29-year-old Gabrielle Hydorn told police her husband hit her after telling her to stop being so loud. She told police after they arrived at the residence on Lebanon Pike on August 8th that she was on the phone with her sisters when her husband, Kevin Hydron, told her to stop being so loud. After the demand, he entered the bedroom, took her phone, and hit her arm and leg. She said she followed him into the living room, hit him in the back of the head, and threw a shoe at him, causing a scratch on his shin. Kevin told police that he asked her to quiet down, then sat on the living room couch. He said that she came into the living room, hit him in the back of the head several times, and threw the shoe at him. Police determined Gabrielle to be the primary aggressor based on the two’s history, Kevin’s injuries, and conflicting stories.

Nashville drag queen ‘Britney Banks’ jailed for punching husband Ryan in face (Chase Brisentine)
40-year-old Chase Brisentine, better known as Nashville’s very own “Glamazon” drag queen “Britney Banks,” was jailed early Sunday morning after punching his husband, Ryan Brisentine, in the face. The two were driving home from a friend’s house when they got into a verbal argument. Ryan, who was driving, said Chase then punched him in the face multiple times. Officers documented visible injuries to Ryan’s face. Chase admitted to the assault, stating he “got annoyed” with his husband, so he punched him.
Jacoby Rippy charged in assault of mother and younger brother
20-year-old Jacoby Rippy hit his little brother, who tried to break up a fight between him and their mother. On June 21st, MNPD officers arrived in West Nashville and spoke to Mia Rippy, the victim of a domestic assault. Mia told police that she was assaulted by Jacoby, who was her son, and he lived at the residence. She said it started when they argued and told him to leave the residence. When Jacoby refused, she said, he grabbed and pushed her. At this time, his younger brother saw him push their mother, so he stepped in to defend her. The little brother said Jacoby grabbed him and punched him. Police noted scratches and bruising to the younger brother’s face, chest, and pinky finger. Mia did not have any visible injuries but wanted to prosecute and place an order of protection against Jacoby.
Larogerrick Moore throws glass vase at mother of his child when asked to watch the infant
34-year-old Larogerrick Moore and his baby momma threw things at each other after she asked him to watch their infant. On July 26th, MNPD officers arrived at a residence on Cheyenne Blvd and spoke to Latoya McDuffie. She said that Larogerrick came home from work at 6 am, and she asked him to watch their 6-month-old child. An argument started, she said, and he threw a household item at her. She admitted to police that she threw something back, leading to each of them throwing several items at each other. At this time, Larogerrick threw a glass vase that hit Latoya in the arm. A juvenile eyewitness corroborated Latoya’s story as well as police noted a bruise on Latoya’s arm.
Florida man Matthew Giello jailed after biting ex-boyfriend during fight
38-year-old Matthew Giello had a tussle with his ex-boyfriend outside of Planet Fitness when his ex threatened to hurt himself if Matthew left him. On July 29th, MNPD officers spoke to Matthew’s ex-boyfriend, Nicholas Rivas, who first said that Matthew kidnapped him from Florida. Later, Nicholas said he willingly got into Matthew’s car after being offered drugs. Police then spoke to Matthew, who said Nicholas is schizophrenic and there is a history of domestic violence between the two of them documented in Florida. He also said that the dispute started inside the locker room at Planet Fitness when Nicholas said that Matthew was going to leave him forever and threatened to harm himself. Matthew grabbed Nicholas’ phone and exited, where Nicholas followed and put Matthew into a chokehold. He said that he had to bite Nicholas’ hand to escape. Nicholas told police that Matthew put him in a chokehold when he attempted to get his phone back and that Matthew bit him. Police noted marks on Nicholas’ hand and no marks on Matthew, so he was deemed the primary aggressor and was placed into custody.
NY tourist Thomas Hayes slaps girlfriend in face in downtown Nashville
38-year-old Thomas Hayes was jailed for domestic assault after police found him in his girlfriend’s face around the corner from Broadway. After 11 pm on July 29th, MNPD officers noticed Thomas in his girlfriend, Toby Vannostrand’s, face around the corner of 3rd Ave and Broadway. The police described them as face to face with Toby’s back against a vacant building and Thomas standing in an aggressive manner. Thomas and Toby were separated and told police that the two were dating. Two eyewitnesses said that they saw Thomas slap Toby across the face, and police noted there was a red mark on Toby’s left cheek.
Karina Medina charged in DUI and dramatic domestic assault of family
26-year-old Karina Medina reportedly drove to her mother’s house drunk, tussled with her brother, and told police that he threatened her and her mother’s life. On July 27th, around 6:30 pm, police arrived at Sam Boney Dr. after receiving a call from a hysterical, yelling woman, saying that someone was trying to kill her. They arrived and met Karina, sitting in her boyfriend’s running Jeep outside, with empty airplane alcohol bottles inside, and she smelled strongly of alcohol. Karina was uncooperative and hysterical, with a cut on her forehead. She kept trying to push past the police to reenter the house.
Inside the home, police spoke to her mother, Rose Castillo, who said that Karian had arrived to pick up her mail. Rose said that she told her to stay outside while she grabbed something for Karina inside due to her not residing at that house. Karina ignored Rose and entered the home; Jorge, the victim is Karina’s brother, was in the shower. A comment was made by Karina about Jorge’s son, and he retorted that she did not care about his son, which caused Karina to grab him out of the shower. She pulled him out of the shower, hit him, and they fell into the hallway, where she positioned herself on top of him. Jorge regained control by getting on top of Karina and holding her down with his leg across her stomach to keep her from causing further injury to him or herself.
Karina told police that she resides in and owns the home; further investigation proved to police that she lives in another residence with her boyfriend. She also told police that Jorge grabbed, strangled, and fought with her until they fell out of the front door, but no injuries were consistent with these claims. She was transported to Vanderbilt for her injury, during which time police said that she changed her story several times and that there is a history of domestic violence between her and Jorge. After police checked the records, they found no cases of domestic violence between the two of them or with their mother. Rose and Jorge’s accounts of the incident, coupled with Karina’s hysterical behavior, caused police to believe that she was the primary aggressor.
Gabrielle Bailey assaults boyfriend who smacked a girl “on the booty”
36-year-old Gabrielle Bailey arrived at her boyfriend’s house drunk after being gone a couple of days, became mad at him for smacking another girl’s booty, and struck him in the face with an unknown object, resulting in a domestic assault charge. On June 26th, MNPD arrived at Nathaniel Reed’s residence and spoke to him. He said that Gabrielle had been in a relationship with him for three years, and she showed up at his house drunk after being gone for three days. He said, “I smacked another girl on the booty in front of her, attempting to make her mad,” which did, in fact, make her mad, per report. Gabrielle began arguing with the woman whose booty was smacked by Nathaniel and he told them to take it outside. Once they were outside, Nathaniel tripped in a large hole and while falling he said that Gabrielle struck him in the face with an unknown object. Police noted a laceration on Nathaniel’s lip.
Henry Frasier bruises fiancée’s buttocks during argument over him having a job
34-year-old Henry Frasier was charged with domestic assault when his fiancée, Sariah Alsobrook, showed cops her bruised buttocks from when he pushed her into a desk during an argument about him not having a job. On July 22nd, police arrived at British Woods Dr. and spoke to Henry’s fiancée, Sariah, who said that she and Henry had been arguing about him not having a job. She said that she was irritated with him due to him not paying any of the bills. While arguing, she told police Henry tried to take a pillow from her, which she did not allow, so he responded by pushing her into a desk. Police observed serious bruising on Sariahs left buttocks, and she said that she wanted to prosecute.
Robert Stone charged with slamming girlfriend’s head into kitchen table
33-year-old Robert Stone woke his girlfriend, the victim, Ashley Smallman, up and slammed her head into a kitchen table, per a police report. On July 23rd, MNPD officers were dispatched to 3rd Ave. for a domestic disturbance when they spoke to the victim, Ashley. She told the police that Robert woke her in bed and slammed her head into a kitchen table. Police noted a cut on her ear as well as other visible injuries on Ashley. When police spoke to Robert, he said that Ashley woke up and began attacking him. Police observed bruises on Robert’s arm but deemed him the primary aggressor due to the severity of the injuries on Ashley.
