Crystal Holder pulled braids from her sister’s head, left her with large bald patch after fight

20-year-old Crystal Holder was jailed this week on an outstanding domestic assault warrant from November. Police say that just four days before Thanksgiving, Holder pulled the hair of her sister, Shantel Lacy, during a domestic dispute on Archwood Place. Responding officers documented a bald patch on Lacy’s head and several long braids pulled out and laying on the table. Holder fled the scene before police arrived, and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

Nyla Rose throws crock pot after roommate breaks her stripper pole

21-year-old Nyla Rose is charged with domestic assault and vandalism after an argument with her roommate over a stripper pole got out of control. Nyla is a roommate of Sidney Hall, and several months ago, Sidney moved his girlfriend, Shemyi Love, into the apartment without asking her, but the trio eventually agreed to split everything three ways, but there have since been ongoing issues over living situations in the apartment. Rose says she first became upset when she heard Sidney taking down her stripper pole in the living room, and he bent a portion of the stand. Later Nyla was boiling water and began throwing things at Sidney, including a deep fryer and a mason jar, covering the kitchen floor in grease. She then hit him in the head with a napkin holder, leaving him with visible swelling according to police.

Julianne Miller charged with punching roommate in face, kicking her in head while on ground

23-year-old Julianna Miller was jailed on June 4th after beating up her roommate at their home on Old Hickory Boulevard after an argument about difficulties with their living situation. Officers spoke with Alexis Glatz, who said that she and Miller had been arguing throughout the day prior until Miller left. When she returned home, they continued arguing face to face. At some point during the argument, Miller started punching Glatz in the face until she fell to the floor. Once on the floor, she got into the fetal position, where she says she was kicked in the head. Officers observed scratches on her face and large swellings on her forehead in several spots. It is evident that Glatz was struck in the head multiple times. Miller told police that she only assaulted Glatz in self-defense after she pushed her. She had no injuries.

Alyssa Herbst charged with assault of her brother during Nashville trip

21-year-old California tourist Alyssa Herbst is charged with the assault of her brother while on a trip to Nashville this week. Alyssa, her husband Bryce Herbst, and her brother John King, were all walking back to their hotel from Titans Way just before 2 a.m. on May 24. The brother told police he got into an argument with his sister on the pedestrian bridge, and she punched him in the stomach and scratched him. Officers documented visible injuries to his chest and neck, along with a ripped shirt. Bryce confirmed the victim’s account of events, while Alyssa said she did not punch or scratch him. She was determined to be the primary aggressor and taken into custody.

Julius Lorinc assaults his wife after she finds a flash drive in his laundry

44-year-old Julius Lorinc was jailed this week on an outstanding warrant charging him with the domestic assault of his wife, Vanderbilt Doctor & owner of Harpeth Meadows Stables, Amanda Lorinc. Amanda told police she was doing laundry on April 23 when she found a flash drive among her husband’s belongings while folding clothes. She waited for her husband to arrive home and confronted him about the flash drive, and asked him what was on it. He became agitated and pushed and shoved her while attempting to retrieve the flash drive from her grasp. He eventually grabbed her right hand and ripped the flash drive away, leaving a small injury on her hand, which was documented by police. During the incident, she says he also pushed her onto the bed while holding her neck. A warrant was issued for his arrest, and he was booked into custody this week.

Samaneh Moradi follows husband around home, assaulting him; he has her jailed

33-year-old Samaneh Moradi is charged with the assault of her husband, Hassan Tehrani, as police documented injuries on his arms, wrists, shoulder, hands, and back on May 25. Police responded to their Nolensville Pike home, where the victim stated his wife was in an argument and became upset when he started to record her with his phone. She is captured on the video following him around the home and assaulting him multiple times with slaps, punches, and fingernail scratches. Her husband stated he wanted to prosecute for the assault, and she was taken into custody.

Gratton Rider charged in drunken rage assault of girlfriend, who he was visiting in Nashville

28-year-old Gratton Rider was jailed Thursday in Nashville, charged with the domestic assault of his girlfriend, Lindsey Smith. She had picked him up at the airport just before the incident, as he was coming into town to visit. She says he was already heavily intoxicated when she arrived, and he demanded they stop and get a vape pen on the way home; however, no stores were open that late at night. She continued home and attempted to “make him happy by playing a card game,” according to an arrest report.

When he began to lose the card game, Rider became even more angry and upset. She says he grabbed her by the arms and slammed her into a wall in the hallway, and she was able to escape to her bedroom. Rider reportedly came into her room and stood over her as she sat on her bed. She says she remembers him raising his fist at her and then the back of her head hitting the wall as he assaulted her. Officers documented multiple injuries on the victim, including a swollen eye and bruises on her face and arm.

Tourist Britt Johnson charged in assault of girlfriend in Nashville hotel room

31-year-old Britt Johnson was jailed on May 5th after assaulting his girlfriend on Music Valley Drive. Police saw Johnson sleeping outside of the hotel room. He was startled when the officers woke him and appeared to be intoxicated, slurring his words, unsteady on his feet, and smelled of alcohol. He told police his wife had kicked him out of the hotel room.

When officers entered the room to speak to Jennifer Rodriguez, she was crying and pointed at her face. Officers saw cuts on her face, objects in the room that were thrown around, and blood on the bed. She wouldn’t tell officers exactly what happened, but she said she was scared of Johnson and wanted him to leave. Officers asked Jennifer if Johnson put his hands on her, and she nodded her head yes but wouldn’t give further details. Due to the evidence on the scene and injuries to Jennifer’s face, police determined Johnson as the primary aggressor.

Justin ‘Shipwreck’ Canuti charged in assault of girlfriend in downtown Nashville

30-year-old Justin Canuti was jailed on May 9th after assaulting his girlfriend in a drunken rage under the Shelby Street Bridge. A witness told police she was flagged down and saw Cantui and Savanna Wallace arguing. During the argument, she saw Cantui slap Wallace so hard that he split the skin on her cheek. Police tried to speak with Wallace, and she was uncooperative, but they observed the laceration on her cheek that required stitches. Canuti told police that Wallace started yelling at him about where he had been and things of that nature, then got in his face angrily and swung at him. Canuti said he blocked the punch and pushed her, causing her to fall. When she got up, she started yelling and hitting him again.

Canuti told police he let Wallace know that he would defend himself if she didn’t stop. Then he kicked her in the leg, causing her to fall again, and she got up and continued hitting him. Police could smell alcohol coming from Canuti and observed his bloodshot watery eyes. His speech was slurred as he told his side of the story, which was inconsistent with the statement given by Wallace. Due to his level of intoxication, he was a danger to himself and others and was taken into custody.
