Israel Ayala-Roman calls officers “F*ggots”, tells them to take his cuffs off to fight him

39-year-old Israel Ayala-Roman was one of many individuals drinking beer, standing outside Klean Kutz Barbershop and Linbar Laundromat on Linbar Drive around 4:00 p.m. on March 31st. Officers observed this and told the individuals to leave the location. Ayala-Roman stood up, almost fell over, then bent over to pick up a box of beer, which officers told him not to. Officers noticed Ayala-Roman was visibly impaired and reeked of alcohol as he tried to walk away, so they asked him for his identification. Then, he stopped, shook his head, walked into the business, and sat in a seat, refusing to provide his information. Officers had a Spanish-speaking officer tell Ayala-Roman to leave the location, but he still refused. Officers deemed him a danger to himself or others and detained him. While at booking, Ayala-Roman started yelling at officers, calling them “f*ggots” repeatedly and telling them to take his cuffs off to fight him. Ayala-Roman was taken into custody for criminal trespass, public intoxication, and disorderly conduct.

Loren Eicher booked after being unable to speak outside of Barstool Nashville

46-year-old Loren Eicher was seen drunkenly swaying back and forth outside Barstool Nashville on March 31st. When officers made contact with Eicher, he was unable to speak due to his high level of intoxication. Officers then attempted to find Eicher somewhere safe to go. Eicher told officers that he lost his relatives and lost all of his property. Since officers had nowhere to take Loren Eicher, he was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Corey Schaefer urinates on himself after walking home from Murfreesboro

40-year-old Corey Schaefer was nearly hit by multiple vehicles as he stumbled across the road near James Robertson Parkway and 3rd Avenue North late March 31st. Officers patrolled the area when they observed him cross the road, disregarding traffic, causing drivers to brake suddenly. They conducted a stop and started questioning Schaefer. During this, they noticed he urinated on himself, which he said he was unaware of. He then told the officers that he was walking from Murfreesboro but could not tell them where he drank earlier or provide an accurate address to get him home safely, giving them the numbers to an address but not a street name. Due to being a danger to himself, Schaefer was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Kelly Reynolds pulls shirt up, shakes her 48-year-old buttocks in front of Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk

48-year-old Kelly Reynolds had her belongings on the sidewalk, dancing in front of Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk on the afternoon of March 31st. Officers observed that she had her shirt pulled up, showing her belly, while bending over and shaking her 48-year-old buttocks toward patrons. When officers approached to speak with her, they saw she had constricted pupils, muscle tremors, and could not converse regularly. Officers remembered her from an encounter earlier that morning. During which, she was warned for obstructing a passageway and public intoxication in front of the Hampton Social. When this occurred, officers advised Reynolds to go to the park, sober up, and avoid Broadway. Reynolds was detained for the safety and well-being of her and the patrons. Reynolds was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Amanda Sparrow too intoxicated to get in taxi cab

25-year-old Amanda Michelle Sparrow was lying on the ground, trying to fix her broken boot with her other boot, in front of Jason Aldean’s Rooftop Bar around midnight on March 30th. Officers observed this while her friends attempted to get her a taxi, but she kept refusing and pulling away. Officers then intervened and tried to get her into the cab, during which they noticed she was unsteady on her feet and her speech was slurred. Sparrow was deemed unable to care for herself and was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Cody Magee found passed out drunk in fetal position at Omni Hotel

30-year-old Cody Magee trespassed at the Omni Hotel in the early hours of March 30th. An off-duty officer requested police’s assistance regarding an intoxicated individual, later identified as Magee. When the officers arrived at the hotel, they noticed he was sleeping on a couch in the hotel lobby. Officers noticed Magee was in the fetal position, reeking of alcohol. The hotel staff attempted to identify him to see if he was a guest but were unable to do so. Officers tried to get Magee to sit up repeatedly, but he kept returning to the fetal position. Officers eventually located his driver’s license, and the hotel confirmed he was not a guest, adding that they had a valid trespass waiver on file for Magee. Cody Magee was deemed unable to care for himself and was taken into custody for criminal trespass and public intoxication.

Stanley Tallman attempts to fight random bystanders outside of Wild Beaver Saloon

40-year-old Stanley Tallman was disorderly at Wild Beaver Saloon on Commerce Street in the early hours of March 25th. When officers arrived, security for the establishment advised them that Tallman was outside trying to pick fights with random people. Security stated that when they approached him, he reeked of alcohol. They explained that they told Tallman to leave several times, but he refused, causing a disturbance. Officers asked Tallman if he had a place he could go to, but he gave blank responses to them. Officers deemed him a danger to himself and others, so they detained him. Tallman was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Manuel Ochoa Palomo spits in officer’s face during dispute at Southern Hills Hospital

20-year-old Manuel Ochoa Palomo was involved in an altercation with a police officer at Southern Hills Hospital on March 23rd. Officers tried to speak with Palomo because his cousin was also admitted to the hospital with a gunshot wound. As they engaged in conversation with him, he started becoming extremely angry. Palomo started to scream and yell derogatory comments at officers. Staff at the hospital warned Palomo that if he did not stop, he would be discharged from the hospital. Palomo responded by saying that “he has never been as drunk as he was now” and calmed down. About a minute later, Palomo became angry again and started yelling. The hospital staff then discharged Palomo and requested that he be removed from the building. Officers escorted Palomo out of the building, where he continued to be disorderly. Since Palomo’s behavior continued, he was taken into custody. Shortly after calming down in the back of the police car, Palomo started kicking the back window. This prompted an officer to try to put hobbles on his feet. While doing so, Palomo spit in the face of Officer McCluskey. Manuel Ochoa Palomo was then transported to booking and charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Blake Newell drunkenly attempts to enter Music City Center, tells police woman assaulted him

40-year-old Blake Newell was taken into custody for public intoxication on March 26th. Officers received a call regarding a male, later identified as Newell, being hit by a female near 7th Avenue South and Demonbreun Street. When officers arrived, they noticed Newell was trying to enter the Music City Center. Officers also noticed he had a laceration on the right side of his forehead. Newell showed signs of impairment as he told them that he had been hit by a female who had stolen his phone. He refused medical attention and demanded to be taken back to his hotel. Newell admitted to drinking and then referred to the officers as the “Memphis Police Department,” so they deemed him unable to care for himself and then detained him.

Richard Thorpe harasses bystanders after being kicked out of Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk

47-year-old Richard Thorpe was escorted out of Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk by security at around 9:50 p.m. on March 24th. After this, officers observed Thorpe harassing bystanders outside of the bar. Officers approached him and attempted to provide him with a safe ride to his hotel. Thorpe showed multiple signs of impairment and could not give officers an address of where he would be staying for the night. So, officers deemed him a danger to not able to care for himself. Thorpe was taken into custody for public intoxication.
