Man high and “in his own reality” charged with public intoxication in downtown Nashville — Adam Green

Police found 40-year-old Adam Green “laying on the ground rolling around and punching the air” while investigating a report of someone exposing themselves to people downtown. He explained he had been “practicing martial arts and fell over” onto the ground. When asked if he had been exposing himself, he explained that he wasn’t all there and did not mean to do so, adding that he was high on marijuana, and police note he “seemed to be in his own reality”. He was charged with public intoxication and transported to jail.

Metro Nashville Police say they were speaking to a group of citizens on Broadway in downtown Nashville when 23-year-old Dylan Scott Cosner walked up, stumbled around swaying, leans on an officer for balance, bumped into the other people, and was belligerent. Officers asked him to move along with his friends, but he refused and became verbally aggressive. He was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail, charged with public intoxication.

DUI: Man drinks “a few shots” on drive from Broadway to downtown neighborhood — David Hogan

32-year-old David Hogan admits to driving from “somewhere on Broadway” to near Lipscomb University, and taking “a few shots” along the way. When police responded to the area, they located him leaning against a fence in the backyard of a residence, with his arm through the neck hole of his shirt, and profusely sweating. Neighbors say he left his car parked with its hazards on while he was drunkenly roaming through the neighborhood. He blew a 0.139 BAC.

Drunken tourist charged after urinating in a mop bucket at Nashville Airport: Rishan Chamdal

24-year-old Rishan Chamdal, of Houston, TX, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Sunday night after airport police say he went into the backroom of the District News shop inside concourse D and urinated into a mop bucket. An employee caught him mid-stream, demanding he stop, and when he didn’t (or couldn’t) she called airport police. He resisted arrest and had to be taken to the ground, and caused a disturbance while being escorted out of the building.
