Andrew Keane deemed too drunk for Nashville International Airport

38-year-old Andrew Christopher Keane was stumbling and weaving through the crosswalk on his way into the Nashville Airport Terminal on December 23rd.  Officers approached him and observed him to be highly intoxicated and slow to answer questions. He admitted to drinking but never told them how much. They took him to get rebooked for a later flight. Later, officers were called back to Keane when he was denied boarding and began causing a disturbance at the gate counter. He was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Aaron Moran drunkenly attempts to break into vehicles after being kicked out of multiple bars

31-year-old Aaron Michael Moran was disorderly at The Mellow Mushroom Bar on Broadway on December 22nd. Security advised officers that Moran had been kicked out of multiple bars and was attempting to get into people’s cars. Moran was visibly intoxicated, sitting on the windowsill of Rippy’s Honky Tonk as officers approached him. They offered him numerous opportunities to call a friend to take him home, but he refused. He was deemed unable to take care of himself and taken into custody for public intoxication.

Indiana tourist William Lirette bites security guard during drunken fight at wrong hotel

29-year-old William Lirette was jailed in the early hours of Saturday morning after he made his way into the wrong hotel and bit a security guard’s arm. Just before 3 a.m. Lirette entered the Conrad Hotel on West End Ave. and went to the third floor, where he insisted he had a room. Security informed him that he was not a guest at the location, and the two began to fight in the hallway. Metro PD was alerted and arrived to find him and security on the ground, where they had been grappling, and Lirette bit the guard on the arm. Officers discovered a hotel keycard for the Aloft Hotel in Lirette’s pocket. He was transported to booking and charged with criminal trespassing and public intoxication.

Laurie Frank deemed too drunk for Nashville International Airport

60-year-old Laurie Frank was drunk in Nashville Airport Tuesday night. Officers arrived at level two of passenger pick-up and observed Frank to be visibly intoxicated. She could not tell them what city or state she was in. They were advised that she was denied boarding to Florida due to her being drunk. Laurie was not able to obtain transportation to a hotel and had nobody local to pick her up. Laurie Frank was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Cody Nelson drunkenly charges at friend group downtown, fights them

35-year-old Cody Edward Nelson had a scuffle on Broadway the morning of December 17th. Officers broke up the fight, and Nelson tried to flee. They told him not to leave and that he was detained, and he said, “No.” The other party involved advised officers that Nelson was following their group, began screaming at them, and charged at them when they were crossing the road. Officers spoke with Nelson, who was visibly intoxicated. They believed he was considered a possible threat to himself and others, so he was placed into custody for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Bryce Anderson refuses to leave Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk in downtown Nashville

22-year-old Bryce Anderson refused to leave Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk in Downtown Nashville the night of December 15th. The complainant flagged down officers and advised them that Anderson had been told to leave the bar and snuck in three times. He did not wish to prosecute Anderson. Anderson was visibly intoxicated, as officers tried to ascertain where he was staying or if he had anyone who could take care of him but were unsuccessful. Anderson was deemed a danger to himself and taken into custody for public intoxication.

Brenda Bradley deemed too drunk for Nashville International Airport

56-year-old Brenda Bradley was jailed on December 12th after police responded to BNA for a female passenger who had fallen at Pharmacy Burger. Police observed Bradley to be disoriented, confused, and smelling of alcohol. When police asked her if she had any alcohol to drink, she replied, “Yes, I’ve had many.” She searched in her bag for an extended period, looking for her driver’s license before stating, “I’m confused; what did you want?” The police repeated that they needed her driver’s license, but she could not present it. When the officers asked Bradley if she knew where she was, she hesitated before replying that she was in Florida. She was then arrested as she was a danger to herself.

Harvie Alay-Muralles drunkenly flees car accident

22-year-old Harvie Joel Alay-Muralles was involved in a car accident at the intersection of Bell Road and Blue Hole Road on December 9th. Officers arrived and spoke with the involved parties when Alay-Muralles returned to the scene. Witnesses at the scene identified him as one of the individuals in the at-fault vehicle. Alay-Muralles was observed to be visibly intoxicated as they Mirandized and placed him into custody for leaving the scene of an accident and public intoxication.
