Joseph Konrath drunkenly fights man for bumping into him on Broadway

41-year-old Joseph Konrath was booked Monday morning when police were notified that two men were actively fighting behind a marked police car. Police were on the corner of Rep John Lewis and Broadway and rushed to the area to find bystanders attempting to break up the fight. The police announced themselves, and the citizens broke off to allow them to take over. As police attempted to separate the men, a drunk woman, Caitlin Chism, repeatedly intervened and had to be removed from the area. Once police separated the involved parties, Joseph Konrath and Isaiah Lofton, police began questioning them. Konrath stated that he “bumped into a dude, and next thing he knows, he was on the ground being arrested.” Police asked him several times what happened, but he couldn’t remember. While conducting a search, officers found an empty beer bottle in his jacket pocket. Konrath was visibly intoxicated and smelled strongly of alcohol. He was taken into custody and continued to be disorderly on the way to booking.

Caitlyn Chism drunkenly tries to stop officers breaking up street fight on New Year’s Day

27-year-old Caitlin Chism had to be physically removed from a fight at the corner of Representative John Lewis Way and Broadway on January 1st. Officers responded to a physical altercation between two men, Isaiah Lofton and Joseph Konrath. When officers tried to separate the involved parties, Chism repeatedly intervened and had to be removed from the scene. When police interacted with Chism, they noticed she was heavily intoxicated and unable to care for herself. Chism was arrested for her safety and taken into custody for public intoxication.

Tamia Taylor deemed too drunk for Broadway

23-year-old Tamia Taylor was booked on January 1st after an altercation at Ole Red on Broadway. When officers made contact with Taylor, they could smell alcohol coming from her breath as she slurred her side of the story. Officers determined Taylor to be a danger to herself and others, so officers took her into custody.

Rolly Cartwright too drunk for Whiskey Row after celebrating the new year

24-year-old Rolly Cartwright was jailed on New Year’s Day at 2 a.m. after police responded to a call of a disorderly person on Broadway. When officers arrived on the scene,  Cartwright had been detained by Whiskey Row security. They advised that he had been kicked out of the bar and continued to try to reenter. When officers made contact with Cartwright, they could smell alcohol coming from his breath, and he appeared visibly intoxicated. He admitted to drinking and was determined to be a danger to others if left unattended in his drunken state.

Jonathan De La Rosa too drunk for Jason Aldean’s Bar in downtown Nashville

25-year-old Jonathan De La Rosa was reportedly acting disorderly at Jason Aldean’s bar on Broadway late New Year’s Eve. Security warned Jonathan about his behavior. He continued to be disruptive, so he was placed into handcuffs and escorted out of the bar due to his level of intoxication. Jonathan was turned over to Metro Nashville Police, who transported him to booking and charged him with public intoxication.

Weston Kimball drunkenly attempts to fight multiple people at FGL House on New Year’s Eve

21-year-old Weston Lee Kimball was at FGL House on 3rd Avenue South, attempting to fight other patrons late December 31st. Officers arrived and noticed Kimball to be highly intoxicated. Kimball reportedly kept trying to fight other patrons of the bar. Kimball angrily repeated himself numerous times and was confused about being detained. Kimball was deemed a danger to himself and was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Alex Sheffer jailed after breakup with girlfriend in Nashville

21-year-old Alex Myer Sheffer was screaming at his at-the-time girlfriend on a bench near Broadway early January 1st. Officers patrolling nearby overheard the yelling, went toward it, and observed Sheffer being aggressive, so they separated him from her. Sheffer was visibly intoxicated as he advised them that he had broken up with his girlfriend and that they got into a verbal altercation. Sheffer admitted to consuming alcohol and was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

Drunken tourist Kameron King attempts to fight everyone he meets in Nashville

21-year-old Kameron King of Chunky, MS, was irate and yelling at security at The Lookout at Ole Red late Saturday night when he escalated to fighting other patrons. As he was being removed from the bar by security, he continuously shouted, ‘I’ll fuck that motherfucker up!” While en route to booking, King told police he was glad he was arrested; otherwise, he would “kill that motherfucker!” Once at booking, he attempted to fight other arrestees in the transfer room.

Tourist David Poulin kicks bouncer on the ground, destroys his cell phone at Layla’s Honky Tonk in downtown Nashville

21-year-old David Poulin observed a bouncer at Layla’s Honky Tonk tackle a patron, Luke Lovorn, to the ground Saturday evening, and as he approached, they began to wrestle on the ground. Poulin kicked the bouncer, Rodney Cook, and took the bouncer’s cell phone and smashed it onto the ground, destroying it. Officers arrived and placed Poulin into cuffs as he attempted to flee and fell to the ground a short distance away.
