Kyle Bassett indicted by Grand Jury for rape

The Davidson County Grand Jury indicted 25-year-old Kyle Bassett on March 6th after being charged with four counts of rape, a count of aggravated assault, and a count of sexual battery. The indictment alleges that on December 11th, 2023, Kyle Bassett engaged in unlawful sexual penetration by force and strangulation. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $150,000.

Jerson Calderon-Lopez flees police in Infiniti Q50 after being stopped for illegal tint

20-year-old Jerson Calderon-Lopez was booked on March 16th when officers pulled him over in a white Infiniti Q50 with illegal windshield tint. There were reports of a suspicious vehicle with occupants pulling on car door handles in a parking lot on Premier Drive, and Calderon’s Infinity matched the description. The car sped off when police initially tried to conduct a traffic stop. Aviation followed the vehicle and observed four passengers flee on foot onto the railroad tracks near Briley Pike North. Aviation was able to give specific locations and advised that Calderon was hiding on a rockface in the thick brush behind Centennial Boulevard. Police found Calderon and placed him into custody. He admitted to being the driver and not possessing a driver’s license. Calderon also stated that two of the passengers were under 18. Calderon was then transported to General Hospital for a medical clearance before being transported to booking.

Kyle Paisley booked on Kentucky warrant after shoplifting at JCPenney

31-year-old Kyle Paisley was booked on March 15th for shoplifting from JCPenney at the Rivergate Mall. When officers arrived, they observed Kyle outside the store with multiple stolen items. Officers located a black dress priced at $69, another black dress priced at $89, and a black shirt priced at $44. The officers reviewed camera footage that revealed Kyle grabbed the items from the shelf and went behind a wall to put them in his backpack before leaving the store. The items stolen totaled $202. When officers ran Kyle’s information, they discovered an outstanding arrest warrant for stolen property out of Paducah, Kentucky. Paducah stated they would extradite Paisley for the warrant. Paisley was taken into custody on March 15th and charged with theft and fugitive from justice.

DUI: Angel Masis found drunk in the trunk of his vehicle

26-year-old Angel Masis allowed an intoxicated individual to drive his vehicle on March 16th. Officers responded to the separate incident and observed an unidentified individual who had passed out in the car’s driver’s seat, so they removed him. Officers noticed the man was visibly intoxicated. Then, during an inventory search before the vehicle was towed, officers found Masis in the trunk. Masis advised that it was his vehicle that he was driving but did not know how he got in the trunk. Officers noticed Masis reeked of alcohol and took him into custody for driving under the influence-vehicle owner due to him allowing another intoxicated person to drive his vehicle.

Chelsea Sharp refuses to leave Rest Haven Motel, tells police “Y’all are going to have to drag me out of here”

43-year-old Chelsea Sharp was seen refusing to leave a room at the Rest Haven Motel on March 18th. Officers arrived at the mentioned location and contacted the manager, Dev Desai. Desai stated that he wanted an individual who did not sign the rental agreement for a room to leave due to a noise complaint. When officers contacted Sharp, they informed her that she needed to go. Sharp stated, ” I’m not leaving. Y’all are going to have to drag me out of here.” An officer asked Sharp numerous times to leave the hotel, but Sharp sat on the floor and said, “No.”  Sharp was taken into custody and charged with criminal trespassing.

DUI: Courtney Fagerlie crashes car on Gallatin Avenue

29-year-old Courtney Sue Fagerlie was involved in a car accident near Cahal Avenue and Gallatin Avenue in the early hours of March 18th. When the officers arrived, they spoke with Fagerlie, who stated she was turning left onto Gallatin Avenue when she was hit by the other vehicle. The officers noticed she showed signs of impairment, so they asked if she would be willing to perform sobriety tests, which she refused. Then, when they went to detain her, she became resistive, refusing to put her hands behind her back. After a brief struggle, she was safely placed in the back of the patrol car, where she refused to provide a chemical sample. Fagerlie was taken into custody for driving under the influence, implied consent, and resisting arrest.

McKenzie Lowe burns boyfriend with cigarette after finding out he’s been cheating

29-year-old McKenzie Wren Lowe had a domestic incident with her ex-boyfriend, Billy Lee Guy Jr., during a concert at City Winery Nashville on Lafayette Road late March 17th. Officers were dispatched to Pride & Glory Tattoo Parlor on Representative John Lewis Way, where they spoke with Guy Jr., who stated that Lowe got upset after she went through his phone and found out he was talking to other women, which was when she kicked him repeatedly. Then, while he was trying to calm her down, she burned him with a cigarette. Officers observed abrasions on both of his legs, along with scratches and a welt on his forearm. Lowe was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Alexandria Lee booked after allowing another person to start ignition interlock device

29-year-old Alexandria Lee was taken into custody for an ignition interlock device violation on March 19th. In June 2022, Lee was arrested for DUI-2nd offense, and then in February 2023, her case was adjudicated, which was when she had the ignition interlock device installed on her 2013 Kia Optima. On February 15th, 2024, she allowed another person to start her ignition interlock device, which had seven violations, so a warrant was issued for her arrest. Alexandria Lee was taken into custody for an ignition interlock device violation on March 19th.

Zachary Perrizo charged after sending explicit images to minor on Facebook

23-year-old Zachary Lee Perrizo was taken into custody for four counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor and three counts of displaying sex acts to a minor on March 19th. Detectives obtained a search warrant for Perrizo’s Facebook and discovered a set of messages from July 13th, 2022. Perrizo messaged a minor, JV, “I am sorry baby, how does it look down there,” then asked, “May I see?” A short time later, Perrizo brings up JV sending him a picture again, JV then sent an explicit image. There was another instance on July 21st, 2022, when he asked JV if anyone was around her, said that he wanted to show her something that would make her horny, and then sent her an explicit picture of his genitals. Perrizo sent a message stating, “Your turn.” JV then sent an inappropriate image, and Perrizo sent her a video of him masturbating. He told her, “I cannot really see it, baby,” and JV sent another explicit image. Officers also discovered a third exchange between him and JV on October 12th, 2023,, where he asked, “Can I see you out of the shower baby, please?” Then, JV sent him an explicit image, to which he responded by sending a picture of him holding his penis. Perizzo was taken into custody on March 19th.

Nicolas Hall throws rocks at someone for burglarizing his car

18-year-old Nicolas Hall threw rocks at Wilmer Meija-Cantarero and his friends at Super 8 by Wyndham on Bell Road late March 17th. When officers arrived, they spoke to Meija-Cantarero, who advised that Hall yelled at him and his friends before throwing the stones. He further explained that he was renting a room in the same hotel and did not wish to prosecute for the incident. Then, officers spoke with Hall, who stated he and his friends were eating at a restaurant, and when they went to their cars, they discovered their vehicles had been broken into. He said that Meija-Cantarero and his friends were standing outside, so he figured they knew something about who had burglarized their cars, which sparked an argument between the two groups. Hall explained that’s when he began throwing rocks at them. Hall was taken into custody for aggravated assault.
