Elijah Ames booked on years-old theft citation from Home Depot

24-year-old Elijah Ames was caught shoplifting with a friend, Wanda White, at the Home Depot on Bell Road in August 2019. Joseph Socha, a loss preventative associate for Home Depot, advised officers that Ames and White were concealing a $150 drill set in her purse. Officers confirmed their identities and cited them. Ames was booked on the citation of theft on January 8th, years after he was scheduled to be booked initially.

Terry Sampson charged in assault of wife over shared pets, keys to shared vehicle

64-year-old Terry Sampson was involved in a domestic dispute with his wife, Nancy Sampson, on Magnolia Farms Drive on January 9th. Mrs. Sampson spoke with officers and advised them that she and Terry had argued regarding their shared pets and keys since they were separating. Then, she stated that the altercation escalated when he began to strangle her. She said that she started to punch and kick him in self-defense as he held her against a wall. Officers observed a scratch mark and some redness around her neck. Terry told officers that Nancy tugged at his shirt, hitting him, so he pushed her away in the neck area to defend himself. Then, he said she threatened to shoot him but did not have access to a gun. Officers determined that Nancy’s injuries were not consistent with his statements and deemed Terry as the primary aggressor. He was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Aleesa Bradford charged after threatening to kill people at Kroger

26-year-old Aleesa Bradford was issued a citation on December 23rd for threatening to kill two individuals at Kroger on Nolensville Pike. Officers spoke to Amanda Martin, who advised that. Aleesa threatened both her and Mr. Deon Prather’s lives, saying, “I’ll kill you” and “I’ll have people kill you.” Officers could smell alcohol coming from Aleesa. The victims wished to prosecute for the incident, and Bradford was issued a citation for the offense.

Satonya Spicer charged with reckless driving after nearly striking man at school parking lot

39-year-old Satonya Spicer was issued a citation on December 17th for speeding in a 2013 Ford Explorer in a school parking lot on Old Hickory Boulevard. While Fernando Vicente Vasquez was loading equipment into his van, Spicer came speeding into the parking lot, almost striking him. If one of his employees hadn’t seen her speeding toward them and warned Fernando, he believes he would have been hit by her car.

Kenneth Maschek pretends to be a cop, pulls a man’s pants down to “search him”

51-year-old Kenneth Daniel Maschek of Chicago was disorderly at the Sheraton Hotel on Union Street late January 15th. Officers arrived and spoke with the complainant, who advised them that Maschek claimed to be a police officer, threw him to the ground using a hip toss, searched him by pulling his pants down, and detained him in the elevator. The complainant had an acquaintance with him who told officers that Maschek snatched his phone out of his hand. Maschek spoke with officers and told them that he subdued the individuals in the elevator because he thought they had a gun and were going to “shoot up the place.” Officers did not find evidence showing that they had a weapon, but the victim of the hip toss admitted to having loose bullets and a magazine. Maschek was visibly intoxicated and admitted to having “some beers.” Then, he told them that he only claimed to be a police officer because it was a two-on-one situation, and he wanted to intimidate them. The two citizens involved did not wish to prosecute, but Maschek was taken into custody for public intoxication and criminal impersonation of an officer.

DUI: Andrew Mannella drives into head shop, high on Whippets

When police found 29-year-old Andrew Manella on Tuesday afternoon, he had crashed into the side of a head shop on Gallatin Road with a Whippet canister in his hand. He initially claimed his brakes failed as he pulled into the parking lot; however, security video showed him sitting in the parking lot for twenty minutes before pulling over the curb and driving into the building. He admitted to “doing Whippets” but claimed it was several hours ago. A search of the vehicle yielded a large Nitrous Oxide tank, and a total of four canisters, totaling 4.35 liters of the gas.

China Rose charged after fleeing scene of a hit-and-run

26-year-old China Rose was issued a citation on December 5th after a hit-and-run incident on Laurenwood Drive in Antioch. Officers located the owner of the 2017 Jeep Cherokee. Rose admitted to officers that she had just been involved in a crash and left the scene immediately after. Rose was issued a state citation for leaving the scene of an accident and was booked on the charge this week.
