David Herrera-Andino shoots man in face during altercation, leaves him in critical condition

21-year-old David Herrera-Andino was taken into custody on April 11th for an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon that had occurred at a Preserve Circle residence on March 24th. Andino had shot and hit Brillian Amilcar Mercado-Nunez in the face. Andino then fled the scene by having Karla Dayanne Hernandez-Reyes pick him up. Officers on the scene rendered medical aid until paramedics arrived and transported Nunez to Vanderbilt Medical Center, where he was in critical condition. Detectives identified Andino as the shooter via several individuals who were inside the residence during the shooting, and he has since admitted to firing the handgun and shooting Nunez in the face.

Jesus Ordaz-Herrera steals $1,200 worth of sunglasses at Opry Mills Mall

32-year-old Jesus Ordaz-Herrera stole merchandise from Sunglasses Hut at Opry Mills Mall on April 11th. After being notified, officers located him at Tangler Outlets, where he was getting into a Toyota Corolla. They then conducted a traffic stop, where they detained Ordaz-Herrera and three other individuals. During a subsequent search of the car, they found four pairs of sunglasses from Sunglass Hut matching the description of the stolen items. The stolen sunglasses were valued at around $1,200. Ordaz-Herrera was taken into custody for theft.

Jeffrey Hurd tells officers to “f*ck off” after he’s found passed out drunk on Broadway

60-year-old Jeffrey Hurd was found lying on the ground unconscious in the area of 7th Avenue North and Broadway on April 10th. When officers spoke with Hurd, he slurred his words as he told them to “f*ck off.” Officers identified themselves as law enforcement, but Hurd was still being aggressive. Due to the level of Jeffrey Hurd’s intoxication and aggression, he was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Lawrence Baird steals 2023 Ford F-150 from Town and Country Ford dealership

32-year-old Lawrence Baird was caught stealing a 2023 Ford F-150 from Town and Country Ford on February 9th. Officers contacted Jeff Bianchi, who stated that around 6 a.m., a black Hyundai Sonata came onto the property and stole a 2023 Ford F-150. The vehicle was valued at $70,000. The truck was later found in Kentucky and had been located in Cheatham County. The owner of the black Hyundai Sonata was identified as Lawrence Baird. Baird was witnessed driving the stolen vehicle in Montgomery County. When deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop, Lawrence could not be apprehended and fled. During the investigation, law enforcement was provided video footage of Baird in the stolen truck and confirmed that he was driving it. Lawrence Baird was later taken into custody and charged with theft on April 9th.

Luke Farley speeds 84 mph on Murfreesboro Pike

24-Year-Old Luke Farley was seen recklessly driving on Mufresboro Pike on March 27th. Officers observed Farley going 84mph in a 50mph zone. He did not have any insurance and told officers the reason for his speeding was that he saw another vehicle coming into his lane, so he sped up in order to pass them. Officers cited him for the violation, and he was booked on the citation for reckless driving.

DUI: Brandon Parsons walks away from accident after drinking 7 beers, tells police “he crashed”

37-year-old Massage Therapist Brandon Parsons was involved in a car crash at Hillsboro Pike on April 9th. Parsons was located walking away from the crash and did not attempt to contact law enforcement. When officers met with Parsons, he told them that “he crashed” and was trying to get home. Parsons admitted that he drank seven draft beers and then drove in his car. Parsons consented to sobriety tests and performed poorly. Officers informed Parsons about implied consent, but he refused to provide a breath sample. Brandon Parsons was taken into custody and charged with implied consent, driving under the influence, and leaving the scene of an accident.

Brock Wall kicked in face by wife with “extensive martial arts training” during argument over divorce

38-year-old Brock Wall was involved in a domestic altercation with his wife, Jessica Wall, at their Thunderbird Drive residence on April 8th. Upon contact with Jessica, officers observed that there was blood on the side of her head and blood splattered on her clothes. Jessica stated that she and Brock were drinking and got into an argument. The topic of divorce came up, and Brock got upset. Brock then got up and grabbed Jessica by the throat. Jessica stated she has “extensive martial arts training,” so she defended herself by kicking him in the face. When officers met with Brock, he had a bloody rag and a frozen bag of peas on the floor where he was lying. Brock would not give officers any clear statements and stated that his wife’s side of the story was only 95% correct. Brock was transported to Nashville General Hospital, where it was revealed that he had two bite marks on his left shoulder as well as scratch marks. Brock Wall was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault on April 9th.

Kristi Cook booked after disobeying police when daughter threatened to shoot woman

47-year-old Kristi Cook was seen resisting arrest on 2nd Avenue North on March 18th. Cook’s daughter pulled a gun out at the scene and threatened to shoot someone. Officers ordered Cook to stand away from the woman that her daughter was threatening to shoot. Despite this, Cook ran at the female and yelled, “She pulled against me!” Officers cited her for the violation that day. Cook was booked on the citation for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest on April 5th.

Tylin Udley assaults girlfriend during argument

22-year-old Tylin Omar Udley had a domestic incident with his girlfriend, Jalee Sears, at her Susannah Court apartment on April 9th. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Sears, who stated she and Udley had an argument, which escalated when she tried to leave the residence, but he wouldn’t allow her. She added that he had her phone and keys as he stood in front of the exit. When Jalee tried to walk out, he grabbed her, causing a scratch on the back of her shoulder. Jalee said she had to push Udley so she could finally leave and advised the incident lasted about 30 minutes. When they spoke with Udley, he said that they only argued, and nothing else happened. Udley was taken into custody for domestic assault and false imprisonment.
