32-year-old Lawrence Baird was caught stealing a 2023 Ford F-150 from Town and Country Ford on February 9th. Officers contacted Jeff Bianchi, who stated that around 6 a.m., a black Hyundai Sonata came onto the property and stole a 2023 Ford F150. The vehicle was valued at $70,000. The truck was later found in Kentucky and had been located in Cheatham County. The owner of the black Hyundai Sonata was identified as Lawrence Baird. Baird was witnessed driving the stolen vehicle in Montgomery County. When deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop, Lawrence could not be apprehended and fled. During the investigation, law enforcement was provided video footage of Baird in the stolen truck and confirmed that he was driving it. Lawrence Baird was later taken into custody and charged with theft on April 9th.
Lawrence Andrew Baird was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on April 9th, charged with theft. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $40,000.
