35-year-old Launce Wickesberg was found at the GFL House in downtown Nashville, extremely intoxicated, and unable to walk on his own. Police say he was uncooperative, in need of assistance, and a danger to himself. He was charged with public intoxication.
ARREST WARRANT / AFFIDAVIT: |
Officers were dispatched to 120 3rd Av S. Officers spoke with the defendant who appeared to be intoxicated. The defendant had watery bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, had trouble standing on his own, and could not walk on his own.
The defendant was uncooperative with the officer’s questions and continually asked to walk away. Due to the level of intoxication of the defendant, the defendant not being able to care for himself, and the high likelihood that the defendant would be a danger for himself or others, officers placed him into physical custody and charged him with public intoxication. |
