28-year-old Dakota Miles was jailed on January 11th after reports of a white Nissan stationary in the middle lane on I-24. When officers arrived on the scene, they observed the driver of the Nissan to be unconscious with a pulse. Metro Fire arrived on the scene and administered four doses of Narcan to bring the driver back to consciousness. Officers located a wallet in the driver’s seat and positively identified Dakota. The officers asked Dakota if he had any needles on his person, to which he replied that he did not. But when officers began searching Dakota, they located a capped syringe and a clear baggie of fentanyl. Dakota was arrested and transported to Centennial Hospital for a blood sample. While in the hospital, Dakota told officers, “It was Fentanyl.”.

DUI: Heather Stevens drinks before crashing car on Lebanon Pike
42-year-old Heather Stevens was jailed on January 11th after crashing her car on Lebanon Pike. When police arrived, Stevens was under the care of the Nashville Fire Department. The officers made contact with two witnesses, Ms. Denise Brown and Mr. James Raley. The couple stated that they observed Ms. Stevens in the driver’s seat of her vehicle, pale-skinned, sweaty, in and out of consciousness, and drooling. After being evaluated in the ambulance, Stevens was asked to perform sobriety tests. She performed poorly, was placed into custody, and transported to booking.
18-year-old Alexander Gordon booked after trespassing in parking garage
18-year-old Alexander Gordon was issued a citation on December 20th after video surveillance showed five males with backpacks entering a parking garage on Church Street. Most of the males were juveniles, and the property was marked “NO TRESPASSING.” When police arrived, they located the group in a vehicle that didn’t belong to them, apparently amid their attempt to steal it. All five males ran away, and their description was put out by radio. Gordon was located across the street at the Double Tree Hotel and arrested. Initially, he said he was never in the parking garage but later admitted he was. Gordon has no prior criminal history. Gordon was booked on the citation on January 5th.
Ryan McNeill jailed after urinating in front of Centennial Hospital
45-year-old Ryan McNeill was jailed on January 9th after police caught him urinating outside of Centennial Hospital on Patterson Street. McNeill then went inside the hospital and began to cause a disturbance. He refused treatment but also refused to leave the hospital. McNeil was yelling and being so disruptive that the hospital staff could not conduct regular business. When the police asked McNeill to identify himself, he refused to give any information. Due to this, Ryan McNeill was taken into custody and charged with criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.
DUI: Gary Satyshur charged after driving on wrong side of road, brought drugs into jail
66-year-old Gary Satyshur was driving the wrong way on Old Hickory Blvd near Woodbury Falls Drive in the early hours of January 11th. Officers observed the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop, noting the car had mud on the right front tire and damage to the bumper. Satyshur was reportedly not able to make sense of his surroundings and had slurred speech, as well as reeking of alcohol. He initially admitted to having one vodka tonic at 6 p.m. He then later said he had two vodka tonics at 7 p.m. Satyshur attempted field sobriety tests but was unable to keep his eyes open or maintain his balance. Medics were called to clear him due to possible low blood sugar. Medics declared Satyshur was medically ok, with regular blood sugar readings. He was transported to booking, where intake officers discovered three Gabapentin pills in his pocket.
Glenn Sharber booked for trespassing on MDHA property
23-year-old Glenn Sharber was booked for trespassing and evading arrest on 12th Avenue South on January 8th. Officers responded to a call regarding a black male with dreads and a pink backpack pointing a gun at someone on December 2nd. When officers arrived, they noticed Sharber, who matched the description given in the call. Sharber was walking towards the building when officers ordered him to stop. Sharber then banged on the door to be let into the residence and closed the door behind him. Sharber exited via the back of the residence, where another officer was present. During the investigation, officers learned that Sharber was on the MDHA banned list for all properties. Sharber was given a state citation for criminal trespassing and evading arrest. Leah Johnson kicks security officer in chest after refusing to leave Southern Hills Hospital
20-year-old Leah Johnson was booked on January 8th after kicking a security officer at Southern Hills Hospital. On December 16th, Kenneth Thomas, a security officer with Blueline security, advised officers that he told Leah Johnson to exit from the patient area of the hospital. Johnson refused to leave and kicked Thomas in the chest when he detained her to escort her out of the hospital. Due to Thomas not sustaining any visible injuries, Johnson qualified for citation. Leah Johnson was booked on the citation of assault on January 8th.
Michael Bradley throws bowl of cereal at fiancé’s head after threatening to kill her
31-year-old Michael Bradley was booked on the summons of domestic assault on January 8th for assaulting his fiancé at her Shadowood Drive home on December 22nd. Emily Villela, Bradley’s fiancé, and their infant child, Luca Bradley, were at the residence with Bradley when the assault occurred. Emily advised that she, Michael, and their child were supposed to travel to New York for Christmas, but Michael thought she was taking the child away from him. Emily stated that she had no intention of taking their child away. Michael responded by telling Emily that he was going to kill her. Michael then threw a bowl of cereal at Emily’s head; after that, he grabbed her by the throat and pushed her to the ground. Emily tried to push him away, but Michael grabbed her wrists, causing scratches and redness to her right wrist and left thumb. Emily also had scratches and redness on her face as well. Despite this, Emily did not want to prosecute. Michael was not on the scene for questioning. Michael Bradley was booked on the summons of assault on January 8th.
Heather Spears kicks beer bottle at woman during altercation with husband
53-year-old Heather Spears was booked on a citation for her involvement in an altercation near her home on Laurel Park Drive on December 24th. Officers arrived at the area responding to a fight between Heather Spears and Jennifer Harwell. Officers spoke to both women and a witness to the incident, Brandall Gower, who is also Spears’ husband. Harwell advised that she met Gower when they were walking their dogs around the apartment complex. Harwell and Gower were sitting, talking, and having drinks when Spears came out of her and Gower’s apartment upset. Spears was upset because Gower was hanging out with people in the apartment complex instead of spending Christmas Eve at home. Spears proceeded to kick a beer bottle at Harwell, shattering it and causing the glass to land in Harwell’s lap. Harwell advised that she feared for her safety and was afraid Spears would continue to escalate the situation. Gower corroborated the story given by Harwell. Spears admitted to kicking the beer bottle and was cited. Heather Spears was booked on the citation on January 8th.
Herschel Bischoff accuses daughter’s husband of kidnapping her to Jamaica
52-year-old Herschel Bischoff was jailed on January 10th after his daughter and her husband reported him for harassment. On November 15th, 2023, Brittany McQueen and her husband, Steve McQueen, reported to police that Bischoff had repeatedly been harassing them. Brittany also stated that she has made it clear that she does not want any contact with her family. Despite this, Bischoff posted on social media numerous times advising that Brittany is missing and that her husband had kidnapped her, taking her to Jamaica. He would then ask family members to help and contact Brittany regarding the supposed kidnapping. Bischoff has also repeatedly called Brittany and Steve from multiple numbers made on WhatsApp to contact them. Steve stated that Bischoff would repeatedly call him and accuse him of kidnapping his daughter in addition to trafficking underage girls. Steve advised that Bischoff would also call him numerous racial slurs and derogatory names as well. Brittany recently obtained an order of protection against Bischoff, which has yet to be served. Brittany and Steve have had to change their numbers multiple times to get Bischoff to stop calling them. Herschel Bischoff was taken into custody and charged with two counts of harassment on January 10th.
