43-year-old Sarah Jane Geary had an altercation with her sister, Rebecca Lynn Lawton, near Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk around 8 p.m. on February 7th. They were both detained before officers arrived. Officers reviewed MNPD traffic cameras at Broadway and 3rd Avenue to see what occurred between them. Officers reviewed footage showed Lawton trying to de-escalate a confrontation between Geary and another person before Geary pushed her, sparking a fight between them. Geary was taken into custody for domestic assault.
Sarah Jane Geary was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on February 7th, charged with domestic assault. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $1,000.
