29-year-old Cody Hunter had an altercation with his fiancé, Amy Moore, at her apartment at Central Pike on December 16th. She was admitted to the hospital a few hours after the incident when officers arrived to speak with her. She advised them she and Hunter had a few alcoholic beverages, and an argument ensued. She stated Hunter began to push her, so she slapped him in self-defense. Then, Hunter pushed her onto her bed and jumped on top of her. Hunter then struck her in the face repeatedly, got off her, and fled the scene. Officers observed her black eye and a handprint on the right side of her face. Hunter was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault on December 21st.

Alexander Clavey argues with coworker, says he was going to “Whip his a*s”
41-year-old Alexander Joseph Clavet, an employee of Belle Mead Country Club, argued with a co-worker, Anthony Hedgepath, at work on November 28th. Hedgepath advised officers that the altercation was over construction work, and Clavet stated he was going to “Whip his ass” and started to follow him around. Clavet admitted this to officers and was cited for assault. He was booked on the citation on December 19th.
Kathleen Bailey assaults husband of 13 years, tells police she “slapped him around”
72-year-old Kathleen Bailey had a domestic dispute with her husband of 13 years, James Mosely, at Scott Valley Drive on December 23rd. Mosely called the police, advising them that he and Bailey had a verbal argument that turned physical. Bailey could be heard yelling in the background as he called the police a second time to give an update on their situation. Officers arrived and spoke with both parties separately. They observed visible swelling on Mosely’s left leg, but he refused medical attention. He stated he was unsure how he received the injury but informed them that Bailey struck him repeatedly and that he was willing to prosecute. Bailey told them that she grabbed him by the shirt and that after he allegedly hit her, she “slapped him around.” Due to her admission and his visible injuries, she was taken into custody for domestic assault.
Asia McMillian-Whittaker rips boyfriend’s dreads out during argument over Amazon Flex
26-year-old Asia McMillan-Whitaker and her boyfriend, Henry Lee Mitchell, had a domestic scuffle at 11th Avenue North on December 23rd. Mitchell talked to the officers as they arrived and advised them that he and McMillan-Whitaker argued while working Amazon Flex. Then, she pulled him out of the vehicle by his hair, ripping several dreads out. A physical struggle ensued, and she continued to pull his hair and punch him repeatedly. Officers observed the dreads on the ground and spoke with McMillan-Whitaker, who gave a similar account of events, admitting to pulling his dreads when he refused to get out of her vehicle. She was taken into custody for two counts of domestic assault.
Alexandra Gresser slaps boyfriend during argument on Christmas Day
22-year-old Alexandra Gresser had a domestic dispute with her boyfriend, Evan Healey, at Wallace Road on Christmas Day. Gresser spoke with officers and advised them that she and Healey had an argument over their house being messy when her family was coming to visit later that day. She admitted to slapping him once before he left to go to his parents. They spoke with Healey via phone, and he confirmed her statements. He did not wish to prosecute and refused all offered services. They both informed officers that she has severe bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and anxiety. They were notified that she was possibly having a mental episode during the incident since she has been unable to take her prescribed medication since December 14th. Gresser was taken into custody for domestic assault.
18-year-old Warren Cloud punches mother multiple times during argument
18-year-old Warren Cloud had a domestic dispute with his mother, Hope Hall, at her home on Clayton Avenue on December 26th. As officers arrived, Cloud loaded his belongings into a vehicle in front of the house. He ignored them and continued to reach into his car, so they detained him. Hall emerged from the house and was seen by paramedics regarding pain in her ribs but refused to be transported to the hospital. They were advised that she had called the authorities numerous times regarding Cloud assaulting her or damaging items inside her home. She was referred to juvenile court because of his age, but he is an adult as of December 21st. Hall informed them she was standing on the porch arguing with Cloud over a glass door he shattered on December 22nd. She stated he slammed the door, causing more glass to fall, and during the argument, he threw a pizza box at her. Hall then threw the box back at him, and in response, he began to punch her in the ribs repeatedly. They spoke with Cloud, who told them that Hall grabbed him around the neck, so he punched her in the ribs in self-defense. She wished to prosecute and obtain an order of protection. He was taken into custody for domestic assault on December 26th.

38-year-old Brian Barrett had an altercation with his father, Preston Barrett, on Seifried Street Thursday morning. Preston advised offices that he was on the couch when a verbal argument between him and Brian ensued. He walked to the stairs once they began cursing each other, and Brian stood up, walked over to him, and spit on him. Then, he said Brian charged at him, so he punched him in the face repeatedly in self-defense, fearing for his safety. Brian tackled him to the ground before his mother was able to split up the scuffle. Preston provided video evidence corroborating his story, and they deemed Brian the primary aggressor. He was taken into custody for domestic assault.
Amarion Island assaults girlfriend at Bargain Hunt after cheating confrontation
19-year-old Amarion Island had a domestic disagreement with his girlfriend, Keanna Ashante Otey, at Bargain Hunt on Thursday afternoon. Officers responded and spoke with Otey, who advised them that she and Island drove to Bargain Hunt to shop and began arguing regarding Island’s alleged infidelity. The altercation continued in the store, so she went outside to de-escalate the situation. Then, she said Island started punching her, causing her to fall to the ground and striking her face repeatedly. She threatened to have her brother beat him up. Officers observed the visible injuries she sustained. Island spoke with them and confirmed that an argument occurred. He stated he became angry when she threatened to have someone shoot at his mother’s house, which she denied. Island was taken into custody for domestic assault.
Bryan Anderson drunkenly assaults girlfriend during argument about how drunk he was
28-year-old Bryan Anderson was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Rebecca Campbell, at Franklin Pike in the early hours of December 21st. The conflict started with an argument between the couple about Anderson’s intoxication level. The argument escalated when Anderson punched and kicked her, causing visible injuries. Campbell refused medical attention and provided no insight into the incident. She also did not want to prosecute him. Anderson was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.
Throuple Throwdown — Zaida Johnson assaults boyfriend’s wife during argument
19-year-old Zaida Johnson had an altercation with the two other members of her throuple, married couple Damali Sommerville and Rashanda Harris, at Grove Creek on December 20th. Officers arrived and observed Rashanda Harris standing in the living room, holding knives, claiming that Johnson was an intruder. Further investigation revealed Johnson as their third partner, making the trio a throuple. Johnson advised them she was mad about Rashanda breaking the window of Johnson’s apartment in an incident earlier in the day, so she came to their residence to confront Harris. Then, Johnson entered the unlocked apartment, and a scuffle ensued between her and Harris. Johnson stated that she did not initiate the fight, but both Sommerville and Harris said she did by pulling Harris’ hair. Johnson also admitted to damaging their TV because she was angry. Zaida Johnson was taken into custody for domestic assault and vandalism. The other two throuple members have a history of violence as well.
