19-year-old Josual Daniel Williams, of Ashland City, was found absolutely intoxicated beyond safety while yelling, screaming, and attempting to fight others on Broadway in downtown Nashville in the early hours of Sunday morning. He admitted to only being 19 and stated he had been out drinking throughout the downtown bars all night long. Officers asked him to stop yelling and being so disorderly, however, he refused and continued to escalate the level of his annoyance to the general public. Williams was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

| ARREST WARRANT / AFFIDAVIT: |
| THE DEFENDANT WAS OBSERVED WALKING WEST ON THE 400 BLOCK OF BROADWAY, YELLING AND SCREAMING. THE DEFENDANT WAS ALSO OBSERVED BY OFFICERS ABOUT TO FIGHT ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL THAT WAS WALKING ON BROADWAY. WHEN OFFICERS ASKED THE DEFENDANT TO STOP HIS YELLING, THE DEFENDANT CONTINUED TO YELL ON THE STREETS CAUSING A PUBLIC ANNOYANCE.
WHILE OFFICERS BEGAN TO CONFRONT THE DEFENDANT, THEY COULD SMELL THE ODOR OF ALCOHOL COMI0NG FROM HIM. OFFICERS ALSO NOTED THAT THE DEFENDANT STATED HE WAS 19 YEARS OLD AND STATED HE HAD BEEN OUT DRINKING THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT. THE DEFENDANT WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY WITHOUT INCIDENT. DUE TO THE ANNOYANCE THAT HE WAS CAUSING TO THE PUBLIC AROUND HIM, OFFICERS CHARGED HIM WITH PUBLIC INTOXICATION. |
