee booked after police find firearm, pills during traffic stop

26-year-old Demonte Deshawn McGee rode as a passenger in a car that the police pulled over near 14th Avenue North and Ireland Street on March 7th. During the traffic stop, officers searched McGee and located a firearm and several pills. McGee told officers he takes the pills despite not having a prescription. McGee was cited for the incident that day. McGee was booked on the citations for the unlawful possession of a weapon and simple possession on April 5th.

Adam Hachicho swerves between lanes over 100mph on Murfreesboro Pike nearly causing accident

22-year-old Adam Hachicho was speeding over 100 mph on Murfreesboro Pike late March 6th. He was swerving in and out of traffic, nearly causing an accident near Smith Springs Road. Officers observed this and conducted a traffic stop at the Hamilton Lane and Hamilton Church Road intersection, where they cited him for the incident. Hachico was booked on the citation for reckless driving on April 4th.

Nathan Green booked after cutting drivers off, flashing his lights at them with kids in car

47-year-old Nathan Green was booked on the citation for reckless driving on April 4th. On March 12th, officers observed him flashing his lights at other drivers to move out of his way and following behind them extremely close if they didn’t. Then, cut off multiple vehicles while changing lanes to exit onto Old Hickory Boulevard. Officers conducted a traffic stop, where they noticed he had two kids with him, and cited him for the violation. Green was booked on the citation on April 4th.

Rachel Girardi breaches security doors at Nashville International Airport after leaving purse in bathroom

36-year-old Rachel Girardi was seen violating airport procedures at the Nashville International Airport on March 10th. Girardi landed from her flight, went to the restroom, and left her purse. Without knowing that she left her purse in the restroom, Girardi walked out of the secure side of the airport to the non-secure side. Once Girardi noticed that she had left her purse, she breached the security doors and took off running down C-Concourse. Officers cited her for the violation that day. Girardi was booked on the citation for airport and aircraft security violation on April 3rd.

David Sharp strangles girlfriend because she wants to see her daughter

49-year-old David Sharp was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Candice Briggs, at Aaronwood Drive on April 8th. Officers arrived and made contact with Briggs inside the house, hugging a chair and crying. Candice was asked what happened but would continue to lie on the ground and cry. Candice eventually spoke to officers and told them that an issue had been going on for a few days and that she had called before. However, this address has not contacted law enforcement in the last 48 hours. Candice explained that an argument started when she told Sharp she wanted to see her daughter. When the couple got back home, they consumed some alcoholic beverages. During the argument, Sharp slammed Candice’s head on the ground. Candice also told officers that Sharp strangled her, which made her blackout. A medic on the scene observed Briggs’s injuries and saw redness around Candice’s neck and chest, a long scratch on her neck, as well as broken nails on her fingers. Sharp told officers that there was a verbal argument, but the only time that he put his hands on her was when he helped her from the car because she was intoxicated. David Sharp was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault and aggravated assault.
