36-year-old Lauren Roberts from North Carolina is charged with the domestic assault of her husband at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel after she grabbed him by the neck and scratched him as he attempted to catch her amid a drunken stumbling fall. Metro Nashville Police say 25-year-old Quantavius Brown grabbed a Draco and held it in his hand as he stated his ex-girlfriend, De’Aushanai Smith, “needed to leave and would do whatever it takes” after the two argued on September 22nd. An order of protection was served on him later that day, but he was not deterred. The following day, Smith unsuccessfully attempted to reach out to her on Instagram and via phone to persuade her not to testify against him. Hours later, she began receiving messages from friends and family that Brown had posted multiple videos on social media platforms of them having sex, one of which she wasn’t even aware she was being recorded.
Wedgie Lorrelien charged after biting lover’s finger & pepper spraying him during argument
23-year-old Wedgie Dana Lorrelien called 911 to report her lover of two years, Jean Monelson, refused the Southwood Park Place residence, and she needed him to leave but claimed no physical altercation had taken place. As police arrived on the scene, they interviewed all involved parties and learned that Jean Monelson had injuries to his fingers and neck and was wearing a white t-shirt that appeared to have been ripped and tainted with pepper spray residue. He told police he was trying to leave the apartment and end the relationship when Wedgie started to bite and scratch him, and peppers sprayed him on his way out of the apartment. Wedgie admits to biting one of his fingers and pepper-spraying him but claims it was self-defense. Wedgie Lorrelien was determined to be the primary aggressor and taken into custody.
Joseph Griffith fights brother in attempt to bring gun into Diamante Night Club in south Nashville
21-year-old Joseph Griffith was taken into custody after getting into a fight with his brother, Christopher Griffith, when Christoper attempted to stop him from bringing a gun into the Diamante Night Club in south Nashville. The two physically fought in the parking lot, leaving both with visible injuries to their faces. Joseph was cleared at the hospital and then transported to booking, where a full body scan at intake revealed a 9mm bullet rolled up in the front pocket of his jeans.
Lanikya Harris pins Michelle Render against wall with car before beating her; says she owed her money
Michelle Render says she owed money to 34-year-old Lanikya Harris, who she was supposed to meet at 6 p.m. at a neutral location. As Render was leaving her home for the meetup, she was walking toward Hart Street just south of downtown Nashville and noticed Harris’ car. The two engaged in a verbal altercation, and suddenly Harris jumps a curb in her vehicle, drives through a parking lot, and pins Render against a building. She then put the car in reverse to release the victim, placed the car in park, and exited the vehicle. She approached the victim on foot and continued the physical assault on Render. A nearby neighbor, Eric Wallace, witness the assault from his apartment and confirmed the events to police.
Jordan Gillenwaters charged with punching ex-lover during dispute
22-year-old Jordan Gillenwaters and Antawaun Lacy had recently ended their relationship of two years, and each still resides within the same apartment building. On August 29th, Lacy was sitting on the breezeway steps when Gillenwaters approached him, yelling and calling him names. When a neighbor stepped out and told them to take their problems elsewhere, Gillenwaters punched Lacy in the mouth and fled the scene. Officers documented an injury to Lacy’s lip and took out a warrant for the arrest of Gillenwaters.

In the early hours of Monday morning, Metro Nashville Police responded to a domestic disturbance call at Club Wyndham Nashville on McGavock Pike. The bride-to-be, Madison Pustka, told police her cousin, Karly Pustka, lunged at her while scratching at her neck. Madison says she was just attempting to check on Karly, who had locked herself in the bathroom of the hotel room after getting extremely intoxicated. Madison and another person were able to get past the locked door, which angered Karly, who says she acted in self-defense. Karly was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault with bodily injury.
Tiffany Williams charged after busting girlfriend’s nose; breaking vases and pots in rage
31-year-old Tiffany Marie Williams is charged with the assault of her girlfriend, Rebecca Page-Dolnick. Officers arrived at their Walton Lane residence to find Rebecca bleeding from the bridge of her busted nose and an assortment of broken pots and vases. The victim says the couple had an argument when Williams suddenly attacked her. She attempted to defend herself, but not before she was punched in the nose. Williams admits they were in an argument but states she had been drinking and wasn’t sure of many details.
Jonathan Loyd charged with rape of ex-wife during pimp & hoes themed role-play
37-year-old Jonathan ‘Jonny’ Loyd was jailed Wednesday on two outstanding warrants charging him with rape and domestic assault. An August 2022 affidavit filed by his ex-wife, Ashley Smith, details an incident that occurred in October of 2021 when they were divorced but still living together. Amy Peterson charged with assaulting husband during divorce discussion that got “really crazy”
Bryan Peterson called 911 after an argument with his wife, 32-year-old Amy Westney Peterson, which he described to police as “really crazy.” The argument began as they were discussing getting a divorce. As the discussion escalated, she reportedly put a knife to her own throat, prompting Bryan to call the police for assistance. Bryan says she physically attacked him as he was making the emergency call, and strangled him during the struggle. She is charged with domestic assault.
