Jose Gonzalez deemed too drunk for downtown Nashville

29-year-old Jose Gonzalez was observed outside of Mellow Mushroom in downtown Nashville to be highly intoxicated and unable to care for himself. He could barely stand and reeked of alcohol, according to police. He was offered medical treatment and transport but refused all services. Unable to locate his friends to retrieve him, officers took him into custody and charged him with public intoxication. Once at holding, he vomited everywhere yet continued to insist he was ‘fine’ and just wanted the handcuffs off.

Erika Conover was no match for Nashville liquor at 6 p.m. on a Friday

46-year-old Erika Conover was found by a citizen near 1 Symphony Place in downtown Nashville just after 6 p.m. Friday, extremely intoxicated and unable to care for herself. An officer was flagged down and attempted to assist Conover as she stated she was trying to get to her AirBNB. However, the app on her phone showed she had not yet booked it, and her card on file was declined when she attempted to do so. Conover kept getting drunkenly distracted and telling the female officer how much she loved her during the interaction and begged her not to be mad at her. The officer took Conover to the Moxy Hotel, where she attempted to get a room, but she did not have her credit card available. Unable to locate any of her friends and her having nowhere safe to stay, Conover was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

Michael Sealy charged with public intoxication after injuring himself at Honky Tonk Central in downtown Nashville

35-year-old Michael Sealy reportedly fell and injured himself at Honky Tonk Central Saturday night, leaving him with a small laceration to the back of his head. Medics arrived to assist him, but he refused all medical treatment and transportation. Unable to leave him by himself due to his extreme level of intoxication, Sealy was taken into custody by police and charged with public intoxication. 

Tourist Tyler Vandermartin jailed after wild night at Tootsie’s in downtown Nashville

25-year-old Tyler Vandermartin of Pennsylvania was jailed in Nashville late Friday night on nearly a half-dozen charges after assaulting staff at Tootsie’s Bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville. He had been asked to leave due to his disruptive behavior. As he was being escorted out, he began to lunge at the bouncers, causing them to be in fear of imminent bodily injury, according to police. As he was being turned over to Metro Nashville Police, he attempted to kick the officers multiple times during his arrest and search of his person. He was visibly intoxicated and a general annoyance to the general public.

Tourist Matthew Jacobson jailed after being bounced from Honky Tonk Central

39-year-old tourist Matthew Jacobson was kicked out of Honkey Tonk Central late Thursday night on Broadway in downtown Nashville and told not to return due to his disorderly and aggressive behavior towards staff. Just after midnight, Jacobson returned to the bar and attempted to get back inside while being aggressive with security once again. He was told he could not enter, and nearby Metro Nashville Police officers observed him to be highly intoxicated and having trouble standing. He was taken into custody and transported to booking.

Samuel Ravnaas too drunk and disorderly for Broadway

27-year-old Samuel Ravnaas was walking into a closed and barricaded construction area in the early hours of Friday morning, near where a bridge was under construction. He refused to stop for police and ignored the construction workers. Eventually, an officer had to use his patrol car to block his path. Upon contact, Ravnaas reeked of alcohol and was unable to care for himself.

Yvonne Ceniceros — too drunk to fly at Nashville International Airport

36-year-old Yvonne Ceniceros was denied boarding her United Airlines flight at the Nashville Internation Airport Saturday afternoon due to her level of intoxication. She became disruptive, and Airport Police made contact with her, giving her the option to re-book her flight or take a ride-share service to a local hotel for the night. She drunkenly ran away from officers and into traffic. Due to her inability to care for herself, Ceniceros was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Sabrina Beckman, 66, jailed for public intoxication during CMA Fest in Nashville

66-year-old Sabrina Beckman was jailed for public intoxication during CMA Fest this weekend when security at The Stage on Broadway observed her extreme level of intoxication at their bar. Officers were called to check on her welfare and escorted her outside. She had trouble standing and walking and was visibly overly intoxicated. She was offered the opportunity to be transported to the hospital for medical assistance, but refused all assistance and refused to call anyone to get her back to her hotel safely.

Daniel White found drunk in kitchen of Broadway Brewhouse during CMA Fest

22-year-old Daniel White was jailed Sunday after police found him in the kitchen area of the Broadway Brewhouse. Police escorted him out and noticed a few small abrasions on his face. White refused all treatment offered. He couldn’t tell the police where he lived or was staying and had no one to pick him up. He also locked himself out of his cell phone, at which point he was taken into custody as he could not care for himself.
