Booster Tatyana Burgess jailed after stealing over $2,000 in merchandise across multiple incidents

25-year-old Tatyana Burgess was taken into custody for three counts of theft on February 8th. On April 25th, 2023, Burgess stole $520 worth of merchandise from Academy Sports on Gallatin Pike North and fled before officers arrived. Then, on December 21st, 2023, Mark Wagner, a loss prevention officer, observed Burgess and an unknown individual walk into the Old Navy at Tanger Outlet Mall on Cane Ridge Road, each carrying a bag. Then, Burgess took clothes off the shelves and brought them to the unidentified individual so they could place them in their bags. Once the bags were filled with $1,854.54 worth of items, they walked past the points of sale and left the location. Then, on January 2nd, Burgess and two others, one female and one male, entered the GAP at Tanger Outlet Mall. Burgess walked around the store removing security tags and handing clothes to the male, who concealed them in a blue plastic bag before they left without paying. Officers used store video footage, TN DL pictures, and Facebook to help identify Burgess. Burgess has a history of shoplifting charges in multiple states.

Noah McWilliams caught trespassing in woman’s home by maintenance man

22-year-old Noah Ray McWilliams entered Rolanda Amos’ residence without permission on February 8th. A maintenance man working at the location witnessed McWilliams enter the residence. Once inside, Rolanda Amos observed McWilliams in a bedroom of the home. Amos then yelled at him to leave the home before running outside and calling the police. Around 20 minutes later, officers arrived and spoke with Amos, who advised that McWilliams was still inside. Officers located him in the rear bedroom on the first floor. There were no signs of damage or theft. McWilliams did not have valid identification and did not qualify for a citation, so he was taken into custody for aggravated criminal trespass.

David Torres drunkenly assaults wife, mother-in-law during altercation

38-year-old David Lee Torres had a domestic altercation with his wife, Catrina Ramos, and her mother, Elida Ramos, at their shared Westchester Drive residence on the morning of February 8th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Catrina, who told them that Torres was intoxicated and began to break things inside the house. Catrina said that she went into the living room to lie on the couch, but Torres followed her and flipped the couch over while she was on it. Then, Torres called a friend and started talking about her, so she took his phone. This caused Torres to get angry and push her onto the ground. Catrina’s mother tried to intervene, but Torres pushed her too, placing her in fear of bodily injury. Catrina then tried to get back up, but he pushed her down again, causing an abrasion on her left knee. Torres was taken into custody for two counts of domestic assault.

DUI: Musician Alec Dockery drinks two Moscow Mules before flipping car in crash

31-year-old Alec Dockery, singer in 12 South Band, flipped his car after colliding with a parked car on Nevada Avenue in the early hours of February 9th. When officers arrived, Dockery was standing outside his vehicle, and then he advised them that he was unaware of how the crash occurred. Dockery was evaluated by medics and refused medical services. He stated that he was coming from a friend’s house in east Nashville and had two Moscow Mules about two hours before the accident. Officers observed Dockery to be visibly intoxicated during their interview. Dockery then consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, and provided a breath sample that resulted in 0.169 BAC%. Dockery was taken into custody for driving under the influence.

Larry Mark deemed too drunk for Bridgestone Arena

32-year-old Larry Mark had an incident at the Bridgestone Arena in the early hours of February 9th. When officers arrived, medics advised them that Mark had come up to them, claiming he had been punched. When officers were trying to obtain information, they observed him to be visibly intoxicated and unable to take care of himself. So, medics tried contacting Mark’s friends to get him home. Then, Mark became aggressive with them, so officers intervened and tried to help him find a way home. However, Mark remained uncooperative, so he was deemed a danger to himself and others. Mark was taken into custody for public intoxication on February 9th.

John Vonkleeck indicted on multiple counts of rape, sexual battery

A Davidson County Grand Jury indicted 25-year-old John Everett Vonkleeck for two counts of rape and two counts of sexual battery on February 7th. The indictment alleges Vonkleeck, between the 29th day of July 2023 and the 30th day of July 2023, in Davidson County, Tennessee, before the finding of this indictment, did attempt to commit the offense of rape. In that he, John Everett Vonkleeck, did attempt to engage in unlawful sexual penetration of JL. In addition, Vonkleeck knew or had reason to know that JL was mentally defective, mentally incapacitated or physically helpless against the peace and dignity of the State of Tennessee. Vonkleeck was taken into custody on February 9th.

Marc Miller drunkenly calls security racial slurs at Hank Williams Jr.’s Boogie Bar

29-year-old Marc Alan Miller was disorderly at Hank Williams Jr.’s Boogie Bar in downtown Nashville in the early hours of February 9th. Medical personnel requested the police when Miller became aggressive. When officers arrived, security for the bar advised them that Miller was highly intoxicated, attempting to fight every bar’s door guy from Rep. John Lewis Way down to Broadway. Security explained that Miller had been using racial slurs with them and fell on the ground multiple times. Officers noted that Miller also had vomit covering his hands. Officers attempted to speak with Miller, but due to his intoxication, he needed assistance to stay standing up. When officers asked Miller if he knew where he was, he replied, “Barstool,” which was two blocks away. Miller was taken into custody for public intoxication.

47-year-old Christopher Geary had an altercation with his sister-in-law, Rebecca Lynn Lawton, near Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk around 8 p.m. on February 7th. Christopher and Rebecca were both detained before the officers arrived. Officers reviewed MNPD traffic camera footage from Broadway and 3rd Avenue to see what had occurred between them. Officers reviewed footage that showed Sarah Jane Geary, his co-defendant, starting a fight with Rebecca before Christopher ran towards her and pushed her. Geary was taken into custody for domestic assault.

43-year-old Sarah Jane Geary had an altercation with her sister, Rebecca Lynn Lawton, near Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk around 8 p.m. on February 7th. They were both detained before officers arrived. Officers reviewed MNPD traffic cameras at Broadway and 3rd Avenue to see what occurred between them. Officers reviewed footage showed Lawton trying to de-escalate a confrontation between Geary and another person before Geary pushed her, sparking a fight between them. Geary was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Joshua Miramontes threatens to kill landlord’s family during confrontation over unpaid rent

21-year-old Joshua Miramontes threatened Reynoldo Osejo Maradiaga, his landlord, over the phone on May 5th, 2023. Maradiaga advised that he had rented a room to Miramontes for over a month, and he had recently stopped paying rent. Maradiaga confronted him about this, and Miramontes responded with threats. Miramontes claimed he had a firearm and would kill everyone in the house. Maradiaga said he did not see a firearm, but he did take his comments seriously and was concerned for his family’s safety. Miramontes was taken into custody for harassment on February 7th.
