DUI: Khristen Jones flees into woods after crash, claims her friend ‘Brad’ was driving her car

Witnesses say 31-year-old Khristen Jones rear-ended another vehicle near Old Hickory Blvd & Bellevue Rd and continued to drive toward Highway 100 before she exited the driver’s side of her vehicle and walked into the woods. As first responders arrived she emerged from the woodline, reeking of alcohol. She told police she had “could have had a couple of drinks” but her friend ‘Brad’ was driving, not her. She refused field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI.

DUI: Logan McCann crashes car in front of officers in Antioch after ‘one beer’

Metro Nashville Police were investigating an abandoned vehicle near the Bell Rd exit at I-24 when suddenly 29-year-old Logan McCann rear-ended another vehicle in front of officers. He exited his vehicle and stumbled toward officers, and stated he had just been at an East Nashville restaurant where he had consumed 1 beer. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests, and agreed to a blood draw, however, he backed out of that decision once at the hospital. He was also on multiple medications which have warnings against taking with alcohol.

DUI: Police knock on Jordan Rafferty’s door when she simply goes home after a hit-and-run

27-year-old Jordan Rafferty blew a 0.183% BAC on a breathalyzer when police eventually tracked her down and knocked on her door after she crashed her silver Mazda sedan into a flatbed construction vehicle on Murphy Road and fled the scene. Her car sustained “severe front end damage” and was located in the parking lot of her apartment complex with all airbags deployed. She claims someone at the scene told her to drive home and not worry about it. Witnesses at the scene say she fled the scene as quickly as she collided with the truck. Her Instagram story revealed her at a table with drinks at Otto’s Bar just before the hit-and-run. Rafferty admitted to having “a few glasses” of wine.

75-year-old Gerald McClure charged with DUI as he’s turning into liquor store parking lot

75-year-old Gerald McClure was pulling into the 31-W Liquor store parking lot when another vehicle struck his truck as he was turning across two lanes of traffic. while investigating the accident, it became apparent McClure was intoxicated and admitted to drinking prior to driving. He was charged with DUI and was freed on pre-trial release just over two hours later, with 40 minutes remaining until the liquor store closed for the night.

DUI: Anthony Denton drunk drove himself to the police station, did field sobriety tests in the parking lot

Goodlettsville Police officers were standing in the rear of police headquarters Saturday when 32-year-old Anthony Denton drove his Chrysler sedan into the rear parking lot and over a curb while officers watched. He told them he had come to city hall to help his brother, who he said worked for the city. In the middle of performing field sobriety tests, Denton stopped and stated he was intoxicated. He was charged with DUI.

Bryan Bosworth-Smith passes out in drive-thru for 25 minutes with handgun after smoking questionable marijuana

Police found 20-year-old Bryan Bosworth-Smith passed out in the driver’s seat of his vehicle at a McDonald’s drive-thru with a pistol in his right hand and his car in drive on Saturday. Officers attempted to immobilize the vehicle using their patrol cars and used a loudspeaker, lights, sirens, for over 25 minutes while knocking on his window until he finally woke up in a state of shock and panic – taking his foot off the brake and continuing to hold his weapon. Once they broke out the glass of his rear window he dropped the weapon and complied. He stated he had smoked marijuana which he had bought via a phone app prior to driving.

Kathleen Nannie blows 0.225% BAC after fleeing scene of crash in downtown Nashville

Police found 20-year-old Kathleen Nannie outside of her vehicle at 1301 Division Street, sitting with security staff after she crashed into another vehicle near 17th and Broadway and fled. She told police she had two drinks with vodka prior to driving. She refused to answer any questions without a lawyer being present but did state she would not pass a breath test and then continued to state “I shouldn’t have been drinking and driving”, according to police. She eventually took a breathalyzer and blew a 0.225% BAC, almost triple the legal limit.

DUI: Alex Hernandez jumps out of his own driver’s seat, chases vehicle in downtown Nashville

32-year-old Alex Hernandez was attempting to drive his silver van out of the parking garage near 3rd Ave & Broadway in downtown Nashville when he suddenly stepped out of the driver’s side door while the van continued to roll onto 3rd Avenue with passengers inside. He chased the van to get it to stop, and hopped back into the driver’s seat, catching the eye of an officer who was stuck in traffic while responding to another nearby call. Hernandez admitted to having three beers prior to driving and “respectfully declined” to participate in field sobriety tests. All the passengers had also been drinking, so the officer drove the defendant’s vehicle back into the parking garage so it would be safely parked and not be towed. Hernandez was charged with DUI.
