30-year-old Deborah Louise Lumbard was speeding near Ashland City Highway and Pecan Valley Road around 2:53 p.m. on May 30th, 2023. Officers observed her going 75 mph in a 55 mph zone, conducted a traffic stop, and cited her for the incident that day. After failing to appear in court, Lumbard was booked on the citation for speeding over 75 mph on April 18th, 2024.

Jordana Vander Eyk booked after failing to appear in court for expired registration
24-year-old Jordana Louise Vander Eyk drove her Nissan Rogue with expired tags on Highway 100 near Collins Drive on May 3rd, 2023. Officers observed this and conducted a traffic stop. During the stop officers discovered that Vander Eyk had a 30-day residency license issued to her in 2021. Then, officers cited Vander Eyk for the incident. She did not pay the fine or appear in court by June 23rd, 2023. So, a warrant was issued for Vander Eyk’s arrest. Vander Eyk was booked on the citations of expired registration and failing to update her address with the state from 2021-2024 on March 28th.
Franklin Attorney Dustin Ray Spain fails to appear in court after speeding in Tesla
42-year-old Dustin Ray Spain, owner of Grassland Financial Services, sped in his Tesla on Ashland City Highway near Old Hickory Boulevard early July 25th, 2023, according to police. Officers reportedly observed Spain traveling 68 mph in a 50 mph zone and conducted a traffic stop where they discovered his tags had been expired since May 2023. Spain was cited for speeding and having expired tags. Spain failed to appear for an October 2023 court date, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Dustin Spain was taken back into custody on March 7th.
Evelyn Araujo drives with expired tags, fails to appear in court
23-year-old Evelyn Miranda Araujo was driving on I-40 W with expired tags on July 16th. Officers observed this, conducted a traffic stop, and cited her for the violation. Araujo failed to appear in court and was booked on a summons on December 2nd.
James Werdeniuk charged with DUI after speeding on Briley Parkway
42-year-old James Werdeniuk was traveling at 70 mph in a 55 mph zone on Briley Parkway on February 4, according to police. During a subsequent traffic stop, Werdeniuk reportedly had slurred speech and signs of apparent intoxication, including smelling of alcohol. Inside the vehicle was a four-pack of Southern Grist, and a bottle of Banana Split liquor. He showed multiple signs of impairment on field sobriety tests and was taken into custody for DUI.
