Alteisha Cole tries to finesse self-checkout at Target on Lebanon Pike #finesse2times

31-year-old Alteisha Trenee Cole stole merchandise from Target on Lebanon Pike in the early hours of February 22nd. Surveillance shows Cole selecting items, placing them in the cart, going to self-checkout, and starting a transaction. During checkout, she entered her membership into the system before scanning two notebooks and two jockey girl clothing items, totaling $33.38, which she paid for while bypassing eight additional clothing items, totaling $132. After this, she left in a black Jeep Wrangler.

On March 5th, she was seen on camera entering the same Target, grabbing merchandise, and going to self-checkout. During the transaction, she scanned and paid for ten items while bypassing twenty-five, totaling $824.97. She then scanned her member ID under “Alteishia Cole” and left the location. On March 13th, warrants were issued for her arrest. Cole was taken into custody for two counts of theft on April 2nd.

Ashley Watson threatens 7-Eleven employee with torch lighter

32-year-old Ashley Watson was taken into custody for assault and criminal trespassing on March 31st. On March 30th, a 7-Eleven employee, Laquita Harris, alerted authorities by pressing the panic button after Watson ran into the establishment. Watson was holding what Harris believed to be a gun and told Harris to call the police. Harris stated she was on FaceTime with her mother for the entirety of the incident. Officers discovered it was not a gun but a torch lighter when they arrived. Officers were advised that Watson had been at the location with a hatchet and a whip on two separate occasions. One of these occurred the night before, during which 7-Eleven staff informed Watson that she was banned from the premises. When officers located Watson, she was detained for the incident.

DUI: Abebaw Tesfaye hits multiple police cars on State Route 45

51-year-old Abebaw Melaku Tesfaye was involved in a three-vehicle collision near State Route 45 and Myatt Drive in the early hours of March 30th. When officers arrived, they observed Tesfaye operating an Amazon delivery semi-truck. Then they spoke with him, and Tesfaye stated he failed to see the red stop light while traveling westbound on SR-45. Tesfaye stated this caused him to hit a marked patrol car, which then rear-ended an additional patrol car. Officers on the scene noted that Tesfaye stumbled out of the truck and was slow to provide his license. He told them he had not slept for 10 hours before the accident. Tesfaye stated he had not consumed any alcohol, consented to sobriety tests, and performed poorly. Tesfaye agreed to provide a blood sample after being informed of implied consent. Tesfaye was taken into custody for driving under the influence.

Matthew Winston trespasses at Greyhound Bus Station after being banned

25-year-old Matthew Colby Winston was taken into custody for criminal impersonation and criminal trespassing on April 3rd. Officers were dispatched to the Greyhound Bus Station on Representative John Lewis Way South. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the staff, who said they had kicked Winston out and banned him from the location earlier that night. Staff said Winston had snuck back inside at some point. Officers located him inside the bus station in the waiting area and detained him. Officers confirmed that Greyhound had a trespass waiver on file for Winston. Winston was taken into custody on April 3rd.

Christopher Silva found slumped in front of Carillon Apartments

49-year-old Christopher Silva was being disorderly at Carillon Apartments on 4th Avenue North on the afternoon of April 2nd. Upon arrival, officers observed him extremely intoxicated and slumped over in front of the establishment. He could not walk in a straight line or stand up independently, so he was deemed him a danger to himself and others. Silva was taken into custody for public intoxication.

DUI: Matthew Vetter drives erratically, crashes car after doing heroin on I-40 West

31-year-old Matthew Taylor Vetter had a single-vehicle accident at Exit 209B near I-40 West around 11:38 a.m. on April 1st. Officers were dispatched to the crash location and spoke with Vetter and his passenger. Vetter told them he had taken an opioid one hour before the collision and does not remember it happening. His female passenger was injured but advised officers that Vetter picked her up, and then they did Heroin. She added that she did not remember the crash but that Vetter was driving erratically. Vetter was taken into custody for driving under the influence.

Collin Foster tackles brother for waving food in his face

28-year-old Collin Foster had a domestic incident with his brother, Tyler Kiger, at their Mohawk Trail residence on April 2nd. When officers arrived, they spoke with Tyler, who stated he and Foster had an argument, which turned physical when he grabbed him and threw him onto the ground, leaving redness around his neck. Foster admitted to taking his brother to the ground but said it was because he waved a bowl of food in front of him during their dispute. He added that he did it in self-defense and released him when the situation de-escalated. Foster was then taken into custody for domestic assault.

Keri Curkendall drunkenly wanders into Nashville Predators game without ticket

43-year-old Keri Lynn Curkendall was taken into custody for public intoxication on April 2nd. Officers observed her at the Bridgestone Arena without a ticket for the Predators game. They noted that Curkendall appeared to not know where she was. Officers approached her and noticed she showed numerous signs of impairment, reeking of alcohol. Curkendall was deemed unable to care for herself and was detained for the incident.

Larron Waller punches girlfriend in face during argument

30-year-old Larron Dave Waller had a domestic incident with his girlfriend, Myjanee Faulk, near the Candlewood Apartment Homes on Harding Place in the early hours of February 4th, 2023. When officers arrived, they spoke with Faulk, who stated that she had argued with Waller in her car, during which he punched her in the face, leaving her cheek swollen. Waller then left the scene. Officers had probable cause to obtain a warrant for his arrest. Waller was taken into custody for domestic assault on April 2nd, 2024.

DUI: Rickey Allen Clinard drinks three 24oz Natural Light Beers before wrecking his vehicle

66-year-old Ricky Allen Clinard wrecked his vehicle on April 2nd. Officers were dispatched to his Chippington Tower I apartment on Berkley Drive. When they arrived, they spoke with Clinard, who confessed to drinking when the accident occurred. Then, Clinard explained that the accident happened an hour before their arrival and did not happen where they were dispatched. Officers noticed he reeked of alcohol as Clinard insisted he wanted to tell them the truth about the incident. Clinard took sobriety tests, performed poorly, and agreed to provide a blood sample. Under Miranda, Clinard stated he had three 24 oz cans of Natural Light beers while he drove. Clinard was transported to Nashville General for the blood draw. Clinard was taken into custody for driving under the influence.
