Maliyah Ramsey, drunk on wine, goes into a creek near her house

21-year-old Maliyah Gertrude Ramsey was jailed on April 9th after trying to start a fight on Arbor Creek Lane. Family members told police that Ramsey was extremely drunk and trying to get into a creek behind the apartments where they were at. When police arrived, they saw Ramsey walking around aimlessly with her clothes drenched. She smelled strongly of alcohol and admitted to drinking an entire bottle of wine. She was transported to booking as she was a danger to herself and others.

Bernardo Macias: “I’m an accountant who makes $95K a year, I did nothing wrong at all!”

28-year-old Bernardo ‘Bernie’ Macias was jailed on April 8th after becoming irate when EMS wouldn’t let him on the ambulance with his intoxicated brother. His friend started pushing him away, saying, “Bro, don’t do this; let’s go.” Bernado started shoving his friend back, and that’s when the police placed him into custody. The friend did not wish to prosecute; he just wanted his friend to leave and for EMS to transport the brother to the hospital. Bernardo was unsteady on his feet, slurring his words, and smelled strongly of alcohol. He told police several times that he was an accountant at US Bank, had a bachelor’s degree in finance, made $95,000 a year, and did nothing wrong at all.

Drunken tourist Candace Long kicks officer in face after partying in front of Kid Rock’s bar

32-year-old tourist Candace Long was jailed on April 9th after kicking a police officer in the face. Officers working the Entertainment District Unit saw Candace fall down and hit her head in front of Kid Rocks Hoky Tonk. She was heavily intoxicated, unable to stand independently, and could not form a coherent sentence. When she was in the back of the medic UTV, she became combative. Officers tried to calm her down and explain what was happening when she kicked an officer in the face. She then began swinging wildly and punched an officer in the face causing an injury. Officers were eventually able to restrain Candance and place her in custody.

Stephen Nolan tries to fight random pedestrians in downtown Nashville

30-year-old Stephen Nolan was jailed on April 8th for trying to fight pedestrians at Broadway Brewhouse downtown. Police observed Nolan being told multiple times by pedestrians to leave them alone and walk away, but he refused. Officers then spoke with Nolan and could smell alcohol coming from his breath and saw his bloodshot eyes. Officers determined him to be a danger to himself and others and took him into custody.

Jordan Stone charged in assault of boyfriend, Nyitrell, during lovers’ quarrel

25-year-old Jordan Stone was jailed Thursday afternoon after attempting to strangle his boyfriend, Nyitrell Debardelaben. The two had an argument after Stone was talking on the phone with someone else. The scuffle originated in the bedroom and then spilled into the hallway of the Creekwood Drive apartment. Once in the hallway, Stone reportedly placed both hands around Nyitrell’s neck and attempted to strangle him. Officers documented visible marks on the victim’s neck.

Tourist Chad Cox whipped it out and was getting pleasured at Whiskey Bent Saloon

42-year-old tourist Chad Cox was in a closed section of Whiskey Bent Saloon early Sunday morning with his pants around his ankles and his wife performing a sexual act on him. Security asked him to pull up his pants and move along, but on the way out, Cox became aggressive and began to shove bouncers, upset about his failed performance. He was extremely intoxicated and was transported to booking and charged with disorderly conduct.

Jonathan Risen pulls gun on woman who cut him off in Kroger Parking Lot

23-year-old Jonathan Risen was jailed on April 7th after pointing a gun and threatening to shoot a woman that accidentally cut him off in a Kroger parking lot. Deborah Pendley told police that she didn’t see Risen’s car, then he pulled up next to her facing the opposite direction, pointed a gun at her, and told her “Not to f*/k with him, or he would shoot her.” Risen then fled the parking lot, but Pendley had already written down the license plate number. Her husband was also in the vehicle and provided a statement to the police. The tag came back to a white Ford Focus, and a BOLO was announced on the police radio. Risen was spotted turning onto Montchanin Drive and pulled over. All occupants were detained, and Risen was identified as the driver. He told police there was a gun in the vehicle, and it was found underneath the back side passenger seat. Officers conducted a show-up with Pendley on Old Hickory Boulevard, where she positively identified Risen as the person who pulled the gun on her.

Chance Morehead drank at work at downtown bar before earning DUI on 2nd Ave — 0.204% BAC

32-year-old Chance Morehead told police he had “two drinks” while working at a bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville before attempting to drive the wrong way onto 2nd Avenue in the early hours of Sunday morning. As Entertainment District officers alerted him that it was a one-way street, he attempted to turn around but drove all the way onto the pedestrian sidewalk. A traffic stop was conducted, and it was apparent he was heavily intoxicated. Morehead performed poorly on field sobriety tests and blew a 0.204% BAC on a breathalyzer.

Brayden Ezell charged in assault of her brother, breaking into her parents’ room

20-year-old Brayden Ezell was jailed on April 8th after slapping her brother in the face and holding a knife in his direction. Officers responded to Highland View Court, where her brother Joe Yarrito told police that their parents had left the house, and they were given specific instructions not to go into their bedroom. Ezell used a kitchen knife to break into the parents’ room. Yarrito stated that he confronted his sister and told her she shouldn’t be doing that, but she went into their parents’ bedroom anyway and carried a box of documents to her room.

Yarrito followed her and tried to take back the box. He placed one hand on her to prevent her from attacking him and picked up the box when she slapped him across the face. He returned the box of documents to his parent’s room, and Ezell followed. He was standing on one side of the bed, and she picked up the knife she used to pry open the door and pointed it at him, saying, “You don’t know what I’m capable of.” He told police that her statement made him fear for his life. Ezell admitted to using the knife to break into the room and pointing it in her brother’s direction. There was evidence of a forceful entry through the parents’ bedroom door.

Malcolm Smith charged with DUI after being found unresponsive in East Nashville

32-year-old Malcolm Smith was jailed on April 8th after passing out drunk behind the wheel at the intersection of Woodland and 10th Street in East Nashville. When officers arrived, they found Smith passed out in the driver’s seat of his pickup truck with the engine running. He was slumped over and didn’t wake up despite officers banging on the window and shining their flashlights in his eyes. Luckily his doors were unlocked, and officers were able to open them and check on him. Police had to shake him to wake him up. He woke up confused and was slow to answer basic questions. His eyes were bloodshot, and the truck smelled like alcohol. Police asked him to shut off his car and step out of the vehicle. He seemed lethargic in doing so and stumbled when exiting. Smith told police that he had consumed three to five beers earlier that day and agreed to sobriety tests which he performed poorly on. Officers found an empty container of an alcoholic beverage in the vehicle, and Smith was taken to booking.
