Maurilio Teletor Jimenez charged with DUI from passenger seat in stranger’s driveway

25-year-old Maurilio Teletor Jimenez was found asleep in the passenger seat of a vehicle in a stranger’s West Nashville driveway on February 4. Officers responded and found the vehicle running and at least a dozen empty beer cans scattered in both floorboards. It took a sternum rub to wake the driver. As he woke up, he attempted to grab the steering wheel and also searched for an unopened can of beer.

Nashville Police arrest man on drugs at Rescue Mission — Patrick Miller

31-year-old Patrick Miller was pointed out by the staff of the Nashville Rescue Mission to the police as someone who wasn’t allowed to be at the mission. Officers spoke with Miller, who refused to leave as he had nowhere else to go, and noticed he had very dilated pupils and was making incoherent statements. He was taken into custody and charged with criminal trespass and public intoxication.

Zachary Owen says he can break into Opry Mills Mall because his family are all country singers.

40-year-old Zachary Owen told police he was attempting to enter Opry Mills Mall at 1:30 a.m. on February 6 to “hang out inside” and that he’s allowed on the property because “all his family are country singers.” Mall Security had caught him inside the mall after-hours the previous day and escorted him off the property. Owen was transported to booking and charged with criminal trespass.

Ashley Young rams vehicle of her boyfriend and his co-worker in rage incident

31-year-old Ashley Young was booked this week on two outstanding felony warrants from December 2020. Police say her boyfriend, Brent Gales, was riding in a car driven by his co-worker, Taylor Means. Ashley Young was driving a black GMC Terrain when she began to follow them on Rosa Parks Blvd. When Taylor attempted to turn left, Ashley rammed into the left side of her vehicle, forcing it off the road. Ashley then circled the car three times while screaming, “What are you doing with her?” She then fled the scene. Brent was able to identify his girlfriend and her vehicle positively and was unsure why she was upset he was with a co-worker.

19-year-old Saniya Robinson says she was with her 20-year-old boyfriend, Lavelldo Washington, on February 4 when she noticed he had called his ex-girlfriend while they were in a vehicle together. An argument ensued Saniya shoved Lavelldo, and in return, he threw a phone at her head, leaving her with a large knot in the center of her forehead. She says Lavello also punched her in the face. After the scuffle, Saniya admits she went into Lavelldo’s house and destroyed his $500 cologne, Apple 7 watch, and a pair of Airpod Pros.

Eric Elliott uses fake $100 bill to buy coffee & cigarettes at Nashville gas station

Police say 46-year-old Eric Elliot attempted to pas a fake $100 bill at the RaceTrac on Gallatin Pike on February 5. The manager at the location, Tnysha Allen, stated Elliott entered the store and attempted to buy cigarettes and coffee with the fake currency. When confronted by the manger, he took the money and left the store, but produced the bill for police when they located him.

Steffany Hamner abandons child in downtown Nashville after assaulting her with boot

Nashville police say 41-year-old Steffany Rose Hamner was at several bars on Broadway in downtown Nashville Saturday with her 13-year-old daughter. As they were walking at 2nd & Broadway, they were “playing” by grabbing each other’s hair. Steffany fell down during the tussle, and when she stood up, she told her daughter, “I’m gonna beat you!” She then removed her boot and began to strike the victim several times, leaving visible injuries on the juvenile. After the assault, Steffany abandoned her daughter in the Entertainment District without a phone or any supervision and without the address of their AirBNB. Medics transported the child to the hospital, and Hamner was located and jailed on charges of domestic assault and child neglect.

Lawrence Storey jailed after MNPD surveils Homeless Shelter for crimes

Metro Nashville Police were conducting surveillance at the Nashville Rescue Mission on February 3 when they observed 58-year-old Lawernce Storey place a small bag in his right boot after a hand-to-hand transaction. Detectives approached Storey and searched him, locating a small baggie with 7.5 grams of crack cocaine in his right boot. They also retrieved $475 in cash, which they seized, along with 1.5 grams of marijuana. Detectives recorded the transaction on video and took Storey into custody.

Walking While Black: Terrel Clack charged while walking on shoulder of Ellington Parkway

27-year-old Terrel Clack was booked this week on an outstanding citation charging him with unlawful walking on a roadway. Metro Nashville Police Officer Cody Jaworski says he encountered Clack walking against traffic on the Northbound side of Ellington Parkway. Clack stated he was attempting to get downtown. Jaworski charged Clark with unlawful walking on a roadway (TN Code § 55-8-178 (2021)
