Saory Espinoza caught with 195 grams of marijuana after friend speeds down Donelson Pike

20-year-old Saory Espinoza rode as a passenger while Joshua Lira sped and swerved between lanes in his silver Infiniti near Donelson Pike around 7:15 p.m. on April 30th. While officers patrolled airport property, they observed this and conducted a traffic stop on the car. Officers noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, giving them probable cause to search the car. During their search, they located a black Calvin Klein backpack in the backseat containing 195 grams of marijuana, separated into small baggies and a small scale. Lira had $350 in cash on his person and advised officers that the contents of the bag belonged to Espinoza. Espinoza corroborated Lira’s claim and admitted the bag was hers. Espinoza was then taken into custody for felony possession of Schedule IV drugs.

Antione Holman attempts to break into multiple rooms at Super 8 Hotel

28-year-old Antione Holman tried to break into random rooms at the Super 8 Hotel on Murfreesboro Pike late April 30th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Sunjay Patel, the establishment’s owner, who stated Holman was trying to enter rooms without being a resident. Patel provided officers with footage showing Holman jumping over the fence before attempting to open several doors. Then, Holman passed the front desk without intent to pay for services, went to room 641, and started pushing against the door, damaging the frame. Afterward, Holman went to room 610, grabbed a large rock, and threw it through the window to enter the room. Patel told officers the window cost approximately $1,400 and that the location had an active trespass waiver on file. Holman was taken into custody for two counts of burglary.

Latorrika Greer puts boyfriend in headlock after he grabs her phone

20-year-old Latorrika Greer had a domestic incident with her boyfriend, Keyan Adriel Williams, at their Lemont Drive residence on April 30th. Upon arrival, officers met with Williams, who advised them that he was lying down in their bedroom and went to pick up Greer’s phone. This caused her to become angry and punch him before pushing him into the wall, causing him to hit his head. Williams said he pushed Greer back while she continued hitting him. Greer then put Williams in a headlock. Following the incident, he said they talked and he told her to leave. After this, Williams went outside and when he returned, he found Greer appearing to be preparing for a shower. This prompted him to go to the bathroom and tell Greer to leave again, she then responded by pushing him.

Merry Williams, Keyan’s mom, told the police she overheard the couple arguing, and when she opened her bedroom door, she saw Greer pushing Williams in the hallway. Merry advised that Keyan then pushed Greer back. Then, officers spoke with Greer, who stated the occurrence started after Williams took her phone, and when he did not return it, she punched him in the arm and pushed him into the wall. She said that he pushed her back, so she put him in a headlock, telling him she would not let go until he returned her phone. Then, she stated she tried to shower, and he entered the bathroom, yelling at her. She told them that they then started pushing each other. Greer was deemed the primary aggressor and taken into custody for domestic assault.

Kelvin Barranco caught doing burnouts in his pink BMW on Hickory Hollow

23-year-old Kelvin Barranco did a “burnout” in the parking lot of the Southeast Library on Hickory Hollow Parkway on March 23rd. Officers observed a large amount of dust and smoke coming from the tires of his pink BMW 325, followed by a loud “revving sound.” They approached him, and he provided them with his driver’s credentials, which returned with suspended status. Officers discovered the location had an active trespass waiver on file, and he was cited for the incident. Barranco was booked on the citations of reckless driving and criminal trespass on April 26th.

Andre Ingram pulls gun on neighbor, says “I’m a cop b*tch”

63-year-old Andre Ingram was booked on the summons of assault on April 26th. On February 24th, Daniel Boston called the police to his unit at The Warrick Apartments regarding issues with his neighbor, Ingram. When they arrived, he stated that Ingram’s dog and his music were too loud, even after he had spoken with management about it. While he was outside, he saw Ingram walking his dog in the parking lot and tried to initiate a conversation with him to address the noise, during which Ingram started to “go off,” sparking an argument where he lifted his shirt, displaying a black firearm in a holster on his right hip. He then grabbed the pistol and took it out halfway while saying, “I’m a cop, bitch.” Boston went to the leasing office to call 911, and Ingram followed him.

When officers spoke with Ingram, he stated he was walking his dog when Boston approached him and started cursing and calling him a “motherfucker” out of nowhere. He said he knew his rights, adding that he lifted his shirt to grab his credentials from his back right pants pocket, and Boston yelled, “He got a gun,” so he walked away. Ingram advised that he never touched his firearm.

On February 27th, Ingram informed detectives that he did have his black holster on during the incident but did not have his pistol. Then, he changed his statement, advising officers that he put it away on a top shelf and told them he had misspoken when he told the responding officer he had his firearm on him. On February 29th, a warrant was issued for his arrest.

DUI: Tackerette Bigbee hits car at Rest Haven Motel after drinking 3 beers on his birthday

51-year-old Tackerette Bigbee was involved in a car accident at the Rest Haven Motel parking lot on the night of his birthday. Early on April 28th, Officers arrived and observed Bigbee sitting in a tan Chevy Tahoe with the engine running. Officers explained to Bigbee that he had hit another vehicle, but he stated that he hadn’t hit the vehicle. Damage was apparent on both cars present. However, Bigbee noted that he already had damage done to his car. Bigbee exited his truck after being instructed to do so but demonstrated clear signs of intoxication. Officers asked Bigbee if he had anything to drink, and he admitted that he had consumed three beers, leading to sobriety tests. Bigbee consented to the sobriety tests but performed poorly. Tackerette Bigbee was then taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence.

Josue Uribe jumps on top of cab after drinking on Broadway, says his friend told him to do it

24-year-old Josue Uribe was seen jumping on top of a cab in the middle of the street on Broadway on April 28th. Uribe was observed yelling and dancing on the top of the cab. Officers made contact and noticed a strong odor of alcohol as they approached Uribe, who stated that his friend told him to do it. Uribe admitted he had 2 to 3 drinks before jumping on the cab. According to law enforcement, Josue Uribe was a danger to himself, so he was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Figueroa Serrano resists arrest after brawl at Whiskey Row on Broadway

21-year-old Figueroa Gabriela Serrano was one out of a group of individuals who were fighting inside Whiskey Row around 12:06 a.m. on April 28th. Staff from Whiskey Row flagged officers down, advising them of the altercation. Officers then arrived and observed several people scuffling in front of the establishment. When the police started breaking up the large group, they struggled with two of them, one being Serrano, who ran away from the scene. While escorting one of the involved individuals, he pointed out Serrano as the person he was fighting with. Officers went to detain Serrano, and he became resistive, even after numerous instructions to “Stop resisting,” causing them to take him to the ground to arrest him safely. Serrano was then taken into custody for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

DUI: Jared Horton speeds down I-40 East at 81 mph after tasting several whiskeys at Burger & Grain

28-year-old Jared Cory Horton was speeding on I-40 East near Mile Marker 209.8 late April 27th. State Trooper Hearn observed him going 81 mph in a 55-mph zone, activated his emergency equipment, and conducted a traffic stop at Mile Marker 210.2. When asked why he was speeding, Horton told him he was heading home from work. Hearn noticed Horton reeked of alcohol as he provided him with his driver’s credentials. This prompted Hearn to ask if he had anything to drink, which Horton ignored and continued explaining why he was speeding. Horton stated that he did not consume any alcohol or have any in the vehicle. Trooper Hearn instructed Horton to exit his car, and while doing so he showed signs of impairment. Hearn then asked Horton to take sobriety tests, which he consented to and performed poorly. After performing poorly on sobriety tests, Horton admitted to tasting several whiskeys throughout his shift as a bartender at Burger & Grains, adding that he had not drunk anything within the last two hours. He was informed of implied consent and refused to provide a chemical sample. Horton was taken into custody for driving under the influence and an implied consent violation.
