28-year-old Antione Holman tried to break into random rooms at the Super 8 Hotel on Murfreesboro Pike late April 30th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Sunjay Patel, the establishment’s owner, who stated Holman was trying to enter rooms without being a resident. Patel provided officers with footage showing Holman jumping over the fence before attempting to open several doors. Then, Holman passed the front desk without intent to pay for services, went to room 641, and started pushing against the door, damaging the frame. Afterward, Holman went to room 610, grabbed a large rock, and threw it through the window to enter the room. Patel told officers the window cost approximately $1,400 and that the location had an active trespass waiver on file. Holman was taken into custody for two counts of burglary.
