Noah Clayton loses control of his car while speeding on I-65 South

21-year-old Noah Clayton was booked on the citation of reckless driving on March 19th. On the afternoon of February 24th, officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash on I-65 South near mile marker 81.8. When officers arrived, they spoke with Clayton, who told them he was speeding. Officers gathered witness statements and footage of the incident. The footage showed Clayton driving, disregarding the safety of others, before losing control of his car, causing the crash. Officers then cited Clayton for the incident.

Gary Hale booked after hunting from tree stand with corn pile

75-year-old Gary Hale was booked on the citation of hunting with the aid of bait on March 19th. In the early hours of November 11th, 2023, TWRA agents observed Hale hunting from a tree stand on an Old Hickory Boulevard residence, about 20 yards from a corn pile. He was then cited for the incident. Gary Hale was booked on the citation on March 19th and charged with fish & wildlife violation.

Ryan Long throws cup of ice at police cars from 3rd floor of Jason Aldean’s Rooftop Bar

22-year-old Ryan Michael Long threw a cup of ice from the third floor of Jason Aldean’s Rooftop Bar late March 24th. The ice hit two patrol cars and a pedestrian on the sidewalk. Officers went and advised security at the establishment of the incident. Security told police that they had witnessed Long throwing the cup. Security brought Long down from the rooftop and handed him to the authorities. Long was taken into custody for disorderly conduct.

DUI: Marquice Beasley blows .220% BAC after falling asleep on I-40 West

31-year-old Marquice Beasley was sleeping in the driver’s seat of his vehicle on the left shoulder of I-40 West near mile mark 213.2 late March 23rd. When officers located him, they noticed his car had the gear in drive, and then it began moving slightly but was stopped by the median. When he exited his vehicle, he showed signs of intoxication as he was unsteady on his feet, slurring his words. He reeked of alcohol as he admitted to drinking two beers before driving, and then consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, and then agreed to provide a breath sample after being informed of implied consent, which resulted in .220 BAC%. Beasley was taken into custody for driving under the influence.

Brendan Murphy assaults man while crossing intersection after insulting his wife

29-year-old Brendan Scott Murphy had an altercation with Alfredo Palma Sosa near a crosswalk of an intersection in the early hours of March 23rd. Sosa stated that he and his wife happened to step outside of the crosswalk. Upon seeing this, Murphy made a comment towards Sosa’s wife that he did not appreciate, so Sosa responded, “Do not speak to my wife like that.” The crossing guard allowed the pedestrians to cross the intersection, during which Murphy made another remark towards Sosa and his wife. Murphy then approached the couple from behind and punched Sosa behind his left ear. The punch caused swelling, bleeding, and bruising to Sosa’s head. Murphy was taken into custody for assault.

Mandy McBride found too drunk to speak at Nashville International Airport

44-year-old Mandy McBride was swaying back and forth while sitting near the bathroom near the C/S exit at Nashville International Airport on the night of March 24th. Officers were dispatched to a welfare check on McBride, but she could barely speak when they asked for her information. McBride told officers they could retrieve her ID from her purse, which they used to identify her. At the time, McBride was being escorted by another passenger, who stated he witnessed her have five alcoholic beverages while they were talking. Officers asked McBride to stand up, but she needed assistance even to stand up. When officers helped McBride stand up, they noticed a strong alcoholic odor and deemed her not able to care for herself. McBride was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Brodey Johnson drunkenly runs into the hood of police car

23-year-old Brodey Johnson ran into the hood of a police vehicle near Honky Tonk Central late March 22nd. Officers observed him get off the hood, stumbling and unable to stand up straight, so they assisted him and his friends into a taxi. Johnson and his friends exited the cab 10 minutes later because they did not know where their Air BnB was located. Detectives noticed Johnson still needed assistance to stand and reeked of alcohol, so he was deemed unable to care for himself. Johnson was then taken into custody for public intoxication.

Garry Noah kicked out of Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk for being “overly intoxicated”

38-year-old Garry Alexander Noah was taken into custody for public intoxication on March 23rd. Security at Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk flagged officers down, advising they had an “overly intoxicated” individual, later identified as Noah. Officers attempted to gather his information when they arrived, but he could not answer their questions. Officers could not locate anyone who knew or could care for him, so they deemed him a danger to himself or others and detained him.

TSU professor Brian Nagy exposes himself to neighbor’s doorbell camera multiple times

52-year-old Brian George Nagy, an Assistant Professor at TSU, inappropriately exposed himself to his two neighbors on Meharry Boulevard in the early hours of March 14th. The victims notified the police of the incident and provided them with video footage showing Nagy, at 12:39 a.m., walking up to and facing their camera, yelling, “Take a look at my dick,” and, “You want to see my dick?” After screaming at the camera, he pulled his pants down, exposed his genitals, yelled at the camera again, and walked out of camera view. Three minutes later, he returned to the backyard camera, turned around, and pulled his pants down, showing his bare buttocks. He smacked his buttocks repeatedly for about 14 seconds on the camera before pulling up his pants and leaving. Then, at 1:40 a.m., he approached the backyard camera and showed his buttocks again while sticking up his middle finger from behind before walking out of camera view. He came back a minute later, “mooned” the camera again, left, and at 2:36 a.m., “mooned” the camera for about 5 seconds for a final time.

On March 20th, between 1:33 a.m. and 3:39 a.m., Nagy continued to go to the same neighbor’s camera, flipping them off, yelling obscenities, exposing his buttocks, and placing them in fear for their safety. He was also seen via camera, completely nude, with only a sock covering up his penis while shaking it from side to side. Nagy was taken into custody for four counts of indecent exposure and two counts of stalking on March 22nd.
